South Haven - Great Lakes Getaway:
Private, year-round home is perfect for family vacations and hanging with friends. Completed in 2021, this 2,600 square foot house offers plenty of space and sleeping arrangements to accommodate 2 or 3 families. It is well appointed and has five large bedrooms & three full bathrooms, within its modern design. It also offers an open-concept kitchen, dining and living room on the main level. This space provides a perfect gathering area to accommodate large groups and is complemented nicely by the homes second living room area in the lower level and its newly, thoughtfully furnished, roomy bedrooms and bathrooms throughout the house.

Our attached garage is also finished and offers another large, open area to hang out, play ping pong and other assorted fun and games. The garage connects directly to our patio, which has a gas grill and a Solo Stove Bonfire wood burning fire pit, along with multiple high quality Adirondack chairs. We are situated on a corner lot with no neighbors to the east or south, which provides a high level of privacy on that side of the house coupled with a spacious grassy area for the kids to enjoy, and adults as well. Another outdoor amenity is our outdoor shower complete with both hot and cold water.
Your vacation includes access to our private, heated swimming pool and clubhouse, which are less than half a block walk from our house and are only available for use by our 20-home community of home owners and our vacation rental guests. We are located directly on the Van Buren Trail; just a 4 block walk to South Haven's beautiful South Beach and Kid's Corner; and less than a mile from South Haven's quaint downtown which offers a variety of unique shopping and dining options.

This house was very clean and modern. We all loved the beautiful kitchen, dining, living room area. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious with great showers. This house is in a good location, five-to-ten minute drives from downtown South Haven and the grocery stores and the restaurants around town. Finally, the homeowner, Chris, was very kind and helpful whenever I reached out and answered messages in a timely manner. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing home and trip!

We had a family of 11 and this house was absolutely perfect for us. We walked everywhere, everyone had a beautiful room and comfy bed. All the amenities we needed were there. Highly recommend!

Comfortable clean and well equipped

Everything went very smoothly. Location is decent. Manageable walk to the beach, a little further to town. Pool was very close and clean. House was well equipped with everything. Only thing I would add is a drip coffee maker. Host communicated well and was very nice.

Loved this VRBO

We've stayed at lots of VRBO's through the years, but this one is a standout. It's spacious, it's comfortable, and it felt like they had thought of everything we could possibly need. I especially appreciated the luxury of carpeting just where you'd want it. Nice towels, sheets, pillows, etc.We had 4 adults and 3 littles(5,4,& 1)and way more space than we needed. We spent the mornings on the beach and loved having the pool in the late afternoons. We didn't mind the walk to the beach--it was worth it to be there!Chris was a great communicator and was very responsive when we called. Highly recommend!

South Haven Beach getaway

We had an excellent time at this VRBO. The house is beautiful and very clean. Twenty minute walk to the public beach. Kitchen very well stocked. Many beach toys and ping pong in the garage. Chris was an excellent host. 😊

Perfect house for our family

The property was clean, modern amenities. The location was great. We had access to the community pool which was very close; less than a block. The foosball table and the ping pong table were enjoyed by all. The side yard was plenty large enough for playing catch or badminton. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was great as was the grill in the yard.

Great week at Trailside!

The property was fabulous. We rented 2 houses in the same neighborhood for our family, and this one was extra special. We really loved the foosball table, ping-pong, and the beach chairs! The owner is responsive, and super nice. The location is great, we rented bikes & took a couple trips down the bike trail. We'd definitely rent this house again!

Family vacation

We loved everything about the home- proximity to lake, Kids Corner playground and downtown. The unit is extremely well equipped for family needs, including many bath towels, kitchen needs and laundry machines. Our group of 11 ranged in age from 9 months to 68 years old- there was plenty of space for everyone with comfortable sleeping spaces. We would recommend this home without reservations!

Perfect Clean home with great amenities!

My girlfriends and adult children had a wonderful time staying at this home. It was very comfortable for all 11 adults we had staying there. Great layout and the first thing we noticed was that it was SO CLEAN! Totally loved that! The home was better than we had expected from the photos! We loved the space and location and the fact that it had a pool we could access in addtion to being so close to South Beach. The host was great at communicating all the important and necessary information. Made the whole booking process easy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property, quick walk to the beach/downtown

My stay here was lovely, I hope to return again some time soon. First impressions: easy to find, seamless check-in, and well-appointed! The home itself is beautiful and sparkling clean. I love how bright and open it is, it’s such a welcoming space. The beds are comfortable and cozy, and the huge couch is perfect for a movie night (as a bonus, there’s a second tv area on the lower level, along with a fun foosball table!). The fire pit was also enjoyed by all. As beautiful as the house is, the thing I liked the best was the quick walk to the beach and downtown South Haven. This place is would be perfect for two families! I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking to book a great space in South Haven. Thanks again, Chris!

Spectacular Stay – Perfect for Families!This house was absolutely spectacular! We traveled with several children, and it had more than enough space for everyone to spread out, sleep comfortably, and stay entertained. Inside, there were plenty of games, and outside, toys were provided that the kids loved. Being on a corner lot with a quiet street made it perfect for playing kickball and catch in the side yard nearly every night.We also enjoyed evenings around the fire with s’mores, thanks to the firewood that was thoughtfully provided.The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with pots, pans, cookware, kid-friendly plasticware, essential spices, and even a second refrigerator in the garage—which was so helpful for a large group. Blow dryers in the bathrooms were an added convenience as well.The beach gear was such a bonus—chairs, toys, and a wagon were all available, which saved a ton of space in our car and made beach days a breeze.Our only small suggestion would be to consider adding TVs in a few of the bedrooms for added comfort and flexibility.The house was spotless, and the owners were great with communication. Every person in our group said they either wanted to take the house home or move to Michigan! We would absolutely recommend staying here—it was the perfect vacation spot.

Family beach vacation

South Haven is a wonderful small town with great restaurants, quaint shops and of course, ice cream parlors, just a leisure walk from this vacation home. What a great place for a family vacation!

This home in South Haven has everything you need for the perfect family vacation. It is just a 15 minute walk to South Beach. The home is beautifully furnished and the owners provide lots of extras… beach chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, games, toys and more. The neighborhood pool was a great addition - especially for the small kids! There were several inside games too! The kitchen was fully stocked with all you would need to prepare meals at home! Great family reunion in a fantastic beach home!

Fun in the Sun in South Haven

We had a wonderful time with our family! The home was super clean and well equipped for a fun day at the beach. The owner was super responsive and helpful. Left lots of suggestions of things to do while visiting South Haven. The pool was super close and clean. The beach was walking distance. Highly recommend!

Great Family Rental

Fantastic house close to the downtown ideal for families. The kids loved having the downstairs to themselves with TV, games and bedrooms. The adults have their own space upstairs with living room separate bedrooms. Easy drive to Phoenix street and shopping/restaurants a few blocks away.

Very New and Clean!

Property is very new and in a new development with a community pool. This was great! Everything in the property was new and very clean as well. Big, open kitchen that was well stocked. Two large TV areas that was great for adults and kids to watch different things. Nice size dining table that comfortably sits 10. Super clean bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. Even an outside shower, which was nice for cleaning off kids and toys. There also were a lot of games/toys for the kids to play with including things for the beach. Chairs, wagon, umbrella, etc. Everything you need. We had one minor issue with the microwave while we were there and the owner was instantly on top of it. Very friendly to deal with and had it taken care of right away. Overall great experience and I would highly recommend if you have a large family or two families going together. This place is great!
