Beautifully renovated villa with view of the ocean. The owner stocked everything we needed and included generous welcome gifts. The sheets and towels are high quality. West Maui had a power outage during a storm while we were there, but the owner had supplied flashlights.

All were first rate. Special touches such as welcoming cookies, sparkling wine, leis greatly appreciated. All needs, potential needs anticipated. The degree of care and consideration was a level above the usual, probably the best we have encountered. Both Alan and Jonathan were exceptional hosts.

The correspondence with the host increased my excitement for the upcoming vacation. Right from the beginning with the property manager giving a tour through the lovely property, we started to enjoy our stay. The location on the spectacular cliff walk make it a truly Hawaiian experience. Thank you!

Don't think twice - stay here! The pictures of the unit are accurate but do not fully capture the villas' surroundings, the grounds, the pool and straight on ocean view. It is an amazing property, extremely comfortable with easy trail access, beach access and walking distance to restaurants. What pushes this over the top? Alan the host and Jonathan who is in town to help with any needs. Alan is simply the best most attentive host we have interacted with on VRBO. If we ever get another opportunity to go back to Maui, no question where my wife and I will stay. Everything you need for a stay is in the unit and everything you need to relax is right outside your front door.

We’ve stayed at multiple Bay Villas over the last 20 years - this was by far the most disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the unit was extremely hot. The local rep said the A/C hadn’t been used in a month and told us it would cool down. After an hour, we reached out again. He brought two loud portable A/C units vented through the sliding door and upstairs window - blocking the ocean view, limiting outdoor access, and failing to cool the unit effectively.The A/C technician came the next day and confirmed the system was completely broken and not fixable. The host offered a larger inland home, but we had specifically booked and paid a premium for an oceanfront unit - location was a non-negotiable part of the experience.The bed was comfortable and the appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher) were new, but the unit overall felt worn and in need of a refresh.We’ve submitted a refund request to VRBO. The lack of central A/C and poor resolution created unnecessary stress on what should have been a relaxing family trip. Renters should know this property had no functioning central A/C, and we would not return unless that issue is clearly resolved in advance.

Perfect condo, perfect location

We come to Kapalua a lot and have experiences staying in many different condos. This is one of the best we have stayed in. The proximity to the pool (the best pool in the complex), ocean view from both upstairs and downstairs, and amenities provided all make for a spectacular stay. We couldn’t be more grateful to Alan for this hospitality. Mahalos!

25th Wedding Anniversary

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Maui property! The condo was spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed—including beach chairs, snorkel gear, and other thoughtful touches that made our trip so easy and enjoyable. The location is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to the beach and with convenient access to the stunning Coastal Trail. Alan and Russell were incredibly helpful and welcoming—truly exceptional hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful stay

Amazing views from this property. Alan and Russell are wonderful to work with. The pictures accurately reflect the unit. Which is spotless and they have everything you would need to stay there. The cookies and wine were much appreciated as well. It would be nice to have some darker shades for the bedroom. Other than that we have nothing negative to say about the property. We can't wait to be back.

Wonderful Kapalua!!

Loved this slice of heaven. Alan made everything perfect from start to finish. Views amazing!! Spacious lanais overlooking the pool, of which there are two additional on the property. Russell greeted us and gave a a great tour. Mahalo nui!!

Great place!

Our family has stayed in multiple rentals in the KBV’s and this has been one of the best. Everything was perfect! The view, proximity to the pool and tennis courts, amazing water pressure, extra amenities, communication, and bedding/linens. All the extra special touches were really appreciated too! Last but not least.... the bed is super comfortable!! Much mahalo for sharing your home with us.

You won’t be disappointed! Wish we stayed longer!

If you are looking for a place that has it all, you have found it with this beautiful Kapalua condo. The photos don’t do it justice! It was perfect for myself, husband & two kids, 8 & 10. We loved being able to be within walking distance of 3 different beaches, the coastal trail & the bay golf course. Having all the chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards & snorkel gear made it so easy. Alan & his team added so many nice touches that were unexpected & made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come stay again in the near future!

Heavenly view, close to beaches

My sister and I loved our stay at this Kapalua Bay Villa! Alan communicated with me from when we booked the property to our checkout date, inquiring if we needed anything, if everything was good, etc. If we needed anything, he was quick to respond, as well as Russell, when Alan was away.Awesome hosts!As for the view, pictures do not do it justice. We loved waking up to the ocean view, as well as enjoying a glass of wine on the lanai after a full day of activities. The close walks to Kapalua Bay and Oneloa Beach make it an ideal location, as well as the proximity to the coastal walk and the entire resort walks/trails. It was also great to have the beach chairs and snorkeling equipment provided.The bed is very comfortable, as well as the living room sofa. We cooked many nights, and found all we needed (we did need some bbq utensils, and Russell delivered them immediately). The entire place was spotless, and plenty of towels and toiletries were provided. Spending time at the pool was relaxing, too. My sister went to the gym a few times and said there were many machines/weights available, as well as a full locker room.Thank you again for going above and beyond, Alan and Russell; we hope to visit again!

Great North Maui Stay

Alan was great! Answered my questions very quickly and gave me great advice! Highly recommend the condo. The only slight issue I had was the amount of cars on the road throughout Maui. Not the problem for the condo or Alan. I guess many individuals want to be here on this great island as I did.

Amazing views

Loved waking up every morning to the beautiful ocean view. Alan was the best. He met us there and walked through everything so we had no issues on how things worked. Loved the location and how close we were to everything.

Island Adventure and Serenity

Situated between the serene Kapalua Bay and exhilerating Ironwoods Beach, Alan's Kapalua Villa was the perfect spot to celebrate our second Honeymoon. As promised, the villa had everything we wanted and more; beautiful ocean view, comfy bed, well appointed and quiet. Alan went beyond for us with treats and all the ocean toys. We love to snorkel and the gear was top quality as were the beach chairs, boogies boards, coolers and umbrellas. Sitting out on the grass dining at sunset was a highlight and we loved hiking the rugged coastline hiking. Alan was always available and made sure we were taken care of. It was our first time staying in Kapalua and we would book this villa again in a heartbeat. So grateful. Mahalo Alan.

Great unit in the Bay Villas

This is a great two level unit in the Bay Villas, recently updated, and one of the best locations in my opinion. It is very easy to walk down to Kapalua Bay or Oneloa beach, and obviously the coastal trail is only 2 minutes away. The two levels provide great views from every room and because it is close to the pool, it is very convenient if you want to stay home, grill, and dine on your lanai. The unit has everything you need for food prep, cooking, grilling, for packing lunches, and for going to the beach (coolers, umbrellas, chairs, snorkel equipment). Alan and Russ are great to work with, they even checked in after we got there just to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. Can't wait to go back!

Great Unit in Kapalua!

We've stayed in many Bay Villas and this is one of the best! It is in great condition and has everything you need for a week+ long vacation, from storage containers to boogie boards, chairs, and umbrella, it has it all. The check-in amenities are awesome too! Alan and Russ were awesome to work with, they communicated everything on time and even checked in with us after arrival to make sure everything was going well. Could not ask for better hosts. We will be back!
