We had the most incredible stay at Lago da Serra. We came as a group of couples and friends, and the estate was absolutely perfect for us. The photos really don’t do justice to how beautiful and spacious the property is. Having three separate villas meant everyone had plenty of privacy, while still having fantastic spaces to all get together. The huge pool and Tiki pool bar were definitely a highlight and we spent most of our days there relaxing, swimming, enjoying drinks and spending time together. It genuinely felt like having our own private resort. The grounds are beautiful, incredibly peaceful and so spacious that even with a large group it never felt crowded. The location was brilliant too you feel completely private and secluded, but Almancil, Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and some fantastic beaches and restaurants are all close by. We used Ubers most evenings, which were easy to get, so there was no need to worry about driving when we went out for dinner or drinks. Steve was a fantastic host, very responsive and helpful, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We’ve rented quite a few large villas as a group over the years and this was easily one of our favourites. Perfect for a group of friends or several families who want to holiday together while still having their own space. We were genuinely sad to leave and would absolutely come back.
