Our beautiful condo with beach decor is waiting for you and your loved ones to enjoy! This spacious condo includes: a fully equipped, eat-in kitchen with new, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, bedrooms with private full baths and spectacular, water views. Sip your coffee on our comfy Screen-in porch where you can relax and soak in waterfront views of Indian River Bay and marvel at the abundant wildlife. You will find Smart TV'S with HD and WiFi throughout.

Bethany Bay is minutes from the beach (Bethany Beach 5.7 miles away), close enough to enjoy the ocean but far enough to escape the crowds. The area is rich with ponds, birds, fish and other wildlife within protected wetlands giving it the nickname the “People Sanctuary”. Bethany Bay's ponds and the surrounding coastal waterways provide a home to ducks, geese, herons and egrets. This tranquil resort also offers many amenities including an outdoor swimming pool, kiddie pool, hot tub jacuzzi, tennis courts, beach volleyball, basketball, boat ramp, playground , walking trails, clubhouse and an executive 9 hole golf course.

We had an amazing time on our vacation! The condo is beautiful and very clean. Also, the view of the bay from the porch as well as bedrooms was outstanding! The sunrise over the water… just WOW!

Check in was very simple. Kitchen was well stocked with everything necessary and extras for cooking. WiFi was good. The screen porch patio view was spectacular. Bedrooms were great. Plenty of room for 8 of us. The room with the combination of bed sizes was perfect for the 3 kids. Great weather, great vacation. .

2025 Family Vacation

Loved the views. The beachy decor was very tastefully done. Loved that each of the 4 bedrooms had its own bathroom. The only thing was no disaginated parking. We've always stayed at a property with disaginated spaces. But aii in all, we had an awesome vacation.

Another perfect stay!

This was our second time studying at this property and it won't be the last, we love it! There is a bathroom for each bedroom, a multi -bed room for the cousins to take over, a wonderful kitchen stocked with essential tools, and so much more! The back balcony is completely perfect, screened in with comfortable chairs and a gorgeous view of the inlet. The nearby beaches, boardwalks, restaurants, and shopping kept us busy, and the pool kept us cool! Thanks!

Great experience

The condo was excellent. My grandkids loved the pool and I loved the hot tub.The location was close to Bethany Beach. We loved going down to Assateague National seashore, with all the horses. It was clean and has a beautiful view in both directions. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was great. Overall, this was an outstanding experience.

Location is incredible! Communication amazing with hosts! Enjoyed everything! Comfortable couch and beds! Plenty of space for all 10 of us! Views were amazing from both front deck and back screened in porch! Pool access easy! Close enough to the beach and far enough to be incredibly peaceful! Loved all the wildlife around and the people walking dogs etc outdoors were super friendly. Very welcoming community! Kid friendly and safe! Definitely will rent again!!!

Relaxing, clean, spacious bay view condo

The house was clean and spacious, back porchview was beautiful. Conveniently located to grocery/liquor store, 15 min drive to Bethany Beach and restaurants but parking was a problem, we ended up driving a little bit farther to Delaware Seashore Beach for stress free parking.. the community pool/hottub is very nice and clean and very kind attendants, but it's not very close to the condo, we needed to drive to the pool simply bc we had too much to carry. Would recommend this facility as the accommodations were spotless and owners were very friendly and professional.

Brilliant

I have rented homes all over the world both for personal use and other. This condo is wonderful. Spotlessly clean, new furnishings, beautiful views, plenty of bathrooms and a great kitchen. The deck area is a perfect spot to sit and work, read or meditate. It looks out over the marshes onto the beach area and bridge. Lovely, lovely views. First time down to Bethany Beach. Rehoboth and Lewes. Its quite nice. Would definitely recommend this to other beachgoers.

Beautiful home! Lots of space for 3 families. Each bedroom had a full bathroom, good water pressure in the showers - even if a few were showering at the same time. We broke it up so we would all get hot water too. Lots of steps to get into building but we didn’t mind it.Pool, play area and basketball was lots of fun. There’s a nice little gym onsite too. Beautiful property, we enjoyed walks on the paths. One night we saw 14 deer grazing and crossed right in front of us on the path. Depending on traffic and times you go, about a 15 min drive to the beach We drove a little further to Fenwick Island State Park everyday (about 30 mins depending on traffic) bc they allow canopies - the beach in Bethany does not. Key is arriving early to get a good spot! parking was 10 bucks We loved walking around in town at Bethany and hitting up the little shops!! For our first stay in Delaware we were so happy and would highly recommend it!!!!!

Family vacation

We had an amazing stay at the beach this year thanks to this condo! It was our first big family vacation a sisters with our own families joined together, we loved that each room had its own bathrooms which made it much easier for our large group. The screened in balcony was a nice bonus. The condo is on the third floor so a lot of stairs to climb but the view up top is worth it. The owners were easy to get in touch with, fast responding, and pleasant to speak to. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to the beach because of traffic but was not far by any means. The kids and adults enjoyed the community pool/hot tub. There was a grocery store about 4 minutes down the road which was wonderful. Overall a great place to stay with the family!

We had an amazing time, the pool was wonderful, large and very clean. Our unit was beautiful on the third floor, wonderful views, and lots of wildlife. Highly recommend.

Beautiful surroundings.

Bethany Bay is one of the most beautiful places to stay in Bethany beach. It has a 9 hole golf course and a beautiful pool. It also has a little beach area to enjoy. Very close to many activities and restaurants and groceries. It also has a beer and liquor store close by.

Another wonderful vacation

My family of 8 consisting of 6 adults and 2 children had a fantastic time. We have stayed at Bethany Bay before. It is a beautiful place to stay. Lots to do on the premises and only a short drive to the beach.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful week staying in Once Upon a Tide. It fit the needs of our family perfectly. The access to the pool and tennis courts was a great addition to our week. The drive to the boardwalk at Bethany wasn’t too bad: 15-20 mins depending on traffic. The A/C was great, the view was amazing and the beds were comfortable....all but the den pull out. (Not good for sleeping.) We had a great week with our family and would consider renting again!! Thank you Robert and Thylin!

The sunset view from deck is amazing! Might have reconsidered renting if it was known this unit was on third floor, no elevator, due to health issue of family member.

Nothing short of amazing

Not only was the condo perfect, but loved the grounds, including the pool and trails. Also, drive to Bethany Beach was very easy. This was five stars all around.
