This impressive property sits on a 30 acre smallholding in the heart of the Devon countryside. The nearby village of Chulmleigh is a delight with its shops, pubs, riding stables and golf course. Further afield are the superb beaches of Saunton and Woolacombe or enjoy the splendour of Dartmoor and Exmoor. For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of walking and cycling opportunities, why not hire bikes or take a trip on the pretty Tarka Train Line providing easy access to both Barnstaple and Exeter. Other attractions include RHS Rosemoor Gardens and the Cobbaton Combat Museum.

On entering this property, you notice immediately the spaciousness, to add to the sense of space are the high ceilings. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is great for friends and families to cook, eat and relax together with comfy sofas and a warming wood burner with logs and Smart TV. It’s a great place to stay at any time of the year. The kitchen area is well fitted and has an island unit, with electric double oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A separate WC can also be found on the ground floor with a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. This property is furnished and equipped in a contemporary style and has the convenience of underfloor heating on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms to choose from, the first of which a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room with WC which is found on the ground floor. Heading up to the first floor up the stairs you have two further bedrooms, a twin and a super-king-size. A bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC completes the accommodation.

Stepping outside there is a private patio and enclosed lawn garden to enjoy your evenings. Guests are also welcome to explore the 7 acres of woodland and by arrangement with the owner, meet some of the farm animals. A walk across the meadow leads down to the fenced wildlife pond which has a cosy shelter with an undercover dining area (guests are welcome to take their own food and drink), which can be booked for exclusive use with the owner.
