We loved the condo, accommodations, all the kitchen amenities, bedding, extra blankets, towels, complimentary soaps for the kitchen and baths. The laundry room had full size W/D along with beach and pool accessories.The building and grounds were very clean and staff were accommodating. The pool was awesome and felt as if we were on the beach. Outside our condo door, next to our laundry closet was a tall table and chairs we sat and watched the sunset. Our beachfront balcony was spacious, clean with spectacular views.Please be aware, Dayton’s Volucia County DOES NOT allow pets on their beaches. :) They do have a few pet friendly beaches, but due to our limited mobility we could not utilize them.We will echo on past reviews that we had read. We are barefoot folks in our home. After we unpacked and organized our condo, our feet were filthy. I mopped the entire floor.

Location of property right on the beach is the best feature. Some of the rooms need some attention for updating, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. We had a great time on our vacation.

Good Condo

It’s a nice condo. Has new laminate flooring throughout the main living area and bedrooms. The amenities listed a travel crib but there wasn’t one. The unit was clean and has all of the necessary kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen needs to be upgraded but everything works as it should. The owners were staying in the unit next to us and we met them. They were very nice. The host replied quickly with any questions. But I would think they would with what they charged in host fees for this unit. All in all we would rent this unit again but we already have a different one booked for next year.

You can't control the weather 😂

We had a great week. Unit was nice and as described. There were no extra supplies like trash bags or dishwasher pods. There also was not a can opener. We bought one and left it in the unit. It rained every day we were there but we certainly don't blame that on anyone! 😂 It was great being able to bring the dogs. Sorry they barked. We were able to find a great pet sitter last minute. The codes for all of the doors were not consistent and the gate to get to the beach was not the same as the others and someone had to give us their code to use during the week. Overall we had a great time and really enjoy staying at the Shores Club.

Beautiful view

Enjoyed our stay, love the shores club, the unit had plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and gorgeous view. The furniture is comfortable but dated. The manager was very helpful with the tv . Second bedroom tv needs another cable. Overall a very enjoyable stay

Needs little update. Supply trash bags Explain where washer and dryer is located Great location to beach In description let renters know there is a canopy. Boards, some sand toys available. We rented those items and then found those in laundry area.

Awesome Condo

This was our second time staying at this condo. There were a few things that were upgraded since our last stay which was great. This location on the ocean is why we love this place. Can’t beat the view!

Could be great, if....

We love this building. The week before our arrival we learned there would be "light jackhammering" for a "portion" of our stay. Sometimes stuff like that just happens. The property manager was quite responsive and did give us a partial refund for the noise & disruption - which we appreciated. Unfortunately the noise was rather intense & lasted for 3/4 of our 30 day stay. The property on arrival was not clean. There was a bunch of little stuff that was annoying: 9 burnt out light bulbs, broken closet doors, no sharp knives, no cutting board, crappy cutlery, pots & pans, glassware and dishes, few bath towels, no mats (none at the door, none by the beds, none in the bathrooms), old & tired furniture that was questionable as to how clean it was. We were happy to see the flooring had been updated to hard surface. But were disappointed the fridge door didn't close & we had a constant puddle in the fridge. The appliances are VERY old. We weren't looking for gourmet appliances, but these were from the 70's - and I am NOT exaggerating. On arrival we bought lightbulbs, a mop & bucket, broom, dustpan, frying pan, cutting board and sharp knives. The property managers were happy to reimburse us. And we spent several hours cleaning. Seeing as we had the place for a month, cleaning it was our only option. On the upside, the property managers were responsive & helpful, the beds were somewhat comfy and you can't ask for a nicer building.

Great view and location

The facility was very nice and clean. The condo was also clean with a great view. The kitchen was well equipped and we had plenty of room. The bed in the master needs the matress replaced and the condo needs updated. We couldn't find the key to the laudry room until the last day and there were no instructions in the condo. Other than that, it was a great trip.

I tried to get login codes 2 hrs before arrival with no communication from the owner via app twice. I finally had to call customer service to get codes. I will say the customer service rep was very helpful & got me into the property. She even called me before she went home to verify I had no other issues. Her name was Tulsa & she was awesome!

Beautiful 4th of July at Sores Club

Beautiful unit with unparalleled vistas of the beach! Highly recommended! Our family enjoyed the many restaurants and activities so close by!

Family Quality Time

Enjoyed well-kept property with a well-kept pool. Person taking care of pool water does a thorough job of cleaning ans knows how to do pool chemicals. No burning eyes after time in pool. There needs to be a designated wastebasket for pet waste bags. Not one recepticle marked. Glad to see recycling bins. Coffee maker leaked but husband had a temporary fix w/a spoon to hold lever in place so water would flow through. Otherwise a ver good experience. Highly likely to return next year. I will recommend Daytona Shores Club if anyone were to ask me about a place to stay on Daytona Beach. This was also our first experience w/Vrbo. I will definitely use Vrbo for future accommodation reservations. Thank you!

Dirty property

We arrived on a Friday of a holiday weekend so didnot feel that management would be available. This property was so unclean that we purchased cleaning supplies to make it comfortable. The bed coverings had not been cleaned in a while. There was dried food stains on everyone of them. We removed them and used only the sheets. The blankets were noy clean either. When we arrived the unit smelled of spoiled food until the goors were opened. This was by far the worst unit i have ever rented. I did not get very much value for my dollar.

Spring Break

Our stay was wonderful! Condo was more than we expected. Comfortable, plenty of space, loved the kitchen and the view was amazing! We will be booking here again!

Highly Overpriced

This is the third time I've stayed at The Shores Club. The first 2 units were beautiful -- exceeded my expectations. However, this was the worst unit by far that we ever rented there. Good Points: (1)View was beautiful (2) Laminate on the floors was very nicely done. (3) Unit was clean. Now, the Bad Points: (1) we couldn't use the coffee pot because it was so filthy. (2); there was only one ceiling fan and it was in the kitchen but it does not work.(3) the description says two showers -- however the shower in the master bath had no shower head. [I noticed there was also a complaint about this in April and still hadn't been fixed,] We called but it took 4 days to get a shower head installed, which took only 10 minutes to install. (4) kitchen appliances were very dated -- the refrigerator door didn't want to open -- So unappealing that we didn't want to prepare any food or eat there. (5) living room furniture was very, very dated -- and quite UNCOMFORTABLE -- the couch was a sleeper and you sunk to the floor when you'd sit on it. It was the most uncomfortable living room we've ever sat in. Since there was no TV in the guest bedroom, we had to watch TV in the living room -- which added to the discomfort. (6) the description said there was an iron but there was none -- we called and it took 2 days to get the iron. (6) Need a TV in the guest Room --- we had called about a TV and Tulsa said she thought she could get us one -- but we never got one nor heard back from Tulsa. (7) the curtains in the living are very broken an unhooked at the top -- also a dirty sport on the lower right bottom looking like feces; the curtains in the master bedroom were also broken. (8) the cleaning service left a dirty wash cloth on the towel rack in the master bathroom tub. (9) we had no laundry room key for two days. (10) where you go to get the keys is very awkward. I think this unit is overprice by about $500 a week! Very disappointing!

Great Vacation Time!!

Would highly recommend it to anyone, clean, quiet, it was stocked with what you need, the people we met were very friendly some lived there, others were renting, close to restaurants, stores, Publix close by no complaints whatsoever in fact we will be booking there again, peaceful an relaxing, the view was absolutely beautiful,
