Set in the gentle hills just a few kilometres from Montecarlo di Lucca, Villa Altavista lives up to its name from the very first glance. Here, the view is the main event: vineyards, olive groves and soft Tuscan ridges unfolding beyond the terrace, with the valley stretching out in the distance and the light changing beautifully throughout the day.

Recently refreshed with elegant new furnishings, the villa combines country warmth with a clean, contemporary feel. Inside, exposed wooden beams, soft neutral tones and generous windows create a relaxed, luminous atmosphere. The living spaces open naturally onto the outdoor terraces, making the house feel connected to the landscape at every hour — from breakfast in the morning sun to long dinners as the sky turns blue over the hills.



The panoramic swimming pool is one of the villa’s greatest pleasures. Set into the terraced garden and surrounded by loungers, it looks out across the countryside, giving the feeling of floating above the vineyards. There are several outdoor corners for reading, aperitifs, quiet conversation or simply doing very little, which is often the best possible plan here.

With three bedrooms and four bathrooms, Villa Altavista is well suited to families or small groups of friends looking for comfort, privacy and a scenic base in one of Tuscany’s most authentic wine areas. Montecarlo is known for its wine production and charming restaurants, while Lucca is within easy reach for an evening stroll, a cultural visit or dinner inside its Renaissance walls.

A note for families: due to the sloping terrace and panoramic outdoor levels, children under 10 are very welcome but should be supervised carefully at all times. Guests travelling with young children will be asked to sign a simple safety disclaimer before arrival, so everyone can enjoy the house with peace of mind.



Additionally, please note that the owner lives in the other half of the villa, in a different building with a separate entrance. By no means is our guests' privacy affected.
