Ocean Manor Beach Resort

This unit is located on the 6th floor and is a wonderful 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium. The condo has an incredible open private balcony, overlooking the Ocean Manor Resort's pool, and the Atlantic Ocean.

The condo is privately owned and managed and it is thoroughly cleaned before every check-in . The unit is tastefully furnished.

Parking is provided by a privately operated company. As of January 1, 2025 the cost is $ 18/day (these prices are subject to change without notice.

This condo has a light ceramic tile floor, and white walls. The condo is a bright unit, with large floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors out to the balcony. One of the bedrooms has a king sized bed, and the other bedroom has two full double beds. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have full bathrooms, and large closets.

The unit has three HD TVs, one in each bedroom, and one in the living room. There is a desk, and the unit has free high speed WIFI.

The full kitchen is fully stocked with a refrigerator, new dishwasher, oven, and microwave; plus all the pots, pans, plates, flatware, and glasses that you will need. The kitchen has wood cabinets and granite counters!
600 is one of the few units in the Ocean Manor with a new Samsung front load washer and dryer!

The private open balcony has an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean, overlooking the Ocean Manor's pool. It has a table and four chairs.

Down at the beach you will find the pool, Tiki Bar Restaurant and the beach :) You can rent beach lounge chairs and umbrellas or you can use the four chairs we have for you to bring down to the beach.

In the Lobby you can find a coffee shop, bank machine, gift shop, hair dressing & spa shop and an Italian restaurant. The prices are listed outside of the spa and restaurant.

Winn-Dixie, CVS, a variety of restaurants & souvenir shops are all within a 10 minute walk. McDonald's restaurant is just across the street from the main entrance.

The condo is approximately 1200 square feet (120 square meter), including the balcony.

The Ocean Manor is located at 4040 Galt Ocean Dr, Ft Lauderdale, FL. 33308 It is 10.9 miles from the Ft Lauderdale Airport (FLL) which is a 23 minute drive.
It is 36.4 miles from the Miami Airport (MIA) which is a 49 minute drive.

This condo is strictly NON-SMOKING, please. No pets. No parties. No exceptions.

This property is very run down. There is a smell in the whole building that was very unpleasant. My one son didn’t even want to stay due to the smell. The shower water was barely luke warm. I needed to clean with Clorox Wipes to feel a little cleaner. The windows for the view of the ocean were all foggy and you could not see well. I would never stay there again.

Balcony was small. Master bedroom had no windows or sliding glass door to let outside air in. View from master bedroom was gorgeous while lying in bed. We were hassled everyday about bringing our beach chair & sun shade to beach since they wanted to rent them to us. Lots of places to eat in walking distance

I LOVE that the communication with the host was via text message. Much easier than email. The air conditioner had an issue with leaking water and she send out maintenance quickly with text message to let me know the exact time of arrival.

We had everything we needed right on site. Loved the pool, tiki bar and resteraunt. Everyone was very friendly. We were close to all activities and attractions. We even witnessed baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean! Amazing sight! Everything was just perfect!

First time to Fort Lauderdale

This was our first time to Fort Lauderdale. The condo was great. We had an issue with the toliet when we first arrived. Christina was very response and had the maintenance man, Jorge come up right away to assist. We loved the pool and tiki bar. The Italian restaurant was delicious.

The resort was a tremendous location with a lot of in-house options. The views do not get any better and the place was perfect. Christina has top notch communication and is so nice to work with! Definitely recommend!

The unit is beautiful, updated, and a perfect location in the building with a view of the ocean and the pool/bar area. The communication with the owner was top-notch. Christina was attentive and helpful in every way. The resort itself had some stringent policies about coolers at the pool and beach, but this was mostly enforced on the weekends. The tiki bar was awesome. It was actually on an episode of "Bar Rescue" about 10 years ago (was cool to watch the episode after our stay) and the food and drink were top notch with some less expensive happy-hour options. Highlights of our trip included watching a hatchling sea turtle make his way to the shore, meeting UFC fighter C. McGregor training at the beach directly in front of our condo. Overall, it was a great trip, and we look forward to coming back.

Beach stay

We were not aware that the property has hotel rooms. We paid a premium for location and were surprised at the hotel clientele . The property/hotel staff were very nice . Check in process was a breeze .

Amazing Stay

This was a wonderful condo and exactly as described! It’s very large and had everything you could want! Another great perk was that Christina(owner) provided 4 beach chairs and towels! This made our days so much easier to just go right to the beach. We loved the tiki bar on site. It does get somewhat loud with the music at night on some nights, but not too bad. And, you don’t hear anything in th e condo. We will definitely rent here again. Also, the location can’t be beat. We didn’t have a car, and walked to Winn Dixie and to dinner at a local restaurant.

Fantastic Stay

Christine (owner) was fantastic! Lighting fast to return calls and fix ann item in the condo needing repair. Getting out of the freezing Midwest was nice. The condo is a good size with a washer and dryer in the master bedroom. Bathrooms are tight and the beds aged. Beach access is great with a tiki bar that serves topical bar food. The building is aged - oldest in Ft. Lauderdale so a pinch of salt is needed for the expectations.

Ocean Manor Experience

Property was very clean and nicely furnished, with plenty of space and a great view,. We would've appreciated a later check-out time, but were otherwise pleased with our experience.

We love Fort Lauderdale and have been searching for a long time to find a condo building that suited our lifestyle.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We fell in love with this building because of its fantastic location. Right on the beach :) and the idea that it is a condo hotel. Since the property is a condo hotel we can rent it out on a weekly basis and it does not sit empty while we are too busy to come for a holiday. We love the idea that we can share our place to relax with our guests when we are not here.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The condo is located on the Galt Ocean Mile which is directly on the beach. There is not a road or any obstruction between us and the ocean & beach. The beach & ocean just a short elevator ride down to the ground floor and a few steps away. In addition to having the beach right at your feet, if you are not into swimming in the ocean there is a wonderful heated pool with a Tiki bar.
There is a grocery store, lots of restaurants, CVS, liquor store and much much more all within a short walk. If you don't want to rent a car you can still easily enjoy your stay without a car. :)
