This beautifully updated home features modern touches throughout and a prime location, just a short walk from downtown Walla Walla and Whitman College. Whether youā€™re wine tasting in one of the 30+ downtown tasting rooms or adventuring in the Blue Mountain Country, youā€™re sure to have a memorable stay at this picturesque neighborhood home.

Such a great location! We loved listening to all the vintage vinyl on the easy to use turntable. Beds were comfortable. Wonderful towels and linens. Fireplace was nice to have. Recommend backing into the long driveway to make it easier to get onto the slightly busy street. Only one shower but with only three of us, it worked out fine. We had a wonderful weekend stay.

Great weekend getaway

We were there for a girls weekend, wine tasting, and visiting a kid in college. This was a perfect place to rest every night, great location walkable from main street, and we loved the memories that the record collection provided.

Alder House is a great place to stay - close to downtown

House was exactly as advertised. Cool record player that we really enjoyed. Plenty of off street parking and great fenced back yard and deck. One thing that would make it perfect - if checkout time could be flexed to 11am, not 10am

Great Property

Super location, well appointed, clean, comfy beds, easy checkin and checkout instructions. Fenced backyard for the dogs. We were in town visiting our son at Whitman, and this was a great choice, convenient to campus.

Fun family getaway!

We had a great time at the Alder House for a weekend of wine tasting with the family! We brought our two pups and especially loved the fenced in backyard. The location was amazing, just a 10 minute walk to Main Street downtown. Would definitely come again!

Beautiful House!

This house was perfect for our group of six! We had our two dogs with us so the fenced backyard was a major plus! Loved the record player, fireplace, and big living room/lounge area. Great location, close to downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute & very comfortable stay super close to downtown Walla Walla

My husband, two kids (3 & 5) and I stayed for 5 days and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The beds were very comfortable, there was plenty of space to spread out -- and for them to play. We utilized the well stocked kitchen and backyard during our stay and loved how close to downtown we were, we walked down several times. We would definitely stay again when we're back visiting family (and the wineries!). Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Family trip

We had 7 family members meet for a college graduation, coming from all over, plus 2 small dogs. The place was great, accurately advertised with 1 & 1/2 bath, was fine with d as one planning. The backyard was perfect for the 2 dogs to get their energy out. One of our members wishes she could buy the house, very cute, lots of character, plenty of parking. We were very happy there.

Family Christmas

5 of us stayed at the Alder Street House for a long Christmas weekend. The house is the home my mother grew up in. Mom, my sister and I, along with our partners, enjoyed spending 5 nights over Christmas in the home sharing Mom's memories and hosting my own 3 adult children at various times for meals and socializing. The large dining table and open spaces were excellent for these activities. With snow on the ground, we were not able to enjoy the outdoor seating but our dog appreciated the securely fenced back yard. My only recommendation would be, during winter weather the host might provide a snow shovel so guests could clear ice and snow from the porch steps and walkways. I would also caution guests to be aware that the single shower with a full house of adults can create a logistics problem. However, we were aware of this situation before making our reservation and chose this priory anyway because of the family history. All in all, it was a great stay. Thank you.

Clean, spacious, fun, and convenient

This house was clean and spacious for our group. Location was convenient and located close to downtown. Inside had great spaces for hanging out with our group in the evening to play cards, listen to music, and watch a movie. Beds were comfortable. Will definitely look to stay at this place again for our next visit to Walla Walla.

Fun Fall Weekend Stay

Wonderful Walla Walla Escape

My wife and I and our two pups had a great time. The home had everything we needed and the fenced backyard that had various shaded areas was awesome for sitting there and drinking wine while the pups played and lounged around. Plus it was so close to downtown that we could easily walk there to pick up dinner. The check-in process was fast and easy and Terri was always responsive to our questions prior to our visit. We would definitely recommend this place.

Wedding memories

We visited Wall Walla for my nieceā€™s wedding and her momma (my sister) stayed with us at this property and we felt completely at home. The home is so comfortable, clean and spacious and so close to everything!

Beautiful home, wonderful location

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this home! It was super clean, bigger than we expected, and very cozy (fireplace, games and puzzles, records available). The host even left a bottle of wine! It was just a couple blocks from campus and so we were able to walk to restaurants, wineries and the park for some pickleball. The yard was well maintained and so I felt very comfortable letting my dog play, without being worried she would get into something she shouldnā€™t. We hope to stay here again soon!
