Very nice friendly helpful hosts. Accommodation lovely and very clean. Enjoyed pool and overall, very family friendly. Great location for visiting D Day Beaches and museums and to enjoy Normandy coast and inland. Highly recommend!

Ideal property for me as I have limited mobility the bathroom especially was perfect for my requirements. The pool was great but access might be a little tricky for people with limited mobility as it is has a step. The owners were lovely, very friendly and helpful especially when the consierge service who were meant to greet us did not show up they were very happy to show us around. The location is very convenient for the beach and a very good restaurant/bar is only a few minutes walk. There is an excellent boulangerie a 15-20minute walk away where you will also find a small but well stocked supermarche. I would recommend this property and the owners.

Staying at this delightful property was the best experience of this type of holiday we have ever had. From excellent communication prior to trip, arrival through to departure, nothing could have been improved. The owners were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The arrival gifts, UK TV and perfect swimming pool were the icing on the cake. For dog owners, all very dog friendly with a large and fully secure garden and 300m eassy walk to beach. We will difinately revisit.

Fantastic !

We are 4 adults with 1 disabled adult . This is a great accessible cottage . Swimming pool is a bonus 👌 Would recommend for all including familys Well equipped, everything you need . Perfectly located next to the British DDay memorial. Would definatly stay again .

Very good - all facilities, conveniently located

Perfect for the four of us - 3 adults and a 2 year old. House convenient to everywhere we wanted to visit. Warm when needed. All cooking / cleaning facilities available. Hosts who live upstairs greeted us generously and were available if needed.

Very nice property

We had wanted to visit the British memorial at Ver-sur-Mer and found this property on VRBO. It was exactly as described, clean and well presented. It would be ideal for people with reduced mobility as it is on one level with a generously sized accessible bathroom. The sea is only a short walk away, and the memorial is close by.The concierge service was especially good, and Dominique was an exemplary host. We would happily recommend this property for couples or families as an ideal place to stay in this area.

Fantastic location

The lower portion of the home is where we stayed while the owner was in the upper portion. It was perfect for our needs with 3 beds and 2 washrooms. The location was perfect for seeing all the WW2 D-Day beaches and a short drive to so many other sites and museums! We were ther for 5 days and had more we could have done. The home was well equipped with enough towels for all 4 of us, shower gel and a nice welcoming basket with local apple juice, pear cider and biscuits (cookies). All were very delicious!

Great accommodations on the beaches of Normandy

We were in France visiting our exchange student and traveled to visit the beaches of Normandy. Catherine's home is beautiful.You have access to a lovely garden were we sat outside and had dinner an played cards. The lower floor of the home is all yours with 2 large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. It is well cared for and decorated with love. We had a great time in Normandy and this was the perfect place. I would recommend it to anyone traveling through the area!

Wonderful property , great location.

We spent a week here visiting the D Day beaches . The property is in a wonderful location and there is so much to see in the surrounding areas, such a beautiful part of France. The property itself was more than we had hoped for, my husband is in a wheelchair and the accessibility was really good, a ramped entrance and plenty of room to move around easily inside the living area , bedroom and huge wet room.. The owners are a lovely couple who live in the upper part of the property’, they were very helpful and friendly. They had thought of everything , the property is very well equipped and spotlessly clean., we also had a welcome basket of local cider, apple juice and biscuits. There is a lovely heated indoor swimming pool and just a short stroll across the road is gold beach where you can walk for miles, there’s also a really good restaurant in the village, but you do need to book . We really enjoyed our stay here and are planning to go back again. Highly recommended.

Good location to explore Normandy

This is a well located property to visit the attractions of Normandy. Whilst there we were able to easily access the D Day beaches, Mont St Michel, Bayeaux and Caen. Guests can easily walk to a local restaurant if home cooking is not for you. The property has off street parking and with two bathrooms and suits couples travelling together. The host was polite and friendly. Potential guests should check beforehand regarding a substantial security deposit as this was required of us at checkin.....although this was reduced when we couldn’t readily assemble so much cash. We were not aware of this requirement until we arrived st the property. Guests also should bring any consumables such as condiments, cleaning materials, disinfectant, dish washing liquid, cooking oil, tea and coffee as these were not available. Even toilet paper was quite limited. This is a nice, older style property but guests should come well prepared.

I allow myself to answer your comment on my cottage. First concerning the deposit requested, it appeared on the quote provided by Abritel during your booking, moreover I reminded you when I replied to your email asking me to have the opportunity to pay the balance of your rental in cash on arrival.On the other hand, you rented my accommodation and not bed and breakfast where I provide in each room tea, coffee, milk, mineral water and cupcakes. breakfast in the morning. In your case it was only a simple rental. I remind you that in my rental there was provided the linen with the beds made upon your arrival, tea towels, napkins and towels in each bathroom with two small soaps and two small baths shower in each bathroom. There were two rolls of toilet paper in each toilet and this for 4 days. You had dish soap and a sponge near the sink. It is not usual in a rental in France to also provide groceries. At your arrival a welcome basket was waiting for you with a bottle of cider, one of perry and shortbread of the region. I hope to have provided enough information for future rentals that you could do France in the future and hoping that you have benefited from our region.

Die Ferienwohnung ist toll gelegen, in einem kleinen Ort direkt am Meer. Trotz der Lage ist Ver-sur-mer kein überlaufener Touristenort, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat.Die Ferienwohnung entsprach der Beschreibung. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, auch mit einem kleinen Präsentkorb (vielen Dank dafür). Die Wohnung war sehr ordentlich und mit Liebe für's Detail eingerichtet. Alles, was wir benötigten, war vor Ort. Das großzügige Gartengelände durften wir nutzen. Der Indoor-Pool hat uns großen Spaß gemacht.Es gibt sehr wenige Kritikpunkte. Die alten Holzmöbel müffeln ein wenig nach Vergangenheit, das muss nicht jeder mögen. Auf den Betten konnten wir nicht optimal schlafen, aber das ist vielleicht eine Frage der Gewohnheit.Checkin/Checkout sind über eine Conciergerie organisiert. Der Empfang klappte gut (Telefonanruf 15 Minuten vor Ankunft). Für den Checkout muss man am Tag zuvor telefonisch die Abreisezeit melden. Als wir am späten Nachmittag anriefen, war niemand erreichbar. Hier wäre ein besprechbarer Anrufbeantworter (mehrsprachig!) und/oder ein E-Mail-Kontakt wünschenswert. Die Firma war am Abreisetag erst 9 Uhr erreichbar. Dort war man sauer, dass wir eine halbe Stunde später abreisen wollten. Die Firma scheint keinen Überblick über die Vermietung der betreuten Wohnungen zu haben, denn bis 11 Uhr muss man abgereist sein.Das ist ein Kritikpunkt, der an die Firma geht, nicht an die Vermieter, die stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit waren!Danke für einen tollen Urlaub!
