Big Horn Penthouse Residence With Great Views Of Village & Gondola

This Village penthouse residence is just steps from the Northstar gondola, ski-back and "The Beach" ski school meeting area. Waking up in the morning you will enjoy views of the Village at Northstar, gondola and nearby mountains. Sit on the deck at the end of the day and watch the skiers/riders coming down from the mountain. Inside you will find your vacation home with a warm and inviting mountain theme.

This comfortable luxury unit features a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, spacious bathroom with separate shower and bathtub and two sink vanity, large living room with a queen size Comfort Sleep sofa sleeper (this sleeps 2 and is very comfortable), and a King bed in the master suite. The modern kitchen is equipped with granite countertops, a convection oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker (right now there is only a K-cup coffee maker), blender, and cooking & eating utensils. Relax in the evening in front of the push-button to start gas fireplace or watch a movie on the large screen LED TV with enhanced sound system. Later enjoy a second large screen TV located in the bedroom. Inside of the unit are large capacity energy efficient washer and dryer. Also enjoy amenities including free high-speed wireless Internet, cable TV with large flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom.

A short ride down the elevator and you are in the Village at Northstar with its wealth of restaurants, shops, skating rink, movie theaters, access to the Ritz via their own gondola, and evening activities. Eat in, eat out or order take-out; all are equally easy. Eliminating the need to haul equipment around, there is a large private ski locker at the building entrance on ground level with comfortable seating to allow you to ā€œsuit-upā€ in the morning.

With parking in the heated garage you will no longer need to shovel snow off of your car or scrape ice from the windows. There is easy access to the fitness facility with showers, steam sauna, weight room with the latest generation of equipment including treadmills and ellipticals with integrated TVs. Relax in one of the two hot tubs or enjoy the nearby swimming pool at the Village Swim & Fitness Center. Free access to guests to all of these facilities. It includes a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, a stone gas fireplace, dining table for four, a king size bed in the master bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa (very comfortable!) in the living room. You can enjoy the large screen TV in both the living room and bedroom. Absolutely NO-SMOKING & NO PETS allowed in the condo.

The host was very welcoming, and the unit was in good condition and pretty well stocked. Since we eat in it would be nice to have some small salad plates in addition to the bowls which were great. The location is excellent and the penthouse with high ceilings makes it seem larger. Great to have so many charging cords and stations. The bed and bedding could be upgraded - a little too soft for our comfort. And a little heavier bath towels. When checking in make sure the room key cards work. In our case they were all expired and I had to walk back (not close) and obtain new ones. All in all a very comfortable place to stay especially when the weather was not so good and the snow less than great as it was when we were there.

Beautiful

The condo was clean and very comfortable, loved the balcony although it could use a taller table to eat outside or play a game possibly. There was a lot to see in the village once everything opened. Very close to downtown Truckee. We had a great time and will definitely revisit

The condo was perfect for our 4 night stay. We arrived on a Tuesday and the village was very quiet. It was much busier by the time we left on Saturday morning. The Swim & Fitness Center is very convenient and a great plus - especially for any lap swimmers. The small market/cafe in the village was super convenient for any needs. The condo itself is beautiful, with lots of convenient amenities (including phone chargers at each bedside table!). Definitely recommend!

Incredible stay at Northstar Village

My wife and I spent Christmas at Bethā€™s property and it was incredible! We had everything we needed, the space was very clean, and the access to the Big Springs Gondola and Northstar Village could not be beat. Amazing stay, would definitely come back!

Perfect location, thoughtful rental

We loved our stay at this property. The communication with the owner was very easy and helpful. Arrival was seamless. The rental was well appointed with thoughtful touches like bedside chargers on both sides with multiple fittings. Instructions and recommendations were provided and easily accessible. We didn't have the time to use the summer amenities like the pool and fitness center but having the access/opportunity is a major plus - as would the ski lockers be in winter. The location is incredible. We will happily return!
