It's conveniently located between the towns of Washington, Kent, New Preston and Litchfield. You can find many great local restaurants, taverns, wineries and antique stores. During the summer, exploring the beautiful lakes and state parks is a must on your to-do list.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen with all new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a formal dining room. It also has a large living room with built in bookshelves, and a wood-burning fireplace. Large master bedroom with bath and the additional 2 full bedrooms (along with the second full bathroom) make this house comfortable for six, but can accommodate up to eight. Outside stands a 2-door garage, which can hold 2 cars with automatic closing doors, and a blue stone patio with a beautiful grill for you to use.

What I appreciate so much about staying here is how wonderful the host is. Always responsive. Always accommodating. Krystian has been the best possible host for each of our staysā€¦and we plan to come back when we are in this area next year as we do an annually for a family get together.The space is great for families with its many books and games that the host has provided. A large kitchen and clean bathrooms have always add to the comfort of our annual stays. Finally, we love getting together in the evening in the spacious and comfortable family room. So many good memories.

Short trip to CT

Came for the garlic festival and antique shopping. Perfect location and everything was just what we expected. If we come for garlic festival next year this is where I want to stay.

A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Krystianā€™s place! The house is wonderful, welcoming and warm. It was very clean, fully equipped, included many special touches and the beds were very comfy. The host was easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this property and appreciate the time we had there.

A lovely pleasant stay

The house was really nice, plenty of room for 6 adults an baby and a dog! Location, while on a busy road, was set back so not really noisy. Convenient to Hopkins Vineyard, Kent falls brewery and more. House had everything we needed and when we needed propane for grill, owner Krzysztof brought some right away. Would stay here again!

Peaceful and Serene!

Close to new milford and Washington, this is easy to find with great instructions. The beds were incredibly comfortable with plenty of room throughout the entire property. The amount of space here is perfect. There are board games, TV, and great views if you just like to enjoy nature. Great lighting throughout the house and b outside. Plenty of good reading spots. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with appliances, utensils, plates, cups, towels, soaps, etc. The owners have everything set up to be easy and convenient. Overall, a great stay. 5 stars.

Excellent property convenient to lItchfield, bantam, Kent, Cornwall

Very nicely renovated house. Clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Large comfy living and dining room. Very responsive hosts. Only suggestion would be to provide a few more hooks in the bathrooms for guests to hang personal things (night clothes, used towels, etc.). I would highly recommended this place.

Comfortable home, quiet setting

We had a relaxing getaway in this perfect-sized home that was completely modernized In all rooms, including Kitchen, two baths, Bedrooms and all living areas. It was well equipped, and everything worked the way it was supposed to. The host imeddiately provided any extra supplies we needed and offered advice on places to go. We even paid a little extra to charge our electric vehicle there overnight so we never had to find a charging station. There is a general store nearby and all other restaurants and grocery stores are within a 20-minute drive. We did lots of hiking - recommend Waramaug Rock Trail in New Preston

Lime Rock Race weekend

We had an excellent time in your home. The only wrinkle was the stand up shower in the second bedroom had no hot water. It would give you a little warm water after awhile then go cold again. Otherwise, the house was perfect, clean and well appointed. We would definitely come back!

A Perfect Home Away From Home

We just returned from a wonderful stay at a VRBO that truly felt like a home away from home! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners genuinely care about their property and the experience of their guests. Communication was prompt, helpful, and incredibly responsive, making our check-in process a breeze. Nestled on a beautiful wooded lot, the house greeted us with a pristine cleanliness that set the tone for our stay. The spacious bedrooms were a pleasant surpriseā€”plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had everything we needed for family meals, including a large table for gathering and a breakfast bar perfect for our teen who wanted to enjoy their meals with headphones on. We also loved the thoughtful touches throughout the home, which made our stay even more comfortable. The large TVs were a hit, and the cozy nook provided an excellent spot for setting up a mobile office when needed. Plus, having a washer and dryer on-site was a game changer for our extended stay. One of the unique highlights was the huge unfinished but super clean basement, complete with a ping pong table! It provided endless entertainment for the whole family. Overall, this VRBO was the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and fun. We can't recommend it highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Weā€™ll Be Coming Back

Our stay was excellent in every way. Our host Krystian has created a beautiful, comfortable, and clean home with all the modern amenities; and was consistently prompt and helpful in our communicator (quick to respond through the Vrbo messaging system). Clear directions to the house and how to gain access made our arrival an easy one. Upon entering and doing a quick tour of the premises, my daughter and I kept saying the same thing: ā€œThis is such a nice place and perfect for our family.ā€ Even my two-year-old grandson was thrilled upon finding a box of Legos to play with. There is plenty of space in three nicely sized bedrooms that have both closets and dressers; two bathrooms; and an extremely well-arranged main area. The living room was so comfortable! We never had to fiddle with the heat. The indoor temperature was comfortable upon our arrival and stayed that way during the entire stay. Bathroom towels were ample and plush; plenty of pillows and comfortable bedding; and anything we needed for cooking was easy to find. Bonus features: Plenty of room for parking Water delivery service Ping-pong table in the basement Grill and seating in the private back yard All sorts of minor kitchen appliances (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pull-out trash compartment) in addition to the big three of fridge, dishwasher, and electric range. In short, we a truly great stay, a friendly and accommodating host, and a place weā€™ll return to for our annual Connecticut visit. Bonnie

Great house

We had a wedding at Club Gateway this weekend and this house was 5 miles away. House is VERY SPACIOUS and the backyard was perfect for our dog to run around in. Would definitely come back and stay again.

Wonderful home in the woods

Great home tucked into the edge of the woods, a short drive to Kent and Litchfield/Bantam. The home was supplied with all of the necessities and the owners were incredibly responsive. We enjoyed the daily walks through the forest at nearby parks and preserves. And the backyard visits from local wildlife were an unexpected bonus.

Bridal Party Stay

A very modern and comfortable space. Perfect for getting ready for my wedding at a nearby winery. Host was responsive but gave us our privacy as well. Easy to find from the road; highly recommended!
