Bluebird Valley Farmhouse

Bluebird Valley Farmhouse is handicap accessible on the ground floor with a full roll in shower , bathroom. A master bedroom with a king sized bed and closet . Large sitting room with a 60" tv adjacent.
The kitchen is in the center of the house with a sun filled dining room on the south side with 180 ' views with a casual sitting area .
A study with a washer and dryer are all located on the ground floor .
Upstairs there are three more bedrooms with two queen sized beds and one set of twins along with another tv play room. A full bathroom .
Outside the kitchen there is a gas grill with a cafe table and three chairs. On the rear deck there are two rattan chairs small table and picnic chairs .

This home is a great spot in The Berkshires. This is our second stay here and both were excellent. The home is well appointed - very comfortable to make your own meals however for dining out we did Willa's and Woodlands - both excellent. A wonderful walk to lake on the property and lots of great activities near by. I highly recommend!!

The bluebird farmhouse was perfect for our trip. Our group had 4 adults and 3 young children. The house had more than enough room to accommodate everyone. The house was stocked with anything you could need, and the host even dropped off a pie and some coffee for our arrival. The yard was spacious, gas grill available for grilling and the fire pit area was great for an evening of Smores. The house was beautifully decorated inside and out. We’d highly recommend this house for a relaxing stay in the Hudson valley area.

We have stayed at this fabulous property 4 times in the last 4 years.We plan on returning for the 5th time again next summer.I can’t say enough good things, we love the home and the beautiful property the home is on.The owner is one in a million.Whenever we stay at this property we never want to leave.

very special and comfortable home!

We had a relaxing stay - 3 good friends gathering from 3 different states over holiday weekend. Enjoyed the gorgeous home. Loved the rails to trails path, which we walked 35 mins into adorable Millerton (great shops and restaurants) and would recommend bringing bikes to really get around! Loved Lakeville and the lake. restaurants - willa and the black rabbit - super yummy food, lots of veggie options too. Thank for for a lovely, lovely stay!

Wedding weekend

We enjoyed our stay. It was everything and more than the listing said. Margaret was very responsive to our inquiries and available if we needed her. The Bluebird Valley Farmhouse was very comfortable. It offered areas for group activities and quiet areas for those of us needing some down time. The grounds were beautiful and offered varied sitting areas. We highly recommend this place.

Great Property!

We were there for my son's senior formal weekend at Salisbury School. The home is located about 15 minutes from the school. The house and host were fantastic. The only minor issue we had was there was no A/C installed in the house and it was a warm weekend. The owner apologized and said it was to be installed at a later date. we opened windows and found a couple of fans in closets.

A Fabulous Farmhouse

If ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at Bluebird Farmhouse. It is so charming with wonderful artwork throughout this warm and comfortable home. A beautiful setting with a very well equipped home providing everything you need. We were in town for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this special farmhouse!!

Third time we stayed at this amazing property

The property is absolutely amazing. It’s quite large for 2 people, but it’s perfect for us. The home is as clean as clean can be. The decor is lovely. The home is set on a very large lot that is meticulously maintained. We have access to Indian Lake which is fine for swimming,fishing or boating. We head out after spending almost 2 weeks here. I let the property owner know we will return again next summer.

Out of State Salisbury Graduation Attendance

The check in process was seamless and the directions were clear. The home is well kept. Every possible need we had from utensils to cooking pots and pans to spices to firewood was available. The home is absolutely beautiful and well thought out. The host has absolutely paid attention to every detail. We loved the way the house allowed for everyone to gather in the different sitting areas but also had pocket doors to separate rooms as needed. The grounds were also beautiful and the light was ample and views beautiful from every room. We were delighted to find the welcome goodies in the fridge and the thoughtful graduate gift left for us. We all came in from 4 different states. We all loved it and would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying here. We used this as a base for weekend skiing in the Berkshires. Beautiful house. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Especially loved the fire pit after a day of skiing.

The perfect country home

We had the most wonderful stay at Margaret's home - it's peaceful, beautifully decorated, comfortable - and her personal touches for us went above & beyond. Wish we had more than just 2 nights to enjoy it. We will absolutely stay again next time we're in the area!
