Sweet, cozy, private apartment

I loved this rental. A one-bedroom that feels spacious. The place was spotless when I arrived. Check-in was easy-peasy. Upstairs neighbors and occasional noise was minimal and didnā€™t disturb me. The place is super private, and has a lovely backyard space that I enjoyed in nice weather. I stayed for a month and would definitely return.

Nice place

Overall, this was a very nice place a very great location and well-kept. We are VRBO enthusiasts, and there was a couple of things that couldā€™ve made it a little bit better like clocks. A lamp in the living room. A box of Kleenex. Itā€™s funny how some of the little things matter but those are cheap investments that would go a long way, but thank you very much.

The property is a bottom floor unit. If the unit above is rented you hear every foot step they make. You can actually hear every word they speak. We were woke up every morning at around 5 a.m. by the people staying in the unit above. Sadly enough the owner is aware of the issue and promises to remedy the problem but hasn't yet. Yet he continues to rent both units on the same dates.

Great location and responsiveness of owner

Our place was great. It was the bottom unit so there was a little noise from above but not terrible. Had a slight plumbing issue that was taken care of immediately with no disruption to our stay at all. Owners responded immediately. Place very cute and great location.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Within walking distance to OCC .

Everything in this apartment was in great condition. All necessary utensils were provided. Very clean & well decorated. Some noise from above apartment, but not bad. Small amount of coffee, coffee filters, flour & sugar provided. Also a nice spice rack. We'll happily stay here again in the future.

Very Convenient Location

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City. This apartment provided an outstanding location to visit Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, Cog Railway to the Summit of Pikes Peak, Glen Eyre Castle (Hotel), Broadmoor Hotel, US Olympic Training Center Museum, Phantom Canyon and Cripple Creek. The apartment was extremely clean and well equipped. The only drawback was the noise from the apartment above. I would suggest to the owner to install thick carpet to reduce noise.

Overall good, but VERY thin walls

First the good: The property is in a great location and was very clean. It was decorated very nicely and came very well stocked with necessities. The bad: the unit is a triplex and the walls are VERY thin. We literally could hear every word that was spoken by the people in the other units. It was like they were in the next room. I mean we literally could hear every word. The listing did say there could be some noise if the other units are rented. We heard everything.

Fantastic apartment, perfect location

This little gem is so well located, easy to walk to old CO Springs and explore. The apartment has all that you need, for cooking and enjoying the patio out back.

Very nice

This was very nice. We were a family of 4; 2 kids, 2 adults. We did bring an air mattress so the kids could sleep alone. The address was a little confusing at first, but we figured it out. All around lovely place.

Delightful!

Can't brag enough about this property and our stay. We had some travel snafus and David was understanding, accommodating, and helpful; thank you, David! The only downside to this property is the stairs - the top 3 steps are a tad treacherous - otherwise, it's clean, decorated beautifully, bed was comfortable, and it had every single thing we needed in a rental home. We loved the little patio! The house is a little tricky to find, but like that it's off the beaten path. Great trip, great place to stay!!

Hikers Stay

We enjoyed the property and stayed for a short time in order to hike in the local area. Access into the property was easy once we arrived. However, it was difficult to locate the property initially from the address that was listed. It would have been helpful to add that you needed access off 27th into a gravel road (W bijou st). It was a well kept and updated property that is perfect for a quick get away.

Clean, modern, convenient location, affordable

Completely remodeled 1-bedroom in a convenient location, with easy access to downtown, I-25, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods, restaurants, grocery shopping, pharmacy, and more. The unit was comfortable and clean, with a full, newly-remodeled kitchen with a smooth-top stove, granite counter tops, & all the dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. you need. The building is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of many restaurants and lots of shops and art galleries in Old Colorado City. Comfortable king-size bed, sofa bed, outdoor patio with furniture and BBQ grill, in-unit washer and dryer. The owner responded promptly to questions. I stayed for three weeks to attend training at the Barnett Bicycle Institute, which is less than a mile away. I would recommend this location.
