One-third of the lake is forever wild and features a 1,600 acre state park that is great for hiking and exploring. The lake is stocked annually with a variety of fish including rainbow and lake trout, large and small mouth bass. Perch and rock bass naturally abound so there is great fishing for the kids too. You are only an hour's drive from the high peaks region and 50 min. from some of the best white-water rafting in the US.

Completely refurbished in '05, this traditional Adirondack log cabin has a cozy kitchen with all the amenities, a charming and bright great room with hand-hewn beams, a fieldstone fireplace, antique and leather mission furniture, oriental rugs, and a glassed and screened area for dining and games. With 4 knotty-pine bedrooms, it sleeps up to 10 in beds, with room for two more on a pull-out couch. The waterfront features a hand-laid stone and wooden deck with terraced steps right to the water level, a children's wading area, and a wood-fired, cedar hot tub, just a few feet from the water's edge. It is a peaceful and private setting nestled in a pristine cove on a truly beautiful lake.

Coverage applies to unintentional damage only and does not include intentional damage, theft, smoking/pet violations, or excessive cleaning. All damages must be reported during your stay to qualify (full details in the rental agreement).
