Your Next Cozy Escape 1BR New Cabin near Cheyenne Crossing/Spearfish Canyon!

Looking for that cozy place for you and up to 3 more friends/family? Look no more as the ā€˜Barnā€™ is the perfect spot for smaller groups. Located at the South end of Spearfish Canyon and walking distance to Cheyenne Crossing, youā€™ll enjoy paved road access but still have plenty of privacy. Your next home away from home is on an open lot with plenty of parking for trailers filled with your snowmobiles and ATVs and easy access to the local trail systems. You also get access to the garage during the Sturgis Bike Week! There is no access to the garage except for during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in early August.

Inside this newly built Barn, you'll find a modern kitchen, a comfortable living area, one bedroom, and a full bathroom. The bedroom has a queen bed, and we do have a queen sized air mattress for the living room. You'll enjoy this space while on your next vacation!

While on your travels, you can be in Deadwood in 15 minutes, Spearfish in 20 minutes, Sturgis in 30 minutes and down to see Mount Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer in just under an hour. There are smooth roads through the trees with wondrous views in all directions while endless adventures await. Feel like a little golf? Lead Country Club is 5 minutes from the property, and local fly fishing is practically out your door! Come stay at the Barn and know what it feels like to live in the Black Hills on your next vacation.

We LOVED our stay at ā€œThe Barnā€! This is the second time my husband and I have been blessed with the opportunity to stay at this wonderful rental, this stay was extra special as we had our two littles with us. We love how close the rental is to Lead and Deadwood- and perfect proximity to Cheyenne Crossing and Spearfish Canyon! My husband and I love the road where the barn is located, both times we have stayed we have so enjoyed walking and enjoying the beauty of the area. Very cosy and well kept rental, we are very grateful for another wonderful stay. We highly recommend this beautiful ā€œbarnā€!

Location was perfect for what we had planned to do. Clean, had all the amenities we needed. We didnā€™t grill but the propane tanks were empty. Definitely would recommend friends and family to stay at The Barn.

Loved the location!

Location was perfect for us....quiet area in the evenings away from the tourist hot-spots and close to the areas we wanted to explore this trip. Interior is decorated nicely and was extremely clean. We spent most evenings sitting outside on the patio area soaking in the beautiful view of the pines. Two things that caused me to rate overall at 4 stars instead of 5: Mattress is way past its prime and needs to be replaced, and the wifi is weak at best, sometimes not working at all.

Very clean with excellent parking. Snow removal was prompt and done each day. The only negative I have is the listing stated "extra bed" It was an air mattress. That should be cleared up on the listing. Overall very good and I would strongly recommend this for a couple.

Pleasure/Hiking trip

The property was JUST as advertised. Amazingly clean and updated, very well cared for! We were close to tons of hiking trails and a fun little diner in Cheyenne Crossing. We absolutely LOVED our stay, 100%!!! GREAT HOME!!!! The only complaint we would have is that there was no connection (to ANYTHING) when we got there. Our daughter had a massive college assignment to turn it, so we tried to get in touch with the manager from the cafe and only got back a "too busy to talk" text message and never heard from them again. That was disappointing, but the internet seemed to come in just a bit the next day.

Small but sweet

This little cabin was a wonderful place for us on this short trip. It was very clean! We were riding our ATVs all day, so we really didnā€™t need a lot of space to chill. We saw deer in the yard every morning. The kitchen was well-appointed, though the can opener needs to be replaced. We appreciated that there were plenty of bath towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. The mattress seems a bit worn, but Iā€™ve slept on worse. Another thing I want to be sure to mention is the front door automatically locks. Fortunately, the first time it happened, one of us was inside, while the other two were unloading the vehicles, so we didnā€™t get locked out.
