Oceanview, Ocean Queen, was a beautiful property by the beach. The house accommodated our party of 10 with ample room for gathering, and making lasting memories. The beach decor and ocean front property were relaxing, well cared for, and just what we had hoped for our trip. The VRBO was very clean and stocked with the necessary kitchen items which made it possible to prepare meals and enjoy family dining. A possible suggestion would be to have a one day offering of coffee, creamer, and sugar. This would help those with night time late arrivals, as ours was due to airline delays. Overall we would give the Ocean Queen an excellent rating. We highly recommend a trip to Tybee Island with a stay at the Ocean Queen!

Awesome!

It was perfect for us with the best views from the multiple decks. Lots to see and do in the area. Great beach. Even got a glimpse of some dolphins as we watched from the upper deck area

Great unit for a family vacation.

The house is great. There were only 9 of us, so there was an abundance of space. The views are amazing. We really liked the neighbors. They made us feel at home.

Great Getaway

Great property. Lots of space. Bedroom layout is nice and all are spacious. Quieter section of the beach but less than 10 minutes to restaurants and shopping. Plan to rent again

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was fully stocked better then my kitchen at home, nice linens were provided. house was very clean. We had issues w.the wifi network & the office came over to address it promptly fixing the issue for us. I loved that we were able to use some beach toys & chairs I assume left behind by other guest, we did not have room to bring ours so it worked out perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room, We grilled out several days, enjoyed local shops, toured the lighthouse nearby. The condo is nicely laid out, & in a beautiful location. The beach in front of the condo was almost empty, maybe a handful of people besides us would be on it each day. The views from the condo are amazing. Having the option to use the hot tub was nice although the weather was a bit to hot for that. Hottub was clean&read for use. The beds are nice and soft. The only complaint & it is at no fault of host - the master bath tub needs to be cleaned properly because it has air jets it has drain nats in it (this is from lack of use, overtime, water sitting in the air jets can start to build a biofilm that will produce drain nats) I notified the host and I am sure it will be addressed. We would most def return to this location again. The island is a beautiful place much nicer than we anticipated. We stayed 8days 7 Nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay...

Amazing Home!Great for Families

This home is amazing and our whole family enjoyed the beautiful beach and culture of Savannah. With 4 stories of rooms we were able to enjoy each other and have seclusion for little ones who needed naps. Our family had a reunion and we were able to thoroughly enjoy each other, plenty of room for dining in, plenty of room for fun card games, Property management was aware of minor appliance problems and fixed promptly when informed. Overall Great experience, highly recommend this property.

beach perfect

we loved everything about our stay except all the stairs! also sharing the back patio with the other 2 units getting to the beach kept our dogs on alert. the kitchen was pretty well stocked except for serving dishes. lots of pots and pans, utensils, etc. great location for beach, groceries and Savannah.

Great location, Tybee is great! House needs help.

All dishes and pots and pans were dirty and the shower in the guest room on second floor does not work. Lots of steps.

Hi Marilyn. Thank you for reviewing Ocean Queen. I have already spoken with housekeeping about the dishes to ensure they are completely clean for all guests. The shower just has to be turned on the right way. The handle is a little different than others. This home does have steps. Hope you can come back to Tybee!

Mixed messages

Great property on a quiet part of the beach but you are not renting from an owner. You go through a rental company. On the listing at the time, it said pet friendly without listing any restrictions or cost. It also stated two different things about the beds in the basement. After I pointed this out it was said that it would be corrected. Also, I called the management company and left a message as well as texting with no response. It wasn’t worth it to pursue any more clarification since we were already there, but we will not use again in the future.

Nice Property - Could Use a Little Refresh

Overall, we had a nice stay at this lovely property. The location is really good - just off the beach, which we enjoyed. The space is as described - lots of rooms (many en suite) which made it really nice for our two families to spread out and have space. Just a note that this is really a townhome (shared outdoor walkway with two other units), and there are lots of stairs inside the unit. The house itself could use a little sprucing. It was not particularly well stocked relative to other VRBO homes we've rented. Our biggest issue was that there were no blackout curtains, or even a basic attempt to block out the light in the bedrooms facing the ocean. The sun would blast in through the very thin drapery every morning. Make sure you bring eye masks if you stay here. Additionally, there were several items that were damaged/broken. A few of the dining chairs were pretty rickety - and one was simply broken and unuseable - which we learned the hard way. The kitchen cabinet doors are a little wonky, and the kitchen faucet was a bit broken as well (though we could still use it - no problem). So overall, a nice stay, but the property definitely needs a little upgrade.

Our maintenance staff the items you told us about. there is a new kitchen faucet, fixed dining room chairs. We can reach out to the owner about whether or not they want to get black out curtains. That is a great suggestion but others prefer to wake up to the oceanfront view of the ocean. Thank you again for your feedback. We will take it to the owner to make their home even better!

Hail to the Ocean Queen!

This home was perfect for our family get together. We enjoyed the large open kitchen and living space with plenty of room to cook, eat, and hang out. The covered deck overlooking the beach has big comfy furniture to chill and listen to the waves. The ocean views are amazing from almost every room. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have privacy. We enjoyed the sauna on the deck with a fantastic view of the ocean. The location on north beach is perfect. It’s fun to watch the cargo ships coming and going. Truly a wonderful experience for our family get away.

Great location

This property is in a great location, right on the north end of the island and in a very quiet location. We enjoyed watching the ships enter and exit the harbor. Great views of the ocean from all bedrooms and the living room and kitchen.

Great Family Time

This was an amazing place to stay! The view is amazing. There was a small appliance that wasn't working when I arrived and I sent a text to the owner and they had a new one to us in a very short time.

Beautiful Weekend

Such a lovely home with plenty of space for a big family or a couple families.... right on the beach.... beautiful views.... Couldnt ask for more except a later check out on the night that you loose an hour.. lol

Got the job done

Hard to tell from the pictures that it’s not a full house and showed under the full house listings. It actually more of a duplex. But there was still plenty of space and the neighbors were cool so it wasn’t an issue.
