THERE ARE 3 BEDROOMS ON THE MIDDLE FLOOR - ALL WITH ENSUITE BATHROOMS. (TWO of those rooms are KING beds) The 3d bedroom on the middle Floor is two sets of bunk beds.
TWO BEDROOMS UPSTAIRS OFF KITCHEN - SHARE UPSTAIRS BATHROOM. One bedroom is a queen bed with a bunk bed set for small children., The other bedroom has a king bed with a bunk bed set for Children.

Master Bedroom #1: KING 'CAPTAINS ROOM' - sleeps 4 (2 in King Bed) and (2 on full size futon) with large ensuite bathroom and private deck attached.
Master Bedroom #2 KING 'SAILORS ROOM' - sleeps 2 IN KING BED, plus single futon at foot of bed. Plus external cots or mats.
Grandma's Room upstairs: Just off elevator QUEEN PLUS TWIN Bunks sleeps 4
Bunk Room: DOUBLE bed, and SINGLE double BUNK with pull out trundle. - sleeps 6 with ensuite bathroom.
Great Room: double Hide-a-bed in couch - 2 in great room.
PORCH ROOM off kitchen - 1 King Bed, and 2 twins, bunk-- sleeps four.

Marble Floors in Entry. New in 2023 LVP floors throughout all living areas except porch room. Kitchen has double convection ovens, double trash cans. Master Bath has dual vessel sinks. THREE COVERED PORCHES (These are often referred to in glowing terms in our reviews) 5th bedroom off Kitchen is surrounded by Windows and catches ocean breezes. Also has private A/C and Heat.
Kitchen and Living area have vaulted ceilings and are surrounded by Windows - giving the upstairs living area of this home, a New York Loft feel. Located at the end of the island that is only 1/2 mile wide from Ocean to back river. Walk to Ocean for sunrise and back river for sunset. Walk 2 minute to shopping, dining, beach. Walk to Library and IGA and Deli! This home has 2 CENTRAL A/C's and two window A/C's (window ac's are off upstairs rooms that have lots of windows.)

This home was built new in 2008. Updated in 2023. Beautiful upscale pool and NEW 6 person Hot tub. All this on Quiet Street, 1 street off Butler.

We have deep roots in Savannah and Tybee Island. Several of us were born there, some of us were married there. But now, all of us are spread out in FL, TN, and AL. Back in 2019, we started a family Thanksgiving tradition of meeting on Tybee Island to celebrate family and giving thanks for our blessings. We have stayed at several homes, but this one has been voted best of all! We will certainly look to come back year after year to this house and the hospitality of Marsha!

Perfect. The kitchen layout and design were superb and every imaginable amenity was included. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of room for our family to be separated if needed. The location was perfect. This property and the owner are both 100%. Even though the pool isn't heated our sons and granddaughter were able to swim for brief periods daily. They considered it a cold plunge after the hot tub soak.

Comfortable House close to the beach. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Location was great. Nice amenities. Had everything that you needed for a great stay. Host was super communicative.

I highly recommend the Million Dollar House and would return. First time for us in Tybee and our grown-up children loved that it was so centrally located around the fun areas with lots to do. We appreciated that it was enough steps from the night life that it didn’t bother us. The walk to the beach was not an issue. We rented a golf cart a couple days and found that parking fees were included. You can park next to the public beach access. Having the elevator made move in and move out days seamless. Owner, Marsha, was very tentative when we needed her via cell. The house was very clean and stocked! I have never been to a house rental before where we did not need to pack the essentials and by that I am referring to dish soap, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, kitchen towels, hand towels, bath towels, sheets, blankets—even tons of nice big beach towels! There were also three beach wagons, plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, floaties, etc. You can travel light if you book this house. Even a large amount of toilet paper in each bathroom and paper towels in the kitchen! The hot tub and pool was icing on the cake. We had a grand baby under 2 with us and the provided walk through gate was truly a life saver and gave us piece of mind.

Beautiful home with wonderful hospitality

The home is beautiful and spacious with so many wonderful shaded porches. It’s a short walk to the beach and the pool and hot tub were very much appreciated, and not as common on Tybee. Marsha hosts with care and intention and was easy to reach and gave great suggestions for our time on Tybee!

Great Family Gathering Place

The Million Dollar House at 1509 Lovell is cool , clean, and inviting, well-equipped for a large family gathering. Its beach cottage decor is tasteful and fun, with new updates each year. The towels and bedding are thick and fluffy. The elevator is a gamechanger when mobility issues occur, and when another accessibility need surfaced, the owner addressed it immediately in a way that will help others, too. The covered patios and porches provide places to read, play card games, or have quiet conversations. The well-equipped gourmet kitchen and gathering room provided ample space for feeding our large group, gathering for morning coffee, or watching a movie on the abundance of streaming services and channels. We especially enjoyed the space for playing charades and other favorite intergenerational games. For families traveling, the convenience of beach carts and equipment was a win! The backyard pool is a great splash place for young children and teens. The two sets of top of the line washer/dryers with detergent pods and fabric softeners provided, made laundry easy. Being close enough to walk to restaurants and nearby shopping was also a plus, especially for the young adults. Though managed by VRBO, this beautiful home and its guests are lovingly cared for by its owner, Marsha Marks, who is without equal.

Family Fun

My family and I (6 adults, 2 kids under 10) rented the property for Christmas and New Year’s. And it was the best holiday we’ve ever had. The house was perfectly suited for us, everyone had their own room and porch. The kitchen was warm and inviting, it was a perfect beach getaway. Marsha was an incredible host, excellent communication, always happy to help with any issues that arose. She had a broom dropped off after it had been accidentally locked in the owners closet. She had someone over to clean and service the hot tub immediately after I asked. Excellent service and such a sweetheart. Only two blocks from the beach, I will definitely be looking to book here again.

Highly recommended!

This house lives up to the description and pictures. By far one of the nicest of any we stayed in before. Very tidy and well equipped with everything you need for a fun beach trip. The beds were very comfortable. Many great seating areas outside to enjoy your time. Great location with restaurants, stores and and shops close by. Marsha is a great host and very responsive. She really cares about her home and guest. We had a great stay! We will definitely be looking to stay the next time I come to Tybee.

July 4th at Tybee

The property was nice and was very convenient to beach and restaurants and shops. Cleanliness could have been better. Some of the beds appear not to have fresh sheets as my guests needed to wash the linens before they could sleep in the bed. Some of my guests woke up with a rash and what looked like bug bites The one bedroom which was actually the porch was not able to be used due to the heat so I was glad we had less guests staying. The pool was nice to have for the kids.

Met All Our Needs

We selected this home for our family beach week because it had an elevator to accommodate our oldest member, and it had the right number of bedrooms/beds and baths for our large family, ages 5-81. It was beautifully decorated, with a large kitchen/living area perfect for preparing meals and playing group games. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a variety of seating for dining. The large bookshelves were filled with an assortment of interesting books for young and old, as well as board games. Several "nooks" and porches provided quiet spots for reading or good conversations. The house was well-supplied with cleaning products, towels and tissues, as well as body washes and lotions. It also provided toys and beach carts for our use. There were few problems, but Marsha Marks, the owner, was amazingly prompt in providing a solution that enabled the fun to continue. The home is located at the south end of the island, near the pier and very close to Pier 16 and Sting Ray's restaurants. It is also close to a public entrance and condos and hotels, making it a little more crowded than houses near the middle of the island. In all, it was a delightful house, very comfortable, with good beds and lovely furnishings. We highly recommend it!

Great House and Location

Marsha was a great host who has a beautiful home. Lots of bedrooms, seating and outside decks. The home was the best well stocked kitchen and pool and beach items we have seen in a VRBO. The home is beautifully coastal decorated, with comfortable beds. Lots of room for privacy for our large adult family. We also had a young toddler and the home is stocked with everything a toddler needs which saved us a lot of extra baggage. Pool as great and location is perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

3 generation family vaca

We had 14 people between age 1-80 yrs old. Beautiful home, walking distance to beach, private pool, walking distance to many shops, restaurants, ice cream. Marsha, who owns the home, was so attentive to our needs, very quickly replied to any questions before & during our stay. The home was stocked with so much. Garage full of beach wagons, floats, beach chairs & sand toys. Marsha thought of everything!! I highly recommend staying in the Million Dollar Home. The elevator in the home was very helpful for 80 yr old grandma, baby & toddler.

Great family vacation spot.

The house and location were perfect. Marsha was an awesome blend of professionalism and friendly. We had 9 adults with 3 children 3 and under. The house and location worked great for everyone.

Tom and I met on the West Coast and always wanted a home near the beach, but were unable to pay LA prices. And hated LA traffic. When Tom took a job here in Savannah, we discovered Tybee Island and realized it was just 19 minutes from Downtown Savannah, and we loved the laid back Artsy, non-resort kind of feel. So, we looked for three years for the perfect piece of property - well, the perfect piece in our price range and in the location we wanted. We finally ended up buying a woman's back yard. We had the yard divided into a legal lot. And on that we built the dream: Tybee Island Joy
We are cllose to the shops, yet away from the crowds. Within walking distance to all the eating places, and especially close to The Breakfast Club! This lot, seemed to have it all, Location, Location, Location, plus, it was the only lot we could find that didn't look into someone elses house - our lot looks onto a 60 foot tall live Oak tree. And OK, I confess, it was the only lot for sale on the whole darn street. So we bought it.
