Located 1 block off King Street, you can walk to restaurants, bakeries, bars, and more within just a few minutes or opt to drive to any of Charlestonā€™s surrounding areas to see all it has to offer! Two parking spots are included with this rental with a dedicated turn around spot at the rear of the lot, so you never have to back out when leaving to explore!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay here. We came for a bachelorette party and the location was amazing. Everything was clean and the space was perfect for our group of 8. There was more than enough room and it could easily accommodate more than 8. I would highly, highly recommend to anyone traveling and wanting to stay in downtown Charleston.

Wonderful property for a large family

The property was beautiful with both historical charm and modern amenities. Ms. Miki met in person and went through all of the property's amenities, going through how they worked, etc. and got to meet my family as well. We were in town for my niece's wedding and had rented space for 12 of us. The location was walking distance to many fantastic cafes and restaurants plus a quick ride to Market Street and the historic area. I would recommend this property to anyone because Ms. Miki and Mr. Chuck were wonderful hosts and were very responsive if we ever needed anything

Perfect for our family

We needed a place to stay to accommodate our family of 9 which included a set of grandparents! The house is beautiful exactly as described with plenty of room for everyone to spread out! The grandparents stayed in the main floor bedroom which allowed them their own privacy bathroom and a little area if they wanted to be apart from the chaos for moment lol! The upstairs with the three bedrooms was ideal for the babies and their parents who could use all the bedrooms and give the babies a quiet place to nap! The two king size bedrooms are awesome each with their own bath and down below another living room dining room etc and that whole section can be closed off from other side of house which we did a lot to keep the toddlers contained ! And we can't say enough about the location! There's a sandwich shop literally son the corner, a local family owned place two blocks away that had the best fried shrimp that my father in law was craving and you are steps away from king street with tons of restaurants and shops. Location is close to The Citadel, West Ashley and Jones Yacht club (all places we had to get to for daughters wedding). It was an ideal location. The only slight drawback was the set of spiral stairs was hard to navigate with a toddler in arms but they offer an outside entrance too and it was easy and convenient! All in all I would stay here again and if you are considering booking then do it. The owner is great to work with!

Charm, character, convenience, and comfort! This house had it all. This was a gorgeous, comfortable home in the perfect location to explore Charleston. I always coordinate our vacation rental for a yearly friends and family reunion, and it was nearly impossible to find a home with enough bedrooms and baths, plus a large enough living and dining space for our big group. And I wanted historic charm since this was Charleston, the most charming of historic cities. This house had all of that and more! Sitting outside under the shade of the live oak was a favorite, and the blooming flowers and gorgeous landscaping were just lovely. The kids could enjoy the TV in the smaller living room, while the adults gathered in the larger family/dining room. Everyone loved their comfy beds, quality linens, and having their own bath. And the location was just the best, with a short walk to SO many bars and restaurants, and easy access to the bus that took us everywhere we wanted to go. You won't find a better Charleston home-away-from-home!

Fantastic Charleston Location

Our group of seven girlfriends gathered to explore Charleston and celebrate some milestone birthdays. Miki and Chuck's home was the perfect location to enjoy everything that downtown Charleston has to offer.We appreciated being able to spread out across the two combined units, with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. The living area in the newer unit was nicely appointed and was very spacious and comfortable to relax and hang out after long days walking around the city. The kitchen provided all we needed to prepare coffee, drinks, and snacks (in between the bountiful offerings available at the many delicious cafes and restaurants just steps outside the door).The home is ideally located. Our trip was focused on downtown Charleston, so we didn't rent cars, but had no issue getting everywhere on foot, with King Street just a block away.Future guests should note that while the two units are integrated, the three bedrooms in the older section can only be accessed from inside via a narrow spiral staircase. Several of us opted to exclusively use the outside stairs to access the bedrooms in that section.

Amazing Property!

This property was perfect for our family. Wonderful common areas with separate sleeping areas so family members had ability to rest or stay up with no disturbance to others. Great sound systems, Smart TVā€™s and so much space. Great location with quick walks for coffee & food. We hope to do many repeat trips!

Fantastic Wedding HQ in Charleston

My family and I picked this house because it was close to my brotherā€™s home. We were in town for a wedding and needed somewhere nearby with a number of bedrooms to accommodate 9 adults and our 3 kids. Check-in was a breeze. Place was spotless with a binder full of helpful information if we ever got stuck. Having two parking apots was very helpful with the size of our party and the trip we took to the beach, but you could easily do without a car. Quick access to King street restaurants and all of downtown Charleston just outside your door. There was one night where a karaoke party nearby kept our infant son up for a bit, but to be expected in a college town. 10/10 would absolutely stay in this beautiful home again!

Exceeded expectations

6 couples in town to Celebrate my Husbandā€™s 60th Birthday. The house accommodates everyone without any overcrowding. Beautifully decorated and a perfect location to walk to restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this house to anyone wishing to visit Charleston.

Great House in a wonderful location

The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Plenty room for everyone. Beds were comfortable and everyone had their own bathroom. Having 2 sets of washers and dryers was great since we were heading to Savannah for a few days and were staying in a hotel there. We played dominos on the large table in the kitchenette. We had a WONDERFUL time and would highly recommend this lovely home. The owners were great too!!

Amazing Spot!

A groups of my friends went for a bachelorette and it was perfect! The place was extremely clean, spacious with enough room for everyone to sleep and spread out. The kitchen was great for a night in. And the location canā€™t be beat. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Charleston!

Miki and husband Chuck moved to the Charleston area 10 years ago. We both thoroughly enjoy spending time downtown and around the Charleston area.

Chuck is originally from Florida and Miki from West Virginia. Previously to moving to Charleston, they spent 20 years in the Washington, DC area. Miki in the health care marketing and management industry and Chuck in the printing and marketing solutions industry. Wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the Metro area and the colder weather, we chose Charleston!

Since moving here we have been involved with restoring , renovating and managing downtown properties.

We love walking around the city looking at the various architectual designs of historical buildings, eating at the amazing resturants, or taking in a festival or special event. On warm days you can find us on our boat with our two sons Ryan and Alec or at the beach. And of course, there are the Citadel football and basketball games. which we can't miss since Chuck was a graduate of the Citadel.

Our renovation of this property was a labor of love and our goal was to transform it into a cozy comfortable home with modern appliances and comfort while still maintaining the historical Charleston feel.
