Cozy renovated attic loft with 2 bedrooms. Perfect for family with lots of kids and pet. Primary Bedroom has queen bed and twin bed. Private second bedroom has 1 twin and full bed , window, bright and airy with central air conditioning and heat. Beach side of Mandalay Ave, just 5 blocks north of Pier 60. Open French style glass shower, separates twin beds from queen.2 couples or 5 singles. Vaulted ceilings taper down to 4 feet, so not for tall folks, Each bedroom has door and lock, window and closet
Finished in all white beaded pine wall and ceilings, distressed white pine floors and Coastal Florida decor. You will feel like your at the beach in the Fun Baywatch Loft.

This is a unique cozy loft with fantastic location and great value.Crank windows open to catch the breeze off the Gulf of America

Walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, set up a little beach camp with all the toys and chairs provided. It was our second stay and I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Not as advertised

Upon arrival no one knew what room we had, too at least half hour to find out. The propertwas no help, he was off to another area. Finally finding where we were to stay, the maintenance person showed us the room. Walk down a narrow walkway, up 2 flights of dirty stairs to the attic. Bare studs were painted, wall were slanted and bed tucked in the slant. Even the person showing it said he was ashamed to show us this place. We did not stay, we loaded back up and went home. Almost 600 dollars for one day and we couldn’t stay in such a place. This place is for college kids for a drunk weekend stay, or someplace to house homeless person, not for a family. It’s rundown and not well kept. Your description and photos of this place is definitely a misrepresentation. You should be ashamed of your company for not checking out places before you advertise them and expect a family to stay there. Your selfishness and just want to profit should be against the law. You profit and the customer losses. Again, we did not stay, we seen the room and walked out. We would like our money back, misrepresentation of this property is an understatement. Profit is all you care about as well as the property owners. You should be turned into a consumer agency. Yes, I did call your company and spoke with an agent as well as his supervisor. They were no help. You need to ask yourself why these people would leave after paying that much.

I feel the description was deceptive, yes there is a hot tub but have to reserve ahead of time and only available very limited hours each day, had to pay to park as a spot wasn’t available, shower in the middle of the main room with just a curtain around it, no lighting in shower, no privacy, ceilings low even my grandsons bumped there heads. It will do if you are just there to sleep but there are much better places to stay

Great location to beach but not truly pet friendly

This is conveniently located right by the beach, just a short walk and you’re there. We loved the location! However, there is a $100 pet fee (which I understand having pet fees) for a property that doesn’t give your pets a place to relieve themselves. There is no grass anywhere on the property. This posed to be a major inconvenience. Also, the ceiling is slanted on both sides… so watch your head at all times. Overall, good property and great location.

Beach bliss

Cozy spot in the perfect location! This place is ideal for a laid back beach vaca. Kids loved it, felt very safe and everything we needed was in walking distance. Great community outdoor space with hot tub and dining area. Captain Al is a fantastic host! Thank you!!

Place was really good. Rooms were as described in post. Loved that was on the beach! Plenty of space for a family of 5. Captain Al was responsive and quick to greet us. Overall amenities are good. Many places to eat around that are great. You can walk everywhere! Very safe and this side of town is quiet, which I loved!

Not bad spot. Was hard to find in dark in rain they changed the paint colors from pics. however it was awesome location. Loved water park passes. Use of hot tub grill area was AMAZING so close to beach will stay again!!! Very communicative host low cielings though.

Cute and Quaint

Super cute almost like a doll house. Awesome location. Clean,no bugs. Not recommended for tall people at all. We not super tall but I’m 5 8 and my husband and boys are 5 9 and 6 foot. We did keep hitting our heads on the ceiling because of the slant. I didn’t give it 5 stars because one it says sleeps 6 I don’t think if we had 6 people we would all fit and we almost did.And it’s pet friendly which was why we chose it there is nowhere to walk the dogs. No grass you literally have to go across the street and it’s scary at night by yourself. My suggestion is that they make a designated spot for dogs. Besides that it’s cute and quaint for shorter people, but we did enjoy our stay!!!

The location was great. Right on the beach and Just a 10 min walk to the shops and restaurants and only 20 min walk to the pier. If you don’t need a kitchen the cottage was perfect with 2 rooms and 4 beds and communication was great Captain Al was always quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again.

The old Florida cottage was old Florida. It was clean with history and very friendly property management. I grew up in this area and this is what vacation was before all the resorts cluttered the beach. I mis booked our cottage and the manager met me and fixed it without argument. Close to the beach and far enough from south beach that you had some peaceful time off. Would definitely go back and have already recommended to several friends and family.

We stayed here for my daughter’s spring break and had a blast! The place was clean and had everything we needed. Capt Al was right there to greet us when we arrived and was helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend! We will for sure be back.

Exactly as advertised

The place was very clean and exactly as advertised. Definitely not for really tall people. But if you are looking for a reasonably priced, well located, comfortable and clean, slightly quirky place, then this is the spot for you. Owner was very responsive and provided everything we needed. I would stay there again.

As a scuba diver I have been to most Carribean Islands, have hiked through most South American countries, and have Jet Skied most all waterways in Florida. Now I enjoy taking my guests out on my run about boat and enjoying the beauty of the islands off the coast of Clearwater Beach. This loft is a new renovation in a 1948 building, cool, cozy, and affordable .
