Enjoy a real 1925 beach cottage 100 steps from the beach. Pink Dolphin Cottage features Samsung Smart Stainless Steel appliances, granite counter tops with white beaded pine cabinets. Families have enjoyed these cute little houses since the 1920s. Old Florida Key West Style backyard has wood party deck, tin roof gazebo, Weber BBQ Grill, and is fun and funky. Pink Dolphin Cottage has a wood deck off the kitchen which overlooks the backyard. Fenced so children and pets can run around. This house can sleep up to 7 guests with Queen in private masterbed, sofabed in living room, Murphy Wall bed in very small room off kitchen, and twin bed in small porch room. Great for families with lots of children, but not recommended for 7 adults. 900 square feet air conditioned living area.
Daily bookings must be the day of a check out or daily rentals accepted the day prior to a check in but not one day in middle of week. Please inquire for daily bookings.

Was not expecting perfection, but this place was a health hazard. Sewage in sink, brown stinky stale water in a bucket under the sink, smoke alarm was never replaced, grip handle in tub was rotted out and the tub was very slippery. The furniture and pillow covers were very dirty. Many things were broken including the fan and air conditioner. Bad smells. Could not even get the murphy bed out of the wall. Big gap in front door. So many other issues (at least a page full). Dollar store purchased worn out towels and wash cloths, used dollar store body wash, filthy salt and pepper shakers, etc. Cockroaches. I realize cockroaches can show up in clean homes too, but honestly, I was very concerned about bed bugs. I was so anxious by the living conditions I cut my vacation short by a week. VRBO let us down for sure! The whole experience in this VRBO home was awful.

Dear Dixie It is unfortunate that the Pink Dolphin Cottage did not meet your lofty expectations however your review is as disingenuous as your many calls and reports to VRBO so lets look at the facts. Yes we do offer free soap and shampoo and it is from discount suppliers as we are not a five star hotel. Our rates are about half of what you pay at the condos directly across the street. Same beach. When you reported the smoke alarm beeping I went off island got a new one and put it at your door as you were not home. The clog in the sink was plunged and fixed. There are 4 window air conditions so if one fails three others will keep you cool. Yes a roach got in as they do in all FLorida homes but here was no bed bugs. Your were wanting a higher end property but did not want to spend twice the price. After you stayed an entire week, you did not want to stay another week but wanted a refund for the entire stayi. After I offered you a full refund if you wished leave for the week after the first week you made up even more complaints to VRBO to get a full refund. If you got a refund we would not have got this bad review. The good news is we are Superhosts and have over 4000 Five Star reviews and past 5 reviews were 5 star for this house. you did not cut your vacation short and have a hard time telling the truth If you were nice, I would have given you some discount, but your were not. What you put out into the Universe is what you shall receive The Secret. Capt Al

Great stay

Easy check-in. Everything was just as the explanation on VRBO. Beds were comfortable. The cottage was an original from the 20s or 30s so it had old charm. You don’t find much of that these days. super convenient walk to the shops and beach. Would definitely come back and stay!

The beach was great. Only a few feet away. Great location. The cottage was dirty, not safe. No fire alarms, cables everywhere. The electricity is not up to code.

Great beach cottage - one of the last in Clearwater

Lovely small, old cottage duplex, comfy beds and bedding, and the common space is handy and pleasant. The host was engaged, helpful, and friendly.

Great location, cute cottage

We absolutely loved our stay in Clearwater Beach! The cottage was very cozy and clean, we loved the outside area to hang out in. Ginger was very friendly and helpful, Capt Al was excellent with accommodating us and answering questions

Easter Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the property and enjoyed all of the walking distance attractions. You are so close to the beach and dozens of restaurants and bars. The cottage was a perfect home base for exploring Clearwater Beach. We’ll definitely be returning, this place is a gem!

Wonderful

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. So close to the beach and great restaurants in walking distance. The cottage was very much our vibe with its unique vintage charm and character. So much better than a hotel room. We would definitely stay there again!

Great place close to the beach….

Walk everywhere you want extremely convenient to restaurants and the beach! Brought my 2 labs and they had a great time. They are 10 yrs old so the 1 level cottage was perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!

Perfect cottage close to beach and town. Great amenities. Super friendly and helpful caretaker on site. Had one issue with noisy neighbor and Capt Al was right on it.

Fun Family/Birthday/Father’s Day Weekend

We had a great time staying! Perfect location for us & room for what we needed. The only thing was we couldn’t get 2 window units to work.

Dear Sara. We are glad you had a great beach vacation and thank you for your 5 star review my housekeeper or myself make sure every air conditioner works and every TV works prior to every guest checking in all you needed to do was text or call me. The welcome manual says that if you cannot figure anything out kindly text manager and we would have been over to show you how to operate the air conditioners . For future guests please read the welcome manual which gives very detailed instructions on how to operate anything and if you need any assistance we were just minutes away Captain AL and Karen

Karen from California and Capt.Al from New Jersery are very fortunate to enjoy living in Clearwater Beach. Here we enjoy swimming in warm clean water, enjoy boating in summer, and have great congenial neighbors. When you come to visit, we hope to show you around, and help you have a great beach vacation.

Located in the Old Florida District, the Pink Dolphin Cottage is one of the last real beach cottages left on the beach side of Mandalay Ave. You can walk around and enjoy the Old Florida feel of Clearwater, before all the historic hotels were torn down for the new High Rise Hotels. This house is just 100 steps from the beach with other cute little houses . Here you can enjoy your own little beach house just steps from the beach. Clearwater Cottages District has been designated Old Florida District .

Less than a minute from the sand, you and the kids can walk back and forth to the beach all day with no streets to cross, no elevators to waste time in, and you won't need to dress up to go through the hotel lobby. And you wont have to walk down to the parking garage , punch the time ticket meter. You park right in front in front of your Cottage with free parking. You will save a ton feeding the kids in the your Gourmet Galley Kitchen, stainless steel refrigerators. Backyard has wood deck, tin roof gazebo and dining table.
