Have you ever gotten to your vacation rental and said to yourself, man I wish we had rented THAT place over there! Well the YellowTail Villa is THAT place! It's the location, the incredible amenities, the amazing island decor and decorations and of course the amazing VIEWS! We've got it all!

141 incredible glowing FIVE STAR REVIEWS says it all! My reviews are ALL recent from last week, the week before, and the week before that. Not 4 months ago or longer like you'll see on many other properties.

The reviews tell the story about this amazing stand alone single family property with a private boat slip, elevator, tiki bar, hot tub, moon deck and more! Immaculately decorated from top to bottom, you and your guests will feel extra special staying here.

I play NO games & NO tricks with our pics or location like some other homeowners try to pull over on you. My pics are all current and show you EXACTLY where our villa is located and how amazing it is inside and out!

Matt was very welcoming and easy to reach. We are not used to owners reaching out. The home was as described. It was a quiet spot with water views. Close to everything you need. The elevator was a hit with the 5 year old and the adults with all the luggage. We fell in love with the area and will be back again.

This condo was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true Keys escape—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the location was ideal: close to great food, water activities, and everything that makes the Florida Keys special, yet peaceful and relaxing at the same time.The condo itself was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay, making it easy to settle in and enjoy island life. Whether it was relaxing in the mornings with coffee or unwinding in the evenings after a day on the water, this place felt like home.The hosts were responsive, friendly, and clearly take pride in their property. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Florida Keys vacation.

My family and I just returned yesterday from our Thanksgiving vacation! Matt was a wonderful host and very helpful. He recommended restaurants, sand bar trips and fishing charters. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Only about a 5 or 6 minute drive to Sombrero Beach! Gorgeous! Would absolutely stay here again

The Yellowtail Villa was a great find. It provides everything you need, and was spacious and very comfortable. The location was great and the views from the top deck were beautiful. We spent enjoyable evenings at the Tiki Bar and in the jacuzzi on the ground floor. Matt was a fantastic host, responding quickly, and providing names of restaurants and places to go. We highly recommend this villa.

The living space was a little smaller than we expected. A couch that sits 3 and one chair but overall a very nice place. Communication was A and our view of the gulf was amazing.

This is a beautiful, quiet property, with every amenity you could want. The location is perfect, easy access to everything. The beds were amazingly comfortable and having the washer and dryer right there made keeping up with the laundry easy. Matt was great at providing information about the area and was super responsive to any of our questions!

Fantastic stay at Yellowtail Villa!

My family of six really enjoyed our stay here and it was the perfect size for us. We had fun catching fish from the dock at the property and cooling off in the pool. The villa was spotlessly clean and well stocked. We hope to return soon!

The Yellowtail Villa was perfect for our needs, especially as it offered docking for our boat. The Villa itself, an excellent location in Marathon, offering great views, is very tidy, clean, and well-equipped. Matt is a great host. He is extremely swift in responding to any questions or concerns you may have and wants to share all he knows about the area, providing us with some great restaurant recommendations.We enjoyed our much too short stay.

Trip of a lifetime

My family of 7 all came down for a nice getaway from Colorado. I love the ocean and wanted to share that with them. Staying at yellowtail was the perfect location for our family to relax and stay during our trip. Plenty of sleeping options. Fully stocked with anything you might need. The host Matt was phenomenal. Was able to answer any questions I had, recommended a whole list of things to do or see. Set us up with a great trip for a fishing charter. So great we went twice. Off shore fishing and reef fishing. I was able to squeeze in a snorkel trip to the reef and another favorite was a day trip to the dry tortugas. Mats place had all of the information prior to the trip and even at the house for a full itinerary of things to do. My top reasons for picking this place was location on the water, boat dock, pool, family friendly, and the ability to have a boat if we rented one. Definitely worth it and plan to go back!!

Amazing

We had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend at Yellowtail Villa. The villa is decorated perfect for the Florida Keys. It had all the comforters of home.The view from the rooftop was amazing. It was perfect for relaxing on the roof or fishing right out your front door. It had everything we were looking for. Matt the host was awesome. We hope to be able to go back soon!

Amazing stay at Yellowtail!

The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. It was a beautiful place. Well decorated best location ever. Kids spent hours on the dock fishing caught so many fish. We saw barracuda. Nurse shark, parrot fish, eels and lobsters from the dock. Loved having my coffee on the roof every morning watching the sunrise and the s’mores were good at night. There was such a nice sea breeze up there. Matt was a good communicator and always texted right back elevator was nice to have to bring luggage up. Hot tub was great to relax in. House was well equipped with everything we needed plenty of towels and utensils and fans and blankets. Don’t hesitate to rent this place highly highly recommend! I hope we get to go back soon.

I highly recommend this property!! It’s a beautiful home in a fantastic gated community. Matt was a great host. He made check-in super easy and was available for any questions. He gave suggestions of places to eat/visit that were super helpful. We tried out all but 2 on his list and we enjoyed them all. We enjoyed some leisurely evenings hanging out in the pool and the hot tub, playing cards in the Tiki area and we enjoyed the sunsets from the rooftop while eating s’mores made on the rooftop fire pit. We made some wonderful memories as a family and can’t thank Matt enough for being a great host!

Teacher spring break

Great pool area, rooftop and balconies to relax and let time slow down. Great spot for seafood and fishing. Host Matt was a great communicator and we had everything we needed. Only hour and half from Key West which we visited twice. Weather was exceptional. Only issue was lots of traffic which was expected. Just had to plan ahead.

Family vacation 2025

I want to first say that our host, Matt was outstanding. He always responded to our questions within about 15 minutes. He was extremely attentive to all of our needs. As to the property it is outstanding. The views from the rooftop deck were breathtaking. There was plenty of room for 8 adults. The villa was very clean and decorated nicely. ( a very beachy theme). The hottub was very nice after a long day. A very quiet place to stay and relax. Thank you Matt for everything - we definitely hope to be back in the future. We would give the rating of this property a 10/10 and definitely give this property a high recommendation.

Best host ever, gave great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Matt was very quick to answer questions, fix issues etc. Great location - Nicely located between the Keys and Miami. House met our needs, perfect size and location. Would definitely stay here again!

Family Vacation

Such a wonderful place to stay!!! Communication with the owner was fabulous. He made sure we had everything we needed. The weather was perfect. The kids caught all kinds of fish off the dock from the local fish, eels, stingrays, nurse shark, grouper, and barracuda. Crabs, tarpon, and tropical fish such as parrot fish could also be seen daily! They even snorkeled with the manatees which we saw almost everyday! We definitely will be back!!!!! Hot tub and pool was a daily thing. Can’t say enough about this place and location!

Great place to stay in the Keys

This place had everything needed for a great family vacation on the water in the keys! Rooftop deck was great! The hot tub and outdoor bar area added to the experience. The fishing gear provided was also a great benefit. The only negative was that it was almost impossible to park a boat at the dock due to the strong current, constant waves, and the tight approach to the dock.

Yellow Tail Villa

Great location, very responsive host, amenities galore.Our family of seven adults had lots of room to enjoy this wonderful property with fantastic water views. Everything we needed was close at hand including restaurants, beaches and entertainment. Can’t think of any downside to spending time here!

Living in the Northeast United States our family has visited the Keys for years....we loved it so much we finally decided to reach for our dream and buy our very own dream house on the water. We bought this property because we always wanted to be on the water and the ocean views at this property are just sublime! When we first walked up to the rooftop deck and saw the Gulf of Mexico, our kids said..."this is he place!" No other home we looked at could compare. The clear blue ocean water is why we come to the Keys and has always had a special allure for us. We are happy to share our special slice of Keys heaven with you.....you too will fall in love with the YellowTail Villa just as we did the day we first walked through it.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The high powered rooftop binoculars on the 35ft high party deck let you see miles out into the Gulf of Mexico......combined with a fire pit at night and night time star gazing, you will be in heaven at the YellowTail Villa. The Corona Relaxation Tiki Bar in the carport is our favorite hangout. While there is SO much to do in Marathon, we find just lounging around the YellowTail Villa from her rooftop deck to the tiki bar and all floors in between are the most enjoyable for us.
