Resort community, 6seater golf cart, dog friendly. Booking for summer

This beach themed retreat will have you and your guests enjoying all there is to offer from Surfside Beach. Nestled inside the community of Oceanside Village, you will truly step into a beach goers paradise. The neighborhood is a gated community, there are two outdoor pools, kid water fun area, hot tub, indoor pool, tennis courts, pickle-ball court, basketball court, playground, and ponds.

The house provides three bedrooms and two baths as well a huge open floor plan for hosting and in house dinner nights. We provide both beach towels and all the linens for your stay. The master suite has its own private bathroom, and then there is a large second bathroom for the other two bedrooms. (bedrooms: bedroom 1: king bed, bedroom 2: two twins, bedroom 3: queen). The kitchen has a very large bar seating area with large comfortable bar stools.
Outside you will be more than happy to take in the cool breezy beach nights in the covered outdoor seating area with a outdoor TV. We have a nice outdoor shower area to rinse off the sand after the beach. We do provide some beach essentials, such as chairs, umbrellas, and toys (we suggest folks to bring their own beach gear or rent chairs at the beach ). We also provide a 6 seater golf cart to take you and your guests to the beach. We do charge a fee for insurance on the cart. Minimum age required to drive is 21!

We do have washer and dryer on site and provide some detergent to wash during your stay.

The homeowners do own dogs if you have allergies we suggest a different location.

Loved this property! We were able to check in earlier than 4pm, which is always great. The golf cart was a great perk and the next door neighbors are super nice. Byron was easy to get in touch with and was really helpful! Thanks for a great experience! Will definitely be back.

This was our third time staying in Oceanside Village and our first time in this property. This was by far the best home we have stayed in. It was in the perfect location. Very quiet street but close to the pool. The home was spacious and being able to bring my dog was a highlight for me. The six seater golf cart worked very well for our family. We had one small hiccup with the stove when we first arrived but the owner, Byron, was absolutely amazing. He was very responsive and had the issue taken care of in no time. I just can’t say enough good things about this home and Byron. We definitely look forward to coming back and will most definitely be looking to stay in this home.

The golf cart and the reserved beach parking makes getting to and from the beach a breeze. The owner is great. He responds to every type of communication immediately. The only slight issue is checking in. The office is not the most welcoming. However once you get in, the rest of the vacation is amazing. We enjoyed our stay and we look forward to coming back.

Great home to visit!

We had a fantastic stay! My daughter was thrilled with the golf cart. Oceanside village has all the amenities you need for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. This host goes above and beyond with his customer service and his hospitality and responsiveness is A-1.

Location was great

Our family enjoyed our stay even though it rained. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the carport and enjoying the cool breeze after the rain. Byron was very nice to deal with and the house was stocked with many items that other rentals do not provide.

Clean and cozy home away from home

We had a wonderful stay, and would definitely recommend it to others. We enjoyed being able to bring our furry family members as well. Everything we needed to feel comfortable was provided. We utilized the grill, beach chairs and golf cart, and really enjoyed the outdoor seating area. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great vacation spot!

Adorable beach getaway

My family and I loved staying here. The property offered all the essentials and more. It is within walking distance to the pool and dog park. The golf cart was a huge advantage and made our daily trips to the private beach so much easier. The communication from the host was excellent and we would consider renting from him in the future.

Great location

Me, my husband, our two small children, my mom, & our dog stayed at this property for a week long vacation. We had an amazing stay! The property was spacious enough for all of us. The beds were comfortable, there was an abundance of pots and dishes, and there were plenty of towels and linens. The location is very close to the outdoor pools and the splash pad was a hit with the kids. Having the golf cart to drive to the beach was so helpful, too! Byron is very communicative, we would stay again.

Awesome house to spend a week at the beach

This house was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. We have stayed in two other houses in Oceanside Village and this is the nicest one we've stayed in. The house was clean upon arrival and was well stocked with supplies including dishes, pots/pans, towels etc. The outdoor seating area was was a great place to hang out in the evenings with plenty of seating for everyone. The golf cart was in great shape and was very useful for getting everyone to the beach in one trip. Byron was helpful and responsive, answering our questions quickly. The only minor criticism we had was that the A/C had a little trouble keeping up during the hottest part of the day but that has been the norm for other houses we have stayed at in July in Oceanside Village and wasn't a major issue. Other than that everything was perfect and we would definitely stay here again.

Unimaginable

Got there and owner wouldn’t let us stay because he said hurricane, however Myrtle Beach experienced no damage. That left us scrambling to find something else last minute. Eventually staying at Oceanside Village and noticed someone staying there!!! Last time

Hello all, I am a true Lake Lure and Asheville native. I am also happy to call Asheville NC home for over 30 years, where I was able spend most of my free time in the outdoors. From Asheville I moved away for college and went to UNCC, go FORTY NINERS! After college and some nine to five jobs I finally became my own boss and launched a property management/real estate business. With the business operating since 2015 we have been successful in providing people with lifelong memory vacations and also great places to call home. We purchased this house in Surfside Beach in 2016 and are more than thrilled to share it with friends and new friends to come! Please feel free to ask any questions.

This property is a great visit due to location. The house is located in the private community of Oceanside Village, which has 24 hour security guards. The community provides everything you need to feel as if you are at a 5 star resort such as, tennis courts, pools, hot tubs, activity centers, playgrounds, movie nights, private parking, and restaurants in near proximity. If traveling with kids the comfort and safety for kids to play in the neighborhood is beyond a parents expectation.

With decorating the house we went with beachy and bright colors throughout the house, because we wanted to fully engulf the beach lifestyle. We wanted to create a place that our family loved to visit time after time for our beach destination, and we feel as if we successfully created that with the Cottage at Surfside Beach.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The best thing we love about our house and all of our guests as well love, is how open of a floor plan this house boasts. When accommodating a group of 6 or more people you can easily do that because of the large kitchen area and living room areas within the house.

Outside we love to sit in the morning and enjoy our coffee and listen to the wildlif, the kids playing, and watching the golf carts maneuvering through the streets headed to the beach.

The house is also unique because we are fortunate enought to have a lot of large oak trees on our lot. This provides great shade and keeps the house and grounds cooler throughout the day.
