Perfect stay, can't wait to visit again

This is a wonderful vacation home. Clean, comfortable, and includes all that you need to have a great time at the beach. Quiet neighborhood, a short walk from the stairs down to Grandview Beach. Excellent view of the sunset over the water from the patio. It was very hard to leave!

Perfect Spot!

We loved our stay at the beautiful Grandview Lofts. It is a perfect spot for enjoying the beach with easy access to Grandview offering gorgeous views, long beach walks and great surfing. The proximity to restaurants, shopping and quick drive to I-5 make it a perfect jumping off point for North County fun. The unit and ammenities were lovely— beautiful design and furnishings; comfortable beds; well stocked kitchen; and a garage full of beach activities (boogie boards to chairs to sand toys). Jillian was helpful, friendly and responsive. A sweet basket of treats (including wine! And half and half in the fridge!) welcomed us. Hope to visit again and again!

Fabulous Location for Relaxing Vacation

Where to begin?! This location was absolutely perfect. We were able to walk to coffee each morning (10 min), walk to brunch / dinner (15 min), and the local surf beach (4 min). While the patio wasn’t ocean front, you could definitely see it and hear it. It was nice and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood! Steve was fantastic at communication and check in. Easy as it gets! The unit was very clean and they even went as far to provide a high chair for our baby. So kind of them! We loved having the doors and windows open, but the AC was definitely a plus for nighttime (we like it cold). The in-unit laundry was a great add as well. Thank you for such a wonderful stay! When we return, we will definitely be back to this place!

Great stay in Leucadia

The location is everything! Beach access, close to nearby cafes and restaurants and short ride to Encinitas. The hosts were very responsive and thoughtful, for such a popular spot it was a peaceful night’s stay and the apartment had all the amenities we needed. The access to bikes and boards was the cherry on top for a truly San Diego experience! Would definitely stay here again

Amenities galore at an impeccable property!

An absolutely stunning property in prime location from beach and activities. The amenities and care and thought that went into every detail of the property impressed us. The property was clearly curated by a high end designer thinking through every need of the guest. I would highly highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful, clean, and modern property located a short walk from the beach. We made use of the beach cruisers to ride around the area and into town for dinner. We had a great and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Excellent choice

This property was exactly what we needed to relax. The condo was lovely, with everything we could possibly need for home and beach provided. It was perfect for coffee (and wine) on the porch. The beach was very close and great to walk in the mornings. Nice little town, walked to several awesome brunch/dinners (loved the butter cake at Papaguyos!) plus very convenient when we went to San Diego. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Steve & Laura were perfect hosts, and answered immediately with a couple of questions we had. We will be back!

Excellent, clean + covid safe!

So many good things to say about this property! The location is perfect -a short 2 minute walk to a great beach. Bikes are available to ride along a one way street with lots of foot traffic so it was safe for the kids. You can see the ocean from the private balcony and it was quiet and beautiful. I went with my two daughters (11+15) and they didn't want to leave.

Excellent!!

The unit was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The bed was so comfortable and it was nice to have air conditioning. The kitchen was well stocked. I was so happy and relaxed staying here and will stay here again next time I am in Encinitas to visit my daughter and family!

Great spot!

Beautiful property and fantastic location just above Grandview surf spot. Easy access to the beach. Having the bikes and weight room is a huge plus. The laundry is not in the unit and a time has to be arranged. That is the only negative in an otherwise perfect spot!

Awesome place to stay in Leucadia/Encinitas

Our family recently stayed at the View Loft for our spring break vacation. It exceeded our expectations. The condo was immaculate, well appointed and extremely comfortable. There is a beautiful patio and view of the sunset in the evening. It's a 2 minute walk to Grandview beach which is great for surfing, boogie boarding, long walks and watching the sunset. The loft also has a lot of amenities... bikes, beach chairs, and gym equipment too. We were impressed with all of the attention to detail. Not only was the condo lovely, but the hosts were amazing to deal with. Gillian was incredibly prompt with all of her replies and Laura and Steve were so warm, thoughtful and helpful to us. We hope to be back to enjoy Grandview Lofts again.

Comfortable stay in Leaucadia/Encinitas

Excellently property. Newly renovated. We stayed for 5 nights in November 2019. Clean and well appointed, the owners have thought of almost everything and provided it for guests. Location is fantastic as it’s a quick walk to the nearest beach or a short drive to other beaches in the area. Restaurants are plenty in the area and grocery stores are 5-10 minutes away. Only consideration would be that this unit is best suited to 2 adults in our view given the single bathroom. Laundry is not in unit and available in request with the owner.

Fabulous stay!

Grandview Lofts is one of the best places we have stayed through VRBO. Laura and Steve are amazing host. Our accomodation had everything we needed to enjoy the place. Cruiser bikes, gear for the beach and views for watching the sunset. Loved every minute and hope to be back soon!

Beachside Haven at Grandview Beach

I stayed in this lovely little haven for 2 nights before it was listed here on VRBO. This place is a gem. It’s been newly renovated, and when you step in, you instantly feel a calm come over you. Everything about it, is designed to relax. The muted, calm, earthy tones and design, against the sound of waves crashing is just the start. The master bed is extremely comfortable with high quality linens, the bathroom fresh, & modern, the kitchen is like a showroom. This isn’t a place just to crash, it is a rarity in the vacation rental world as the owners have put top quality decor and amenities in, it is truly to be enjoyed. There are surfboards and beach cruisers and a small gym to use. And it’s all just a minute walk and stones throw from the sand. You can’t beat the location. This will definitely continue to be my first choice when staying in this area!

Absolutely amazing stay!

We had the pleasure of staying at View Loft celebrating our 20th Anniversary just before it was available on VRBO. What an incredible stay we had! It was a luxury 5 star experience in every way. From the moment you walk up the steps and take in the gorgeous ocean view you feel that each detail has been considered. It really exceeded our expectations. Laura and Steve thought of everything, they made us feel right at home and gave us all the details we needed to prior to us checking in. We loved the welcome basket filled with goodies, the bed and linens were top notch, the space was immaculate. It was quiet and relaxing, a perfect getaway…we can’t wait to go back!

Incredible Vacation to San Diego! Cozy Condo!!!

Such an amazing and memorable trip to San Diego! We absolutely loved our stay here! So clean and tidy, everything we needed was there! The home is also located so close to the beach we were able to walk there in less than a few minutes. Beautiful view of sunsets in the evening! Amazing little grocery/convenience store very close by, so we didn't need to go far for much! Owners were such a delight to deal with, we can not thank them enough for our getaway trip!
