**Please note that the Emerald Isle HOA is currently performing an ongoing balcony recoating project, where balconies could be unavailable for a short time. Welcome to Emerald Isle #602, a beautiful Gulf-front condo in Pensacola Beach, Florida. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat comfortably sleeps six guests and includes free seasonal beach service. Enjoy incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico from your shaded private balcony, or relax inside with all the comforts of home.

The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare everything from quick snacks to full dinners. With modern appliances, ample counter space, and a Keurig coffee maker for your morning brew, you’ll have everything you need for a stress-free stay.

Both bedrooms are designed for rest and relaxation, each featuring Smart TVs for your entertainment. The primary suite offers private balcony access and an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and a heated bidet toilet seat. For additional sleeping space, the living room includes a queen-size sleeper sofa.

We have stayed in this same building numerous times, this is the nicest unit we have stayed in. Had a little trouble with door code in the beginning but it was quickly resolved. No other issues at all. Would definitely stay here again!

April Visit

This unit was clean and comfortable for 2 (and would likely accommodate 2 more equally well, though the twin beds would not be ideal for another couple). The views are great, the pool area and beach consistently clean and inviting, and well, the Gulf is the reason for the visit, and it does not disappoint! Loved our stay!

Nice location, clean unit

Great condo! A little dated but still nicely maintained. Much larger than it appears in photos. We had a toilet leak upon arrival, but maintenance came promptly and were friendly and professional. Would book again!

Fun For All Ages

I planned this trip for my 82 year old mother. My daughter and grandson also joined us later in the week. She was so thrilled with the condo that she called my brother to tell him it was the nicest she’s ever stayed in! The condo provided everything needed for the young and older. My mom has knee problems but the walk without steps gave her an easy path to the beach - she was able to put her toes in the sand and have the ocean rush over her feet again! We loved everyday there! Beautiful Condo!!

Condo #602 was perfect. The 6th floor is just high enough to eliminate some of the noise from the pools. I'm not sure why there were less than perfect reviews from previously picky occupants but the condo was clean and had everything we needed. It wasn't fully stocked but we brought the necessities. Beds were very comfortable and the furniture was clean. The patio furniture could stand an upgrade but was fine for the 5 days we were there. The convenience store out front is fabulous and has anything you could want. The Native Café right across the street has the best breakfast and mimosas! Will definitely stay again!

Great location, condo was clean, just wish it was a bit more presentable.

Limited kitchen supplies, only 1 dish towel as an example. Ice maker was backed up with ice upon arrival. Rust on kitchen appliances. Door was not locked up on arrival. Otherwise, condo was as advertised.

Property is not the best maintained. Old appliances and kitchen and baths need a remodel. Bot baths have pedestal sinks so there is no Countertop space for ladies. The hall bath sink is angled back so water puddles around handles. Tile is popping loose in mater bath floor. Great view though

Great Location!

The property was ideal for a family of four. It would be nice if the 2nd bedroom was large enough for full size beds rather than twin beds. Master bed is high off the floor and difficult to get in if you're elderly, short or have a bad back or knees. Would be nice if it had a stepping stool to get in bed. Unit kitchen equipped with everything you need. It's best to bring your own canopy and folding chairs for beach lounging so you want have to rent. Left side of laundry room wall has a large open square cut out of the sheet rock to where you can see pipes. It needs to be sealed to prevent rodents from entering unit. Perfect view of the beach and pool area. Two pools and hot tub well maintained. The only major issue we had was that the codes emailed to her prior to trip didn't work when we arrived so we couldn't get into the main gate of the property. Love the secure facility but if the codes given don't work, it's frustrating. The Associate in office next to the gate was unprofessional and was in back office. She did not come out to have a face to face conversation. She gave us another code that also didn't work at the gate. We had traffic backed up. Had to go back into the office and she finally gave a code that allowed us to enter the property. It was also the same code to enter the lobby of the building. Had it been after hours and no one was there, I don't know what we would've done so verify your codes prior to arrival. For an inexpensive breakfast and custom hot dogs, go across the street to DogHouse Deli. For fun, go to Premier Adventure Park for Jet Skis, Parasailing and Go Karts. Best food, Café NOLA and Crabs On The Beach. Please get the Shrimp Spinach Dip. Best I ever had! A lot of great restaurant close by.

Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing and far below what was advertised. The experience was very inconvenient and several important issues affected our stay:• Beach & pool access blocked: The main entrance to the beach and pool was completely closed due to construction. Instead of direct access, we had to leave the building and walk all the way around the property along the roadside just to reach the beach and pool. This was never disclosed beforehand and made the stay very inconvenient.• Broken dishwasher: The dishwasher in the unit did not work during our entire stay. We reported it but it did not get fixed before we checked out.• No basic supplies: We ran out of toilet paper and there were no refills provided in the unit. Guests should not have to deal with missing essentials at a property charging premium beachfront rates.• Construction smell and noise: There was a strong paint/construction smell in the building along with noticeable noise from ongoing work.Overall, the blocked access, long detour just to reach the beach, broken appliances, and lack of basic supplies made the stay far below expectations.We were told management would review compensation after checkout. At the time of writing this review, we are still waiting to hear what refund or resolution will be provided.

Short Vacation

When we arrived there was a fire alarm in progress, so everyone had to be outside. This lasted for about an hour and a half. Then our code for the entry gate (and therefore the building) would not work - the Guest Services were quick to get that remedied. Thereafter all went well. It was a great location, and had a few nice little cafes close by. It was nice and quiet in the building - good soundproofing. We did notice a little ant problem in the unit - some tiny red ants in the bathrooms and dining room. Probably elsewhere but we didn't spend enough time there to determine where all the ants were, but my husband noticed the caulking was cracking all around the baseboards throughout the unit - so until that is fixed probably won't be able to completely alleviate that issue even with bug spray. Overall we enjoyed our stay there - everything was very straight forward, clientele within the building were all very nice as well. We look forward to staying again in the future as we plan a move in the next year - 1.5 years and our stay there provided us the ability to get out and see the area easily. Thank you! DO NIOT BOOK THIS UNIT. IT HAD PESTS RUNNING ALL OVER THE PLACE. TVS WORKED OFF AND ON. PPROPERTY SRVICES WANTED YOU TO TEXT YOUR CONCERNS, NO ONE TO REALLY CALL AND GET STATUS OF ANY REPAIRS!

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to leave us this review as it does give us a real time look at what our guests are experiencing. We apologize for the experience had during your 3 night stay with us. Looking into your stay I do show that the Property Manager was there that first day to check on the insect problem and that there was a problem with connection to the wifi, these issues have since been taken care of with pest control and wifi connection restored. As far as the texting, we apologize if you felt that you had no other way of getting into contact with us and will be doing a much better job at highlighting that number within the confirmation email sent. Worst beach condo in our 15 years of renting along the Gulf Coast

I am hoping this review will help you to decide if you truly wish to rent this property. I will say the property management group tried very hard to remediate all of the issues we encountered. However, this property should be taken off the rental market until urgent repairs are made. At the very least PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THIS. IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE IN THIS REVIEW: the property is DECEPTIVELY ADVERTISED. The front bedroom (with twin beds in the photo) has a window that opens onto a dark corner where the garbage chute is located. All night long you will hear garbage from 10 floors up coming down the chute--right outside your window. There is zero natural light in the room due to the dead corner. I can assure you-- you will be awakened throughout the night by garbage passing just outside your window. Shame on the owner for not disclosing this detail. Otherwise, here is a short list of big issues: --unit was filthy when we arrived. Floors full of sand. We cleaned for about two hours just to get it into an acceptable state. Property mgmt team did refund out cleaning fees. But we lost that vacation time to cleaning all the same. --dishes dirty in the cabinets (during COVID) because the dishwasher was broken when we arrived. Dishwasher remained broken our entire trip. We actually found sand in bowls that wanted to use for cooking--meaning someone had taken them to the beach and then just put them back in the cabinet; meaning the cleaning crew never even bothered to open the cabinets to check the state of bowls.. Had to purchase our own paper plates and cups so that we weren't manually washing all vacation. --master bathroom door is literally falling apart. Cannot close the door. The particle board is falling out of a hole in the bottom of the door, and you'll need to sweep up a pile of it every time you try to close the door. --broken light fixtures, dead light bulbs. Multiple trips by the property mgmt folks to remediate. Again. the property mgmt folks were super helpful but they were clearly embarrassed by the state of this place too. They would do well to disassociated their name from this property. Note that we rented this property at last minute and tried to discern if a good idea. The older reviews seemed to rank it as "okay". Be sure to read the newer reviews. Like this review, the recent reviews detail the shamefully abysmal state of this property. Shame on this condo owner for having the hubris to continue renting it as advertised.

Hello Andrew, Thank you for your review and patience as the cleaning was not up to our standard upon your arrival. Thankfully, the issues you have mentioned have been rectified. The dishwasher has been replaced, along with the master bedroom door, and a light fixture. A suggestion.. put a vanity top on bathrooms for additional toiletry space. Also get the chest out of master closet so people can hang clothes. Overall a great location and loved the restaurants..

Stay anywhere else but here!

This is Sharon Case at Emerald Isle #602. We left about 15 minutes ago. My husband wanted me to let you know that HE will be giving your condo a bad review. This was the worst condo we have ever stayed at, period! The electrical outlets in the room were not secured, the fridge was ancient, the drain plugs for the tubs was nasty and on the side of the tub and not attached to the actual tub. There was a hole in the wall by the washer & dryer. And the beds, oh my gosh! They were terrible! We can all feel all of our muscles, bones, ribs, etc...and the tiles that I sent you a picture of are still not fixed in the hallway. Needless to say, we really wish we would have went to another state for our vacation.
