* Roberts (a grocery store) and Walgreens drugstore are located on the corner of S. Carrollton Ave and S. Claiborne Ave (a quick drive or street car ride away). * If you choose to drive to the Cottage there is convenient off street parking available.
* Don’t want to drive around the city? Leave your car parked and jump on the St. Charles Ave. streetcar line to get to downtown, Audubon Park, the French Quarter, the Convention area and Bourbon Street. Uber and Cab services can also provide quick access to much of the city within minutes.
* Several restaurants and bars are within walking distance (Boucherie, Bourree, Lebanon Café, Thai Mint, Panchita's, Pho Bistro, Oak Wine Bar, Ale, Jacques Imo's, Chiba, Ninja). Oak St. is 5 short blocks away with bars and great local restaurants. The world famous original Camellia Grill is a short drive away on S. Carrollton.

The Cottage is a private residence located in the historic, quiet uptown neighborhood of Carrollton. It is a comfy stand-alone one bedroom, one bath with a full kitchen and living room that also has a private fenced in brick patio for your enjoyment. The living room has a sofa which converts into a queen size bed.
For easy access around the city the St. Charles Ave. streetcar line stops within a 2 minute walk from the cottage and is only $1.25 per ride or $3.00 per day with a Jazzy Pass. Restaurants, shopping and nightlife are also conveniently located within walking distance but far enough away to keep the noise down during your stay. Guests have access to a private fenced in brick patio. The cozy outdoor space has a wrought iron table with 4 chairs for enjoying gorgeous southern nights with good friends. It’s a great hangout spot for outdoor dining while sipping cocktails, drinking wine or just relaxing after a busy day exploring the city.
