Enjoy peaceful lakefront living just minutes from Fish Creek, Ephraim, Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor, and Peninsula State Park. This handcrafted lake house offers stunning views from every room, with 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, and space for up to 18 guests. A private dock just 50 feet away lets you enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating right from your doorstep. Sorry we do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties or large gatherings.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of the lake is perfect and there’s so much to do in the area. The fire pit was really nice and the wood is supplied. Kids really like the hammock. We had 10 people in our party and there was plenty of room for everybody. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Property was in a great location. The house is gorgeous with so much space! Right on Kangaroo Lake which allowed us to kayak and fish The house was furnished with everything we needed and the host was right there when we had a question. We loved our stay so much we are already talking about when to come back

We throughly enjoyed our stay! It had everything we needed and the view was spectacular. We meet Terry and found we had a lot of common interest which was fun. The place was clean, well stocked, and had plenty on space for the 9 of us. I would not hesitate to stay with Micheal and Terry again. Thanks for the made memories.

Great Lakes great times

Beautiful house, nice craftsmanship, great location, even great weather well set up for large families- we saw ducks, ducklings, cardinals and deer. Thanks for the stay!

Would highly recommend this house for your Door County vacation! Michael was such a great host and the house is really spectacular. It is in a lovely quiet spot but close to Bailey's Harbor and all Door County has to offer. We stayed in late October, so didn't get to enjoy the lake too much but it would be so great for a summer vacation!Our group was quite large, 8 adults and 7 kids under the age of 3. The house had plenty of space for us all and the kitchen was well equipped for the simple meals we made there. We did have an issue with the coffee maker on the first morning of our stay, but Michael brought us a new one the same day which was so appreciated. Can not recommend this property enough!

The Perfect Long Weekend Stay

The Island View Lakehouse was the PERFECT place to stay for our girls' weekend! The location is unbeatable on Kangaroo Lake, and the house itself is comfortable, spacious, and has great lakehouse vibes. Terrie was a very welcoming and communicative host. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Door County with a family/larger group!

Great Get Away

The perfect ‘home base’

This was the perfect ‘home base’ for our first family vacation in 3 years. Waterfront, amazing sunsets, quiet neighborhood, well-appointed kitchen, and pretty much everything else you could ask for. Long before our departure we began planning our return.
