Wake up to sweeping views of the ocean, mountains, and forest from your private studio perched on scenic Point Lena. Unlike most Juneau rentals, our modern home was designed with guests in mind—blending hotel-level comfort with the quiet charm of “out the road” living.

Sip your morning coffee or tea while eagles soar overhead and the sun lights up Stevens Passage, Admiralty Island, and Shelter Island. Enjoy the view from our cozy indoor sitting area or step outside for a true Alaskan backdrop.

This place was absolutely amazing! Gorgeous views and the host was SUPER welcoming and helpful. The studio was clean and spacious and it had everything we needed. We would 100% recommend it and would definitely go back again! You wont regret staying here. We miss it already!

Beautiful accommodations and location

My family lives not far from this property and it was a perfect place for friends to stay when they traveled to Juneau with us. The accommodations are beautiful, clean and new and communication with the owner was great. Highly recommend!

Spectacular views

Beautiful property. Views of the mountains are spectacular. We went to visit our daughter. Jesse and Renee are wonderful hosts. Property was clean and had everything you needed for a home away from home accommodation. Mishap with the fire alarm but Renee was quick to fix the issue. I highly recommend this BNB.

Great Spot!

Good location just a ways out of town. The place is thoughtfully designed and has everything you could need. Plenty of towels,sheets,and cooking supplies. A bit of supplied coffee and a boot dryer downstairs would be nice. Otherwise it feels good and has amazing views. Quiet neighborhood is a bonus!

Excellent location and property

Jesse was a great host. His property was is a great location away from downtown Juneau yet close enough to do all the sites and activities there. Being closer to Auke Bay was perfect for hiking, whale watching, and visiting local breweries and restaurants. The unit is above the garage with a private entrance. It was very clean, had a well stocked kitchen and great views of islands and the bay. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Fabulous stay!

Great property. Everything thought of to make our stay a great one! Beautiful views and peace and quiet. Great guide books and reading about the area and Alaska in general were provided. Netflicks /Hulu etc available. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts made us feel so welcome and took time out to check all was well for us. Thanks Jesse and Renee, we had a great stay and recommend the property unreservedly.

Peaceful Beauty

Jesse and Reneé were very welcoming and helpful. The space was even better than described. The natural beauty of the area is visible from the large windows. The location is a bit away from downtown, but that’s what makes it so peaceful and serene. Very close to the ferry terminal, but in Juneau, really nothing is far away. My son gives a special thanks for letting him borrow a basketball and use the hoop. For anyone looking to stay in Juneau, look no further; this is an amazing space.

Week in Juneau

The Apartment is attached to the owners house. Separate entrance, separate parking area. Very quiet. Plenty of hot water. Internet and tV worked great. The view from the apartment was beautiful. Very close to the water, short 10 min drive to the airport. Homeowners responded quickly the few times I needed to communicate with them. And the best part they were from TEXAS. Gig em.

Summer 2023 in Juneau, Alaska

Husband stayed 3 months in Juneau property and I stayed one month, but wished for longer. The studio suite is located in a beautiful, quiet, residential area and has own entrance. Beautifully decorated with local art/photos, high ceiling, windows open for a fresh breeze, comfy sitting area, full kitchen with all the supplies you need, comfy bed/bedding, washer/dryer. We had a car and there is parking spot right in front of private entrance. Hosts Jesse, Renee and family were so kind, friendly, helpful. Their property is well maintained, with great attention to detail. Property is close to hiking trails, fishing, Lena Beach area, Auke Bay Harbor, ferry terminal, Lena Point Trail, brewery. Watch stunning sunsets, birds, and boats go by from the beautiful yard area. Jesse, Renee, family and neighbors, thank you for being such wonderful hosts to us this summer.

We were so glad we chose to stay here! It has absolutely gorgeous views, very clean and well laid out; it felt like we had our own little place to come 'home' to each night. Waking up to mountain and water views every day was amazing. Staying away from town definitely gave our trip more of the feel of living in Alaska as opposed to just vacationing as a tourist. We were near beaches we could go to during high tide (morning or night) to do some tide-pooling. Near the marina where the whale watching tours leave from and the ferry departs. Only a short 15-20 minute drive to the downtown area. Jesse and Renee were both incredibly welcoming. 10/10 definitely would recommend staying here. We would absolutely stay again.

Awesome Retreat

Far enough away from the commercial area of Juneau to be a peaceful retreat. Just gazing out the windows was vacation enough for me (but I also hiked and boated). Spotless. Well equipped.

Great stay in juneau

This is our second time staying here in the BNB, you cant beat a full kitchen with dishes and utensils for homemade meals. The washer and dryer where lifesavers after day trips hiking!

We were very impressed with the studio. It had beautiful views, was very spacious and the neighborhood was quiet. Very peaceful and relaxing. Very easy to find and not far from town. Jesse was a very accommodating host. He greeted us when we arrived.

Beautiful loft with all amenities for a relaxing stay outside of Juneau. Great views!

Worked perfectly for us. We stayed 3 days and loved the quiet location. Loft was well equipped! We had a rental car which was necessary for this location. Great hosts with great communication before and throughout our stay. Cheers!

Welcome to our home! We’re Jesse and Renee, and we designed and built this house in 2017 with the dream of sharing our love of Southeast Alaska with travelers. Our goal was to create a comfortable, private base camp where guests can explore the same mountains, waters, and trails that first captured our hearts.

Jesse first came to Alaska as a summer intern in 2004, filling his days with hiking, fishing, and exploring Juneau’s endless outdoor opportunities. After multiple vacations back to the state, an unexpected job opportunity allowed us to make Juneau our permanent home. We’re thrilled to welcome you to our little slice of Alaska.

Perched on an elevated bluff with panoramic views of water and mountains, this spot captures everything we love about Juneau. It’s quiet and peaceful, giving you that “Alaska wilderness” feel, yet only 20 minutes from downtown and just a few minutes from Auke Bay, hiking trails, and beaches.

After two years of construction, we’re excited to share the home and its incredible surroundings with guests looking for a genuine Alaskan experience.

Our property combines the best of Alaska’s natural beauty with the comfort of a modern home designed specifically for vacation rentals. Very few places in Juneau offer sunny, elevated views of both the ocean and mountains, where you can watch eagles soar and whales breach right from the property.

Unlike many older Juneau homes, our studio is new, modern, and built with travelers in mind—with a private entrance, mudroom for gear, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and fast Wi-Fi. Outside, the peaceful setting makes you feel like you’re in the wilderness, yet you’re close to trails, beaches, Auke Bay tours, and the local brewery and restaurant just down the road.

It’s the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and authentic Alaskan adventure.
