Charming Cottage across the street from the Beach!

Go back in time in this lovely home. The cottage is in a wonderful location for summer fun. You will find yourself across the street from the town beach with a playground, canoe/kayak rentals and a fishing pier. You and your family are also walking distance to tennis and basketball courts, restaurants and soft serve ice cream. The house has three upstairs bedrooms, and one very small downstairs bedroom. There is a large friendly kitchen and a front porch with wonderful views of the water and lighthouse.

Harbor Beach is a working man's town, in addition to our lovely lighthouse there are two factories, There is no real nightlife here, this is a town for family cookouts, enjoying the bike path to the town marina and beyond. It is a place for remembering a simpler time.

Please Note, this is an old farm house, the stairs are very steep and the hall way is tight , there is a good sized trunk room but no closets in the individual rooms

There are 2 window air conditioners on each floor that help to keep the house dry and cool. There are ceiling fans in all the upstairs bedrooms.

Super clean and fits all of us ladies comfortably! Second time staying there. We just love it! My group of friends come from Saline, Michigan, and just love the thumb! We went tot the Caseville witch walk this weekend, and the property was absolutely perfect for us!

Wonderful home

This is our second time staying at this lovely home. The location is perfect, the beds are comfortable and it is easy to make a meal for the family. We especially enjoyed the Friday night concert at the beach and the walkability to food/shopping

This was a girls (old ladies) getaway and we had a wonderful time talking, laughing, eating and some crafting. The house was charming. The stairs to the upstairs were pretty steep for some of us old gals. The view was beautiful, especially the sunrise.

My husband and I and our two kids stayed here. Was great location by the beach and playground. Not a ton to do in town, but we enjoyed the ice cream shop, restaurant and a couple shops. We biked and walked to town easily. Place was clean and comfortable with everything you need. Outdoor shower was enjoyed by my husband and son but also nice to have 2 full baths inside!

Super convenient, clean and spacious for our stay in Harbor Beach. Plenty of towels and kitchen items were appreciated. A couple of beds are worn compared to previous stay and would benefit from mattress toppers. Overall loved the stay and look forward to returning once again. The hosts made everything super easy.

Beautiful view!

Wonderful sunrises! The kitchen is stocked with everything needed for cooking. Comfy beds and relaxing furniture in living room. We had coffee on front porch each morning to watch the sunrise. Very peaceful. Walkable to downtown Harbor Beach. Easy Wi-Fi access and check in and out simple. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for young children and families

The charming home is perfect for families with all the amenities needed. The outdoor shower is very nice after a day at the beach. Morning coffee on the porch for sunrise is spectacular. The public beach, playground, pier and bike path are directly across the street. Property manager is responsive to any of your needs.

TNK Knitters retreat

What a perfect spot for a getaway with 7 knitters. The house was just what we needed. Beds for all, a big table to gather to eat, and a lovely room with comfy chars and a couch where we could sit & knit! We were treated to a concert on the beach on Friday night, too. The walking trails were right across from us and a walk into town for dinner made it so easy. Definitely will recommend this location!!

Absolutely wonderful

The home location is perfect for easy beach access. The kitchen is nicely outfitted for cooking for family. All of the rooms were comfortable and we had ample space. The play/art nook was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our stay.

Elegant and Charming

Beautiful home tastefully decorated. Had all the amenities we needed for the weekend. Held 7 adults comfortably! What a beautiful view! Right behind the beach. It was December, but we bundled up and watched the sunrise. Also conveniently located, we walked to dinner. The group loved the place, and will definitely plan to book again!

Great location!

Beautiful older home immaculately kept. This house is in great location, quiet and peaceful yet great for kids also with the beach and playground across the street. Everything you need is provided, just bring your clothes and food. The host is very quick to respond to any concerns or questions.. Will definitely stay again.

Family visiting for a wedding

This would be an ideal property if you were in the area to enjoy all that the region has to offer. We were just visiting for a family wedding that was taking place in both Harbor Beach and Bad Axe and thought it was great. The house was exactly as advertised. We even managed to get in some walks on the pier and some soccer and volley ball on the beach just across the road.

Very clean & comfortable; great place to relax when the weather kept us inside

Our family stayed in Court House for Fall Break. We found it to be immaculately clean and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the living room area and the large dining table where we were able to be together without being on top of each and where we could engage in our individual projects, books, or whatnot - or play family games of cards or work puzzles - when the rain/cold wind kept us indoors for a couple of our vacation days. The living room couch and love seat were just right for lounging, for snuggling up to read afternoon stories with our son, or kicking our feet up on the coffee table. There were more than enough bed and bath linens for our 5 day stay (3 of us). We walked across the street to the beach to play in the sand - one of our son's objectives for the vacation was to build a sand castle, which we did, despite 40 degree weather! Very fun-looking playground at the beach, and a pleasant paved walking/biking path which we would have used more had the weather been less chilly. We would definitely want to stay in this home again if we visit Harbor Beach sometime in the future.
