Central & Secure 2BR 2Bath flat minutes from the London Eye!

You can check out the London Shard from the balcony of this Scandi inspired central 2 bedroom flat. Then walk less than a block to catch a show at either the Old Vic Theatre or the hip Young Vic or stroll down The Cut to dine at any number of wonderful restaurants or sip a coffee as the world goes by.

The flat has 2 double bedrooms, the Master bedroom is ensuite with shower and the second bedroom is a slatted sofa bed (so full mattress) with a large shower and bath across the hallway. There is a dining table with 6 chairs, TV, Playstation, Wifi, Washing machine and dryer and Dishwasher and of course all bedding and towels are provided for your stay.

Southwark Underground and Waterloo Station are less than 5 minutes by foot and the Tate Modern is about a 10 minute walk. The National Theatre and Southbank center are also about 10 minutes away. Light, bright & airy open design makes for a comfortable & convenient short or long stay in this fully equipped modern flat.

The location Is great, grocery shopping, restaurants, transportation, quiet secure building.

Flat looks like the photos. Very clean and comfortable. Han and Eva were great. Would certainly stay here again.

Great flat and location

Wonderful flat in South Bank. Great area near two tube stations. Large, clean, and comfortable. Would happily stay again.

Fantastic stay!!

Perfect, the only small detail that I would fix is the stain in the main bathroom shower. Otherwise, all perfect!!

Amazing apartment, great location

My family and I stayed here around the 2nd week of June and I must say, I could give this place more than 5 stars. IT's clean, location is PERFECT. Close to everything and the best part Hannah is amazing. She is responsive, gave us so much suggestions and the check in process is perfect. Thank you for making our visit to London amazing and relaxing

great location

Sainsbury and Tesco both 2 minutes away.... Waterloo and Southwark underground 10 minutes.... fantastic! to and from West End in less than 20 minutes

The bed in the smaller bedroom is a sofa bed and is sinking in the middle. It should be replaced.

Great location but a little bit downscale in decor. There were some issues with cleanliness in the second bathroom. Not terrible but some hairs on the floor. Nice larger bedroom. Very well equipped in the kitchen.

We are so sorry about this - I wish you had said something at the time so we could have fixed this for you. Sadly nothing we can do now…. I hope you won’t do this to other owners where you don’t give them the chance to make something right. It’s a bit unfair as we would have gladly sent the cleaning team in. As for the decor, it’s exactly as it is in the photos so apologies you were disappointed but the owners style isn’t hidden!

Great place, great location!

We were warmly welcomed by Eva, who toured us around the apartment and told us everything we needed to know. Great condition, very clean and lacking for nothing. No a/c, but there are 2 big fans that did the trick. Pantry even came stocked with essentials. So close to 2 tube stations and short walking distance of the Eye and Westminster. I'd totally stay here again. Hannah was also available via email to answer any questions we had.

Great location

The flat is perfectly located within 5 minutes of Southwark Station. Off peak, you are able to transit to Heathrow with only one train change for ~5 pounds/pp. The unit is nice, but could use a bit of maintenance & sprucing up. Example: the handles are missing in the main bedroom shower & the hot water adjustment doesn't change the water temperature.

Hello, Thanks for your comments. As we explained, the shower handles had been broken by the previous occupants and they were on order. Apologies they didn’t arrive in time for your stay. I have checked through our correspondence and you never mentioned the shower temperature. Apologies, if you had told me about this I would have come to show you how to adjust the temperature right away! We hope you had safe travels home.

Enjoyed this place.

This is a perfect location for everything your need to do in London. We stayed for 5 nights. The unit was spacious and very well stocked. Having 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us was a plus. The only negatives were the construction project in the back, the second bedroom with only a sofa bed and no dresser or drawers, and a washer/dryer that was much smaller and slower than we are used to in the states. Those were relatively minor compared to the overall experience. The unit was quite modern and very secure. Eva. The housekeeper, did a great job giving us an orientation of how everything worked. Hannah, the manager, was responsive to our questions. We would recommend this rental.

Hello, Thanks for staying with us. We are sorry you found the washer/dryer small - this is standard for the UK so not much we can do about this! We also do state there is construction at the back of the building before people book and thus the price is reflective of this which we think is fair. Also, we are sorry you didn't want to use the sideboard which is in the second bedroom which was available for you to use. This is in place of drawers. Safe onwards travels!

Fabulous!

We stayed all over Europe (Dublin, France, and London); and this was the best host/accommodation. A week previous a leak in the actual flag we rented could have caused us a vacation disaster. But Hannah and David were quickly in touch, offered (and held) a different unit, and refunded our money in full. Once we agreed to the new unit, reservations were quick and guaranteed. Once we arrived, Eva met us at the flat, gave us the best run-down of appliances, electronics, WiFi, etc. The apartment had enough - and mostly comfortable - seating for all four adults to relax at the end of our busy days. Pull out couch acceptable. And two baths were perfect for two couples. Would stay there again!

Clean, Comfortable & Convenient to everything

Hannah saved our vacation! Two days before our flight our original place fell through. I frantically searched for a new place last minute and Hannah saved the day! She was so accommodating to all my last minute frantic messages and requests. First of all, this place is SO close to the tube, and from there you can get anywhere easily. We had everything we needed in the flat, plenty of pots & pans, blankets, towels etc. Lots nearby as well, 2 small grocery stores within 3 min walk, coffee right around the corner. The flat itself was spacious & clean. It felt like we had a home to come back to after long days of sightseeing. It's very close to some major sites, walking distance to Westminster Bridge, London Eye etc. But I liked that it wasn't so close that it was always packed and busy everywhere. It felt like a nice neighborhood, close to the hustle and bustle but not right in the middle of it. The first night an alarm was beeping, turned out to just be a battery dying. Hannah responded and fixed it right away. I can't say enough about staying here, if I could give 10 stars I would. It made our first trip to London special. Thank you!!

Great flat in a great location

We had a lovely time in this flat. It was comfortable, clean and in a very convenient location. The kitchen is well equipped. The flat is well laid out. Having Tesco Express right below is very convenient but there are other grocery stores 5 minutes away. Lambeth North tube station is a 2 minute walk. Waterloo station is less than 10 minutes away. The neighborhood is pretty quiet considering how central it is. Hannah and Ewa were great to deal with. Our original booking was for another VRBO listing in Lambeth but it was canceled because the owners decided to sell their flat. Hannah (who is Property Manager for both properties) was kind enough to offer to ebook us for this flat instead. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Hannah and Ewa!

Great location!!

This flat was perfect for our family. We loved the easy access to Southwark and Waterloo. So much to do on The Cut, Southbank Centre, and Lower Marsh. Great restaurants nearby. Very walkable area. Property manager was responsive and friendly.

Great Location but could use a new second bed

To be clear, we really enjoyed our stay here. The location is awesome. You are near a major tube station for transportation and there is a street right next to it full of great little restaurants. For a check-in that requires face-to-face interaction, it went very smoothly and was very pleasant. It also has a great washing machine and the kitchen is well appointed. My only recommendation is to buy a new second bed. The main one is ample and comfortable but the smaller bed is very bumpy and feels like it is collapsing. If your kids don't mind a bed like that, then this flat would be a great option.

Great Flat

We had a great time in London. The flat was so convenient to tube/train stations, restaurants and pubs. Within one block of the Old Vic theater and 1/2 block of the Young Vic theater. Waterloo station was only a 5 minute walk. The flat was well appointed with all the kitchen essentials. It had a fridge and separate freezer, dish washer a washing machine wash/dry combo. The living room had two couches and a TV. The flat had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Al in all very well appointed.

Great place and location!

I would highly recommend staying here! The place is just as pictured and we felt very safe in the apartment building. Very clean, great communication with Hannah the host and in a great location. The apartment is very close to the Waterloo train station, a short walk to the London Eye and London Tower, along with a short ride to Covent Garden!

London Stay

Hannah was awesome to work with. She was available anytime if we had questions. The property was close to grocery stores, metro, and restaurants. We felt safe and close to everything we needed.

Great place to stay in London!

We had a very nice holiday. The flat is on a top-location in London with all great attractions within walking distance. If you prefer to travel by metro, two metro stations can be reached within a five minute walk. The flat is very comfortable and clean and has all the facilities you need.

Great Place in a Great Location

Hannah's flat was wonderful and everything we needed for our family of 4's London vacation. Check in was easy with the housekeeper meeting us at the flat to show us around and explain how everything worked. Flat was very clean and spacious. Nice having the 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us to get ready. Close to 2 tube stations which we used to get around London. Walking distance to many attractions. Little grocery store right down the street with everything you need. Very clean building and neighborhood. Building is very secure for safety. We can not complain about the construction next door as they did not work the whole time we were there. Nice to have a washer/dryer. 2 fans were supplied which saved us, as it was extremely hot the week we were there. Also appreciated the plug adapters Hannah supplied for us to use. Highly recommend Hannah's flat for your London vacation!

On the whole, a good place!

Nice flat, generally well equipped. Great that there were a storage of extra towels in cupboards. But bed in smaller bedroom not comfortable. Should be exchanged. Apart from that, no complaints really. We were warned in advance about noisy and sometimes smelly building site on one side of the flat, but generally we were out most of the time when they were active. So still, we would recommend the flat!
