Adorned with shades of blue reminiscent of the waters surrounding Anna Maria Island, this charming cottage is a dream vacation home. Perched less than 200 steps from the beach, you're just a sea shell's throw away from Anna Maria's beautiful shore, and you have a heated pool oasis in your own backyard. Plus, your dog is welcome too (for a small nightly fee), making this a rental that can't be missed!

Anything that can’t be reached on foot from your home can be accessed by hopping on the free Island Trolley. Its route runs a loop through Anna Maria City, Holmes and Bradenton Beaches, alongside seven miles of pristine, pulverized quartz beaches. Shopping enthusiasts should check out the boutique, vintage, and local artisan shops along Pine Avenue.

Back at the house, enjoy the three TVs, DVD player, and free WiFi, or stretch out on the cream-colored couch with a good book. Everyone will love being poolside at the end of the day - being so close to the beach gives you a particularly lovely view of the sunset, and a waterfall feature and swaying palms add to the relaxing ambience. Enjoy golden hour while cooking a delicious dinner out on the grill.

This home has parking space for two cars, and also features a private washer and dryer for your convenience.

THINGS TO KNOW
Pool heat is included and maintained at 80°F. Additional pool heat to 85°F is available upon request for $32 per day plus tax. A 48 hour notice is required. Heat may not be available if temperatures drop below 65 degrees. We will not be accepting payments for pool heat for the months of May through October

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This home is absolutely amazing. Very close to the golf. One of the cleanest homes I’ve ever been in. My only complaint would be that the pool was not heated and it did not say that you had to request it. So if you’re running this property make sure you request the pool heat. It takes 72 hours to heat up. Other than that, it was a great day. The weather was beautiful and there was no rain. This property is close to everything.

Beach access was great. However home does not come with ANY beach gear, no chair, no umbrellas. Rooms were crowded. Front door has a large window and does not have blinds or curtains for privacy. No shampoo/condition/body wash in home on arrival. Host did have some delivered several hours later after reported. Pool had lots of leaves in it, pool net had holes in it. new one was delivered later in stay.

Perfect home and location

This was a great home for a long weekend with our family, home was very clean and the check in process was easy. Love the quick walk to the beach and the pool was our favorite.

Great place

Great little place. The house was comfortable for my family of four. The pool was the best though and the kids loved it. I would 100% recommend and would stay again.

Great Location - Needs a lot of TLC

The house was a perfect location, right across the street from the beachHowever, the backyard was a disaster. Dead trees, thousands of weeds, overgrown bushes, no railing on the pool and no hooks for towels. The inside of the house was cute. However no toilet paper holder no full length mirror, no mirror in the bedroom, burned out lightbulbs, and no hooks for towels. The house had no cleaning supplies and I had to call and get a broom delivered to sweep up the sand. The homeowner has all of their stuff in the two bedroom, closets and barely enough room to hang clothes and definitely no room for your luggage. I would rent the house again because of the location, but it needs a lot of work.

Darling Little House

This is a darling little home, very nicely decorated and extremely convenient to the gulf and stores. We were very comfortable and Vacassa responded quickly to a couple of issues that needed attention. We would like to stay here again. Best for 4 people and maybe a couple of kids.

Location and pool!

The house is 4 houses from the beach. We walked back for lunch. When we were done at the beach for the day, we relaxed by the pool. The water feature adds a great touch to the ambience. We ate every meal outside under the umbrella. Living room was very comfortable when we wanted to relax at the end of the day. Only blocks to great coffee and restaurants. Would stay here again.

Favorite place to stay!🏝️

We love visiting the islands and have stayed at numerous places over the years, but Sea’s the Day is our favorite. We love the closeness to the beach, the private pool, and that we can bring our two dogs. The house is clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is that there are no plastic glasses, other than the wine glasses, to take out by the pool. Had we stopped somewhere where there were some, I would have bought a set and left them, but we were there to enjoy the beaches, not to shop! We like to come this time of year and hope to return again!

Sea’s the day

Enjoyed the island. The house is really small so we spent most of the time outside. The pool needed a good cleaning. Kitchen needs more cooking gear. The housekeeping staff showed up before 10:00 which is check out time. Sat outside for 30 minutes until we left. Would not recommend this house for more then 4 people.

Fantastic location for couples or family of 4

Outstanding location steps away from the beach. Wonderfully renovated house that is clean, tidy, and cozy. Fresh furniture, beds, linens, and fixtures. Pool is delightful with privacy fencing and temperature control. I don't think anyone could do better on Anna Maria Island if you're a couple or family of 4.This would have been a 10/10 but there were some basic things missing for a beach house. The misses are probably because it's a totally refurbished property. They can easily be fixed. There was only 1 trashcan in the house and it was in the master bath. The wifi name and password provided weren't valid. Management company never responded to text about this. There were no pool floats, not even a noodle. No umbrella for poolside table. For the beach, no cooler, no tote bag, no insulated tumblers with lids, no umbrella, no chairs, etc. Having rented many beach places over the years and flying to destinations, those are minimum expectations. Fortunately for the next guests, I left a beach umbrella & spike, chairs, and noodles to help things along the way. Hopefully the property management can fill in the other gaps. Again, this is a great stay, it just needs a little more equipment to make it perfect.

House Great, Vacasa not great

The location of the house was fantastic! Easy walking distance to the beach, food and shopping. The house itself was also very nice. The pool was clean and lots of fun! The house was relatively clean for the most part and well-equipped. The only downside was an interaction with Vacasa. The house listing says it sleeps 6…one of those beds is a pull out couch. However, there weren’t sheets for that bed. When we contacted them the afternoon we arrived, they twice told us sheets would be brought soon before telling us at almost 10pm that they wouldn’t be there until the next day. So we had to makeshift a bed for the night and the house that was sold to us as sleeping 6 was only equipped to sleep 4 that night. Something tells me we won’t be getting 2/6 of our money back for that night….. Sheets showed up around lunch time the next day.

Great location, lacking amenities

This rental was in a great location to the beach, Bean Point and some of the best restaurants on Anna Maria. It was in a quiet neighborhood and clean. The reason why I am giving only 3 stars is because of the need for amenities. Several things that you don’t plan to bring in your suitcase….spices, salt and pepper for cooking. Be prepared to buy your charcoal because the grill is a charcoal grill. Only one beach chair was available and no beach umbrella. We had to rent a beach umbrella and chairs from Lazy Turtle Beach Rentals. These things I feel should be available when you rent a house bear the beach. The pool was also dirty with green algae on the walls and started to smell sour by Saturday. We did have trouble with the shower draining but that was serviced quickly and worked great after. Also the keypad to get in the door would not work so we had to use the keys. The vacasa staff tried several different codes but still would not work.

Perfect Location

This place is perfect for the location! That was the greatest asset of this rental! However, the rental needs more kitchen equipment such as plates, cups, etc. The home itself needs some repairs done, such as the master bathroom sliding glass shower door, it’s completely broken and off the tracks. It’s a struggle sometimes to get it to close. The home itself needs some TLC. I sent the rental company about 10 photos so we didn’t get charged for damages. The place is definitely too small for any party past a family of 4 (2 adults/2 kids). We would definitely stay here again, but just have low expectation. The photos of the property are quite misleading. We rent quite frequently on the island. Reaching out to VRBO locally was very challenging and the local office was completely unreachable and didn’t respond to email. We went right after a recent storm (Idalia) and had some questions about the rental. Had to call corporate. Corporate was essentially saying no news is good news but they also said that we wouldn’t know for sure until the day before booking. While everything turned up being fine, reaching anyone and getting a concrete answer was almost impossible. I’d question using the company for the island in the future during hurricane season, they’re just not responsive.

Very disappointed customer

For my daughter's birthday, we decided to rent Seas The Day, in Anna Maria Island. It was expensive, but we saw the pictures online and the place looked really good, a cute small cottage house with a private pool, pet friendly and close to the beach. On arrival day, we couldn't believe our eyes! The home looked old and neglected, it was on a main street with a lot of construction noise around, the a/c inlet filter was extremely dirty, 2 broken furniture, a dead cockroach in second bedroom, the pool was dirty, the backyard had toys and trash left from previous guests, leaves were everywhere, in a few words, nothing looked like in the pictures. There was a door alarm on the backyard door which we couldn't reactivate, no cushions on the lounge chairs next to the pool (although they were there in the pictures). If we had the option to get our money back, we would have definitely left on the same day. I called at least 3 times Vacasa customer service and I also sent them photos from the pool and the backyard area and I asked for the manager to call me back to arrange some time for someone to come and clean at least the pool, but nobody ever called me back to address my complaints. Don't spend your money for this rental, the area is beautiful and I am sure there will be many other houses worthy to rent. I will never trust this website to book vacation rentals again, and I will keep posting reviews to other websites too. Pictures are available upon request.

Great cozy house, but the pool was a problem

House was nice and cozy for my wife and I, we stayed for 8 days and greatly enjoyed it. We did have problems though, the company that manages the pool, LaPensee. We were not able to use the pool for 5 of the 8 days we were there! A LaPensee worker came by mid trip and tested the water, then told us we couldn't get in until further notice, because of algae and a failed water test. but didn't clean it since a thunderstorm was coming in. He said someone would come by the next day. No one did. On Friday I called Vacasa who were super helpful, they called LaPensee, who told them everything was fine with the pool. I challenged that, so they called them back and told them to send someone out there. The same guy came back and I showed him the algae that was still there, and he said it must've come back because they scrubbed it, which I never saw evidence of nor was told anything at all. He said since it was Friday, and he didn't have the right chemicals since he wasn't a supervisor, it wouldn't be until Tuesday before they could take care of it. We checked in Saturday 5/20, and checked out Monday 5/29. We didn't get to use the pool on 5/24, 5/25, 5/26, 5/28, or 5/29. They definitely dropped the ball on this, and based on other reviews for this property, it isn't the first time. I don't blame Vacasa, as it was LaPensee that let us down, but we paid to use the house AND the pool during our stay! Very disappointing. I can't say we are likely to rent this property again after this.

Had a wonderful stay at Seas the Day. The house was very clean, steps from the beach and close to restaurants. The pool was so refreshing after a long day at the beach! Will definitely stay here again! Left beach chairs/umbrella and volleyball for next guests. Enjoy!
