Our Harvest Hill House is located on a hillside in the middle of our farmland. The view is spectacular and peaceful. The scenery of crops varies by the season, but is always terrific. The setting is very private. There is outdoor furniture to enjoy on the front and back porches.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The location was breathtaking- on top of a hill with stunning views. We also visited Dorney Park on Sue’s recommendation, which turned out to be a great addition to our trip. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

This home had everything we needed and was a great spot to have a camp staff gathering before the start of camp for staff bonding. The basement is a great game room, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. It's a gorgeous setting and we felt so welcome and so well hosted. If we are back in the area we would stay again.

Perfect space for a large group

It was a great stay here. We loved the property, the view was amazing, the host is wonderful and so hospitable. The kids loved the games in the downstairs, especially the skee ball. We would definitely love to stay here again when we are in the area.

Great stay

We enjoyed this location as a base to explore both Hershey and the Lancaster area. We loved the fire pit outside as well as the game room inside..

Another wonderful vacation

Everything was perfect. Beautiful scenery, great hosts, and beautiful home. This is our family’s second time to stay in this beautiful home. Would highly recommend anyone planing a vacation to Hershey to stay here. A great location.

Fantastic Farm Stay for HUGE Group!

This house was incredible. Situated on the top of the hill overlooking a valley of cornfield and farms. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. Gracious and kind hosts. We had 5 families with kids ranging from 6 to 6 months (8 kids!!) and this house was perfect. We were able to get all the kids sleeping in the variety of beds available and then all the adults were able to hang by the fire pit looking at the stars and views. Only 30min to Hershey Park. 10min to grocery stores and convenience stores. We loved it already planning our next trip back!

Sue’s Place was truly extraordinary — a perfect getaway in beautiful Pennsylvania, just a short drive from Hershey. The house sits atop a peaceful road surrounded by open fields, offering stunning views and a calm, relaxing atmosphere.Inside, the home is spacious and beautifully decorated with a cozy fall theme that matched the season perfectly. There was plenty of room for our group — easily accommodating 16 people — with every detail thoughtfully arranged for comfort.The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (no need to bring anything from home!), and all the bathrooms were supplied with toiletries and lots of fresh towels — a really nice touch. The basement entertainment area was a huge hit with the kids, giving them plenty of space to play while the adults relaxed upstairs.We also loved the outdoor amenities — the grill was clean and worked perfectly, and the fireplace made our evenings together warm and memorable.Sue was incredibly responsive and proactive, making sure we had all the information we needed throughout our stay.Overall, this was an amazing experience, and we’d highly recommend Sue’s Place to anyone visiting Pennsylvania!

Wonderful, fun vacation

This was a fantastic place to stay. The hostesses were very good to work with. The panoramic view from the front porch was great, hard to explain just how good it was. Our family would sit out there every morning and evening. I was there with all my kids and grandkids (15 of us).

Weekend visit was terrific

I rented this house with a handful of buddies so we could be reasonably close to Rausch creek off-road park. The house was exactly as advertised and the owner is terrific as well. This is my 2nd time renting from this owner. Highly recommended.

Wonderful home!

Beautiful home! Very clean and everything there you could need. Amazing views! My husband did not want to leave. Plenary of room for large families. We all had an amazing time staying there. Only 30 minutes from Hershey Park. Sue was wonderful and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Home Sweet Home

I really don't want to leave a good review, we wanted to keep this place a secret. But honestly, no complaints whatsoever. We had ten family members and there was still extra bedrooms. The view from the property is amazing! Thank you Sue for making us feel right at home.

Harvest Hill

This was such a beautiful property that was well equipped for a large family. The playroom downstairs was perfect for the kids. The views from the upstairs living room and dining room were spectacular. The fire pit and waterfall made the evenings so enjoyable. The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything we could need. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Most amazing place ever!

Lets start with AMAZING! From the property itself, the view, the house and the host! One of the best places to stay. Vacation Reunion

The house and property were great. The distance runners in the family got quite the workout- ending with the killer hill in front. Grandchildren spent hours chasing lightening bugs. We enjoyed traveling to Hershey Park and to Lancaster for a ball game. Sign of a great vacation - plenty to do and the TV was on twice all week!

Perfect Family Gathering

I tried to find a place that would be a fair and most equal distance for my 4 siblings to spend Thanksgiving weekend. This was a perfect spot. The view... The well appointed kitchen... The unlimited supply of games. I couldn't have asked for more. Our hosts were welcoming and gave us all we needed for the perfect family gathering. What a GEM!

We had an absolute wonderful weekend in this incredible home! We rented it for our large 7 adult children, 5 grandkids) family to use during our 5th son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and extremely well planned out as far as maximizing the view, accommodating a large group and providing several places to gather, both indoor and outdoor . The lower level game room was perfect for both our grandkids and the groomsmen who gathered there with my son the morning of the wedding! Gathering around the fire pit post wedding was such a perfect ending and allowed for extended family to join before we all heading out of town the next day. The hosts were incredible, warm, very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions! Every guest our weekend marveled at this property! I can’t wait to come up with an excuse to return for another weekend. A true gem of a rental❣️

Harvest Hill is owned and managed by five members of the Werner Family. Sue and daughter-in-law Katie oversee our listings. (We have a second listing with in a mile of Harvest Hill called Farm View.) Werner Acres is a Century Farm that has been continuously owned by 5 generations of farmers in the Werner Family. We all love farming and the beauty of country life, which we wish to share with others.
