Fully Renovated Condo Near Beach, Tiki Bar & Amazing Pool: Perdido Sunrise

This coastal cottage is ideal for enjoying everything that Perdido Key, Florida has to offer! The living room is perfect for relaxing, whether you want to kickback in front of the flat screen television, stream using the wireless internet included, read on the screened-in porch, or enjoy a board game with the family at the large dining room table. The Perdido Sunrise villa has a queen-size bed in the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a large walk-in closet that is perfect for longer stays, and the en-suite bathroom has a deep tub and separate stand-up shower. There is a queen-size bed in one guest room and two twin beds in the second guest bedroom which share a full sized bathroom between the two. For additional sleeping space, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Each of the three bedrooms also have their own televisions. On the first floor, the kitchen has updated countertops and wood cabinets and includes all the cookware, dinnerware, and flatware you need for an extended stay, plus a whisper-quite dishwasher and washer/dryer to make your visit convenient. There is a lot to do and see in this laid-back, small beach community but the most popular attraction is indisputably the azure colored water of the Gulf of Mexico with squeaky-clean white sand beaches just 0.5 mile away. On site at the resort there is an outdoor oasis swimming pool complete with a waterfall cave and a bridge access island Jacuzzi as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. The Purple Parrot Village Resort is close to everything for a picture-perfect resort getaway!

~ The Purple Parrot Tiki Bar & Grill will be closing seasonally this year for the cooler months and will not reopen until February 6, 2026. The pool and other amenities will remain open and available for guest and owner use. Needs a new cleaning lady

If you plan on cleaning the first few hours of your trip then this is the place to stay :/ Rails on the stairs were black my husband thought it was paint chipping but after a good wipe down they were white again. Kitchen is nothing like it’s pictured. Washing machine had hair all in it and smelled awful. All bedding had some type of stain on the comforters. Don’t stay here with small children. All the bed rooms have balcony’s and the doors did not shut all the way and would not lock. The balcony itself was dry rotted and definitely not safe to stand on. I think if the right cleaning people came in this property would of been a much better stay. ….

Dirty, not well maintained

Condo was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival and a few unpleasant surprises greeted us as well: - Cracker crumbs on living room floor - Orthodontic mold of teeth in kitchen cabinet - Clove cigarette (used) in master dresser drawer - Fridge dirty - Dishwasher not unloaded - Dust on nightstand - Dirty coffee filter still in coffee maker - Beach umbrellas (left from previous renter?) and broom on front porch by entrance - Large dead bug in tub Some things were not as advertised and pics of the kitchen were not the same kitchen. - No bar in kitchen…wood plank instead. People seated on bar stools didn’t have countertop to use. Cabinets had no hardware and were VERY difficult to open; countertops coming apart. Cabinets and countertops sent in pics much nicer than reality. - no hooks on hallway wall like pictured in ad (to hang wet towels; not allowed to hang over outdoor railings) - - No fitted sheets; just flat sheet over bedbug protector; so if you moved in the bed the flat sheet immediately became loose, slid down the bed; was constant battle keeping it in place - door knobs loose FYI - the closest public beach access to the property only allows a sliver of space for visitors with guards running people off if they set up their beach gear beyond the restricted boundary. We found another access point but had only a handful of parking spaces. Cops giving tickets daily to people parked in other spaces along strip (which had no signage for “no parking” so how would visitors know it’s restricted space?). Limited parking with risk of getting $130 ticket was a daily frustration. Besides the unsatisfactory state of the condo, there were some nice aspects of the property like the large pool with relaxing waterfalls, tiki huts and bar. Live music every night with an entertaining crowd. Plenty of parking space on property. Gated entrance adds extra security.

Never Again!!!!!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We paid $1904 for the week and it was a disaster. When we arrived on Saturday around 5pm we checked in and our rental was steal being cleaned. We advised the lady to take her time. She comes out in 5 minutes and states she is done. The floors downstairs had not been swept. The bathtubs had hair in them. It was not clean. Then we realize the TV in the living room had no sound, the refrigerator doesn’t work and the hot water gets maybe lukewarm. I call them and they come on Monday and fix the TV. The refrigerator needs a new part, they fix it onThursday evening. Keep in mind we go home Saturday morning. One time they bring 2 bags of ice, that was on Monday. We spent $300 on food because we were going to cook in the room. We lost around $150 of it. All they ever said was sorry and we are at the mercy of our vendors. Meanwhile they have 20t pods sitting around with new appliances but we couldn’t have one. The water was never fixed, so I bathed a special needs kid, in cold water. Many light fixtures and plus had no covers on them. The pictures were crammed around and not hung up. We paid $1904 for a $600 rental. But they did give me $200 back which they felt was generous and I took it as a joke. The only good thing was the pool and the tiki bar had okay food but a little pricey. It is not fair from the beach but the renovations make it hard to get around the property. The workers will stand or park their golf carts in the middle of the road and look at you like your the problem. We had a terrible time. We will never stay at the Purple Parrot again! Pay more and stay somewhere with nice amenities that work. Also we’re you can get someone to call you back. This place was a nightmare fromThe moment we arrived!!!

Communication and upkeep

The condo is truly represented however there were a lack of supplies and communication before the stay was not helpful. I did not get a call or email stating the check in process until I called. Also both shower curtains had mold and were not as clean as I would have expected. Also there was no extra toilet paper, trash bags or dish soap We paid a lot of money to not have these necessities. Not impressed with my first experience. I will probably stay with another provider.

Beach Vacay

We had a great time staying at the Purple Parrot Resort in this house. The house is very nice and clean. It’s right across from the tiki bar and pool. We spent most of our time hanging out in the resort. We didn’t even have to go anywhere to have a great time. You could eat, drink, and swim in their huge pool area. Live music was always being played! The only complaint we had is how bright the bedrooms are in the morning. We like to sleep in a little bit on vacation and you are wide awake at 6:30 am because of the amount of sun coming into the bedrooms. Curtains would have been a nice option! Other than that we definitely plan on coming back to visit :)
