Sleeping up to 7 guests, amenities including cable TV, wireless internet access, and an open kitchen that is fully stocked with cooking utensils that make you feel right at home. Great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and easy access to the board walk.

Towels and bed linens will be provided for you to put on yourselves. At checkout please take off and leave them on the bed.
Also at checkout take all trash out, clean all dirty dishes and put away, and roll trash cans to the street side for Tuesday morning pickup

A quick weekend getaway was much needed for a few mamas and this house was perfect for just that. We each had our own space which was nice. The location was super convenient as it was on the main street leading right to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing cottage near the boardwalk and beach

The Cottage was perfect. It’s only a few blocks from anything that you might want or need. It’s literally a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and beach. There are tons of restaurants and stores within 5 minutes as well! The Cottage has plenty of space for the whole family, and is stocked with everything you may possibly need for a week long stay. So many cool things to check out in the area. Fort Fisher, The Aquarium, Kure Beach Pier,The Battleship Carolina, as well as many trails at the state park. I definitely recommend trying Britt’s Donuts on the boardwalk, Uncle Vinny’s for New York style pizza, The Peach Cobbler Factory for cobbler flights,The veggie wagon for freshly made ready to cook dinners, dips, unique items, coffee and veggies. We really loved the Cottage and the area and would definitely rent it again.

Great location, many maintenance issues

The house was in great location but there were many maintenance issues. - outside shower is clogged, but also the fixture and hot side supply line are broken/cracked spraying water everywhere. - Numerous lightbulbs did not work in the property, the kitchen, the bedroom with the bunkbeds, the back porch.. the light flickers, and has some sort of electrical issue. - The bedroom with the bunkbeds has no way to latch/close the door properly. The half bath in the hallway has an eye hook to secure the door because the latch and strike plate is missing. - The refrigerator, water filter and ice filter need replaced. There were bits of black mold and dirt in the ice due to the filters needing replaced and the refrigerator needing cleaned properly. - swarms of mosquitoes were around the house and everyone got bit up horribly. Recommend treatment around the property. - The screened in back porch has numerous holes in the screening where someone used masking tape to try and cover the holes instead of properly rescreening. - Showerheads on the inside, have hard water deposits and many of the spouts are clogged or spraying in odd directions. - The house itself wasn’t very clean on check-in. Even though it advertises no pets or animals, the vacuums were filled with pet hair and the house smelled of wet dog. It’s a great house but needs to be better kept by the PMC.

Pleasant surprise

My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at Joree’s cottage. The home itself was perfect. Very clean and included everything you would need in a home. The location was excellent. Just a quick 10 minute walk to the boardwalk, entertainment, Shops, and restaurants. You were close enough to all the fun but far enough where you enjoyed quiet time in the evening. I haven’t been to Carolina Beach in over 12 years and was pleasantly surprised with not only the home and location but everything Carolina Beach has to offer. If you are planning on visiting Carolina Beach I would consider renting a Golf Cart. There were so many families traveling in this manner and it looked so enjoyable. In addition, Joree was wonderful to work with. She was prompt in her responses to any questions we had. I would definitely book her property again!!!

Charming cottage! enjoyed our visit

This cottage had great character and solid bones. Loved the screened in porch for morning coffee or evening drinks. Everything was very clean and bds were comfortable. Might need to upgrade pillows but wasn’t a big deal. Offered both a keurig and a drip pot coffee pot. New large refrigerator. Enjoyed our stay!

This was our second stay at this place. Stocked kitchen and very clean. Plenty of space for a mom and 3 teens. The location is our favorite thing about this place. Lots nearby including the beach and amusement park and small grocery store 2 blocks away

Had a great time. Property is a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Boardwalk was great fun on Friday night for the grandkids with rides and fireworks.

Great location for weekend getaway

We brought my mom to the beach to celebrate a milestone birthday and this cottage was the perfect fit for our family of 6. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and still be together. Only 3 steps to get up to the cottage was helpful for my mom who had mobility issues. Being able to walk to the main downtown area of Carolina Beach, made it easy for us to take the kids out for a walk and not need to use the car or pick up takeout from one of the local restaurants.

The cottage was so adorable and the perfect walking distance to all the fun. The host was quick to respond with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this home for any of my friends or family looking to stay at Carolina Beach.

Great place to stay!

Great spot for a vacation! Beach, restaurants, and boardwalk activities are a short walk away. The home had everything we needed, and the host was very accommodating and easy to reach. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful stay

Our stay was great. Would definitely stay again. Close to everything we needed, pictures don’t do the house justice it was plenty of room for the six of us. I rented a golf cart to get around and we had a very good time.
