Beach bungalow at pistachio: one block from the beach and Tiki bar

We fell in love with CB back in 2015. We were actually visiting the Wilmington area because our daughter was competing in a triathlon. The charm and the vibe of Carolina Beach, of Pleasure Island, was undeniable. We kept talking about the possibility of buying, and then we did. We love it here and know our guests will too!

This property wasn’t even on our radar. We were actually looking for a lot. But Allison is always checking out the local listings and then this property popped up. When we first saw it, we loved the lot, but the poor house. We learned that it was actually a military barrack that had been relocated from Fort Fisher to its current location on Bowfin Ln. At that point, we embraced this little house’s history and decided to renovate. The final result is now called Pistachio Bungalow. Pistachio for the obnoxiously bright green that the house was once painted, and Bungalow because of it’s relaxing vibe and it’s size. It has everything you could want though. And the backyard and screened in porch are the perfect spot to unwind and relax after a long day on the beach. Literally a 3 minute walk to the ocean as well as to the infamous “Tike Bar”.

It’s location, hands down. Pistachio Bungalow is situated on Bowfin Lane, just off the very popular Tennessee Avenue and it’s traffic controlled crosswalk that leads directly to the beach access.
