It was the perfect spot to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday. We had a girls weekend. The cabin had everything we needed and was close to a lot of great restaurants, a beach and a brat festival with fireworks one night. The owner was very helpful and answered questions very quickly.

The host, Jim was very hospitable. The setting is really pretty and quiet. The location was great, as you can walk to the beach, the Green Grocer for awesome sandwiches and most importantly, the liquor store is just a few steps away. We really enjoyed it and will be back. Thanks Jim!

Sleeping cabin in Williams Bay

Quiet and comfortable, walking distance to the lake and Williams Bay. Great for families with 3 beds and two bathrooms. Would recommend.

Great stay!

Property was clean, in a safe area and just a quick drive from all Lake Geneva has to offer. Jim was easy to communicate with - a great host! Perfect spot for our little getaway.

Location was in great proximity to everything you could need in the area. Owner was very responsive and available for any questions or concerns.

This was a perfect weekend stop on our way to Chicago from Minneapolis! The cabin is exactly as described. Contrary to other reviews, we found the beds to be comfortable and the tv worked just fine. We enjoyed walking to the Williams Bay beach area and it's a quick drive or uber to the Lake Geneva hot spots. We would stay here again!

Weekend getaway.

Came up for a weekend getaway and concert at the Alpine Valley music amphitheater and had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. Within walking distance of local shops and food just a few blocks from the lake and a short drive to Alpine Valley. Had a great time around the fire ring with some old friend and made some new ones as well. Overall excellent trip!

Jim. Greeted us and showed us the unit. Also, he made it a point to let us know that whatever we needed to contact him as he would be around. Overall, it was a good experience!

This property was great for overflow at our home.

We invited too many people to our home over the 4th. We rented this cabin for the overflow. It was perfect. Four adults stayed in it comfortably. They mainly used it for sleeping and showering. They appreciated the two bathrooms. Will do this again in the future as it was affordable.

No frills but clean.

Jim was timely and responsive. Beds are comfy and cabin clean. This cabin is as it reads- for sleeping. If you want to cook and gather a group- choose another cabin. It would be nice if the property had some landscaping and a dedicated outdoor spot/patio for small groups.

Just what we needed

We were in the area for a wedding and need a place that allowed our large dog. Jim was very easy to communicate with and provided us with everything we needed. The space was perfect for us and our big buddy. He loved walking the property and getting to sniff everything. I appreciated the large bed and dual bathrooms so both my husband and I could get ready when we needed to.

It was about 3am. There's no heat . Electric Walmart heater keeps turning on and off. We have a 6 mo old . If it's cold and you have a baby beware

Thanks Nathan for your feedback. We are a Premier Host on VRBO. The heating system has programable functions, which we showed the guest how to use. Then we made it simple for them just to turn the heat up and down. We assured them that we are less than a mile away, and could contact us any time if they were having difficulties. We also offered them another property at no additional charge, and they declined, saying there were already settled in. When they checked out, they said the heating system was turning on and off. I asked, why they did not contact me? there was no answer. When we checked, they attempted to program the heating system again, and apparently could not figure it out. Again we are sorry this happened, not sure what else we could have done for them. One Star is very unfair.

Clean sleeping cabin with a few perks

The cabin worked for us. We were on a girls weekend away. Cooked some meals in( with an electric skillet and crockpot that we brought with us.). The heat worked well, the cabin was clean, we were pleasantly surprised by the regular size refrigerator. Two of the three beds were super comfy. The setting was quaint. I think we were some of the first visitors of the season, as our check in was later than promised ( by 1/2 hour), a few basics were missing( bathroom waste cans, and corkscrew-but we bought one and left it there) For basic, no frills lodging...the cabin worked. Jim offered a great local resort for a fun fish fry, Lake Geneva is a beautiful city, lots of shops and restaurants. We were with friends, so we had a great weekend.

Thanks Rose! Happy we could provide your first experience in the area! Yes, this is a "No Frills" Sleeping Cabin. It has three Queens and Two Bathrooms, really for those that will be out and about for Weddings, Parties, Concerts etc... Jim

Didn’t realize it was a motel

Fixtures missing bulbs, cars in and out of the lot. One of the toilet handles was discombobulated. One tiny garbage can for the whole unit. Tv didn’t change channels any randomly turned on in the middle of the night. Beds were very stiff. We made friends with the spiders in the corner. Other than that, it wasn’t very far from a lot of activities and some good food. If I had to do it again I would stay somewhere else

Thanks for the three Stars Daniell. Well, we have less bulbs because other quests said it was too bright. There is a large garbage can under the Microwave area, we will put in a better place. Mattresses are new, and most people asked for a firmer Mattress . Sorry about the spiders, we are in a wooded area, and do our best to keep those spiders out. Jim

Just wish...

The host was wonderful and property was in a good location but be aware that 2/3 the beds were quite uncomfortable 😬. Be prepared. Knowing these matresses are only a step or two above the comfort of cardboard. Basic low end pillows and minimal bed linen. Floor has some issues, where "panels are not welll supported and you may just get the bottom of your foot pinched between slats, if you dont watch where you step if in socks/ barefoot. Do remember to bring your own "kitchen" supplies. There are only coffee filters,(No coffee) no toweling. Pleanty of quality towels

Thanks Peg for the FOUR STAR Review! We describe this one as our Sleeping Cabin with a very small kitchen area not conducive for heavy Cooking like our other listings. There are new floors in the bathroom areas, and wood floors in this Cabin. We may replace those, but they are very well taken care of, and all natural. There are no slats to get your toe caught (Thats kinda Funny!!). We have good quality beds in all our Cabins. So, when Peg arrived, she brought several more people that she not liston the reservation. I told her it would be tight space wise with the additional people. And I must say, they were fairly Large people to be sleeping on those beds.! Anyways, they were nice people who told me they enjoyed their stay! Jim

Quite get away

An older cabin but was clean and Jim was a great host! It's like camping with walls and a/c! Perfect location for getting around Lake Geneva. Refrigerators worked great and kept out beer ice cold! Thank you Jim!

clean, affordable and very nice location

this place was just what we needed. had a great time and JIm was great and helped out with all requests. We will be staying at one of his cabins when we come back to the lake!
