Tranquility, peace, and privacy - you'll have it all at House on Delegal!

This single-story private home is in a quiet residential area in the heart of St. Simons. The nearest beach access is only about 1.2 miles away! Enjoy being close to St. Simons' best beaches, the Village Pier, restaurants, and the St. Simons community pool. You will even be close to St. Simons' newest attraction - the pickleball courts!

Tastefully decorated and furnished. The large living room and the separate dining room are perfect for entertaining. Spend your afternoons sun tanning in the spacious and private fenced backyard, or have lunch on the large deck with plenty of seating. Linens provided. Beds consist of 1 king, 2 queens, and 1 set of twin bunk beds. Pets are welcome with a $200 pet fee (dogs only, limit 2).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fun week at House on Delegal. It was a convenient location, house was roomy for 3 couples, 1/2 bath was nice to have. The deck in back was a nice place to gather morning and night in October. We had small dogs, privacy fence had large gaps at the bottom, smallest dog escaped several time. House was clean and comfortable, kitchen well supplied.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is in a lovely location. It is very clean and spacious. It is a quick walk to the quaint downtown area. The 5K race path ran in front of the house. It was amazing to see large groups of family and friends participate. Military groups participated and it was a wonderful sight to behold. We were there for the annual golf cart parade and it was quite the turnout. The fireworks display rivaled any I’ve ever seen. The management staff is gracious and helpful. It was a pleasure to be warmly welcomed.

Great vacation home

Property was clean, spacious, amenities were even more than expected which was a bonus. Quiet neighborhood in a great location. The AC worked great and back yard was clean and private. If you are bringing a dog, which we did there is a high fence that borders the entire backyard.

This year it was cleaner than in the past which was a good thing; however, the air conditioner cannot cool the entire house. The temperature rarely got below 75 degrees which is very warm for our hot humid summers. The house is well stocked and well maintained.

We have always enjoyed our stay there but this year there was an issue with the air conditioner. We left it on 73 as instructed but it was 73 only in the dining room where the thermostat is located. It was very warm in the bedrooms. Maybe the unit is not equipped to cool the entire house any longer...

Reviewer Comments: Very nice house and furnishings, lots of extras (towels, soap, linens, dishes) It was very clean and arranged nicely with lots of open room, even had a play-fort in the backyard with a privacy fence. The only thing we noticed was the AC didn't quite cool the master BR as much as we would have liked. We really enjoyed our stay and will book with Golden Isles again. Highly recommend this company.
