Enjoy the best of Maine’s southern coast in this spacious, newly renovated two-story, four-bedroom home just two homes away from the sandy shores of Hills Beach and offering beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Nestled on a quiet, dead-end road that leads directly to the beach, the property offers easy access to both the ocean and the scenic Saco River.

The home features a private entrance, large yard perfect for outdoor games, and a lovely patio and outdoor dining area ideal for alfresco meals. Inside, you'll find a comfortable layout with a first-floor master bedroom complete with a private en suite bath, and a second full bathroom upstairs. Stay connected with available Wi-Fi, and enjoy the convenience of off-street parking in a shared driveway.

You're just 15 minutes from both Kennebunkport and Old Orchard Beach, and only 25 minutes from downtown Portland. The University of New England is within walking distance, making this a perfect option for visiting families, faculty, or students.

Please note: A smaller section of the yard is adjacent to the private 3-bedroom guesthouse on the property, which is listed separately (ID #1143727). The guesthouse is also available for UNE winter rental students from August 2026 through May 2027.

Absolutely wonderful property and lodging with accommodations. Lots of room inside and outside to spread out and be comfortable. Can't beat the location. 100 yds off a private beach. Very accessible to une campus as well. Owner is a pleasure to work with and attention to detail in the house is clearly evident. Recommend for a quality experience.

Best Family Beach House in Maine

This house is clean and in walking distance to a beautiful calm beach that is ideal for all age groups It is a place where vacation family memories are made The owners are super helpful and have provided everything needed for our stay even suggestions to good eating places in the area

Beautiful house in Biddeford

We had a great stay, thank you! The house is beautiful, wonderfully decorated. It has everything you could possibly need. And it's in a great location near everything, I'd love to go back for a stay in the summer and enjoy the beach.

Great stay

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Was beautiful, spacious, clean. Property owners were very responsive and even included small welcome gifts for the kids. There were plenty of games and toys available at the house to keep my kids entertained while we were there. We loved it

Summer vacation

We booked this property much later than we typically do for the summertime. We loved that it was available for our impromptu dates. Great location so close to the beach. The property was gorgeous and loved by all of us. We would absolutely stay here again.

Gorgeous home just steps from the beach

Beautifully decorated home, very clean and comfortable for our family of 7 adults and a baby. All of the family agreed that their favorite part of the vacation was just hanging out at the VRBO and playing games/watching movies because it was so comfortable and homey.We would have given 5 stars for everything but the listing was accidentally mislabeled as having a hot tub and there wasn’t one.Great communication with the owner, and loved all of the little touches to welcome us to their home. Would definitely stay here again!

4 Long Ave Biddeford stay

Wonderful rental property and our 2nd time there. Well kept and appointed. Owners are top shelf people and accesible for questions and help. Just a short walk to teh bacj is a plus and the rear patio and yard and nice to enjoy too. Highly recommend.

best family rental in Maine

This is by far the best family reunion house we have rented. We have been coming to Maine since 2009. The owners are supper helpful, it is walking distance to a great beach for children, the house is clean/welcoming and can accomodate a bigger family comfortably. They have placed a lot of attention to detail and can be reached easily. A great place to make lasting memories.

We had a great time at this rental! The property was clean & very comfortable. Plenty of space for our family to spread out and enjoy their time there. Had a little problem with the lock and once with power upstairs but Kim & Tim were quick to get it taken care of. Overall was a great rental and a great week! Hoping to rent this property again next summer!

A beautiful and welcoming property within walking distance to Hill Beach. The added treat basket and vase of flowers added to the warmth of the welcome. I am sure that various groups, including ones with children, would love this place! The home is also very close to Ogunquit, Kennebunkport and even Portland. I would definitely stay her again!

Large, roomy, well stocked, and very convenient! Attended UNE graduation. Easily room for three couples, with a room to spare. Plenty of seating in both the living room and dining area. Kitchen well stocked. Owners responsive! We would return in a heartbeat!

Best Vacation Ever!

We stayed here 2 years ago and loved it so much we came back! The house is absolutely perfect. It’s so beautiful and the hosts have included many touches that make it feel “just like home” for families. The home is clean and well maintained and the location is amazing! We were steps away from the beach and only a short drive to several different little towns with lots to do! We will absolutely stay here again. The hosts, Kim and Tim, are so kind and helpful. They gave us great recommendations and were very easy to reach. Honestly this was just the greatest stay from beginning to end!

Perfect spot for a family vacation!

I grew up going to Hills Beach with my family, and we were looking for a place where we could all get together under one roof again. This was the ideal spot! The house was everything that was advertised in the listing with plenty of space for us. Kim and Tim were fantastic and friendly hosts who really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Can’t say enough about the property or the experience. Great location only two houses from the beach and the front porch was a great place to enjoy the summer weather! We’d absolutely stay again next time.

Great Stay on the Maine Coast

After touring New Hampshire, we traveled to Biddeford, to enjoy the Maine coast at Hill’s Beach. Our house was lovely, well decorated, and cozy. The beds were very comfortable, with great linens. The kitchen was attractive and well equipped. The house is located on a quite street, just a short, easy walk to the beach. There’s a good view of the ocean from the upstairs windows, and we enjoyed daily walks on the beach. There are tons of great restaurants in Biddeford and Saco, and Kennebunkport is just a short drive away. We definitely recommend this location and this house.

Don’t miss out on this one!

Your walk to the beach is approximately 45 seconds from the front door until your feet hit the sand. It’s the quietest neighborhood ever….except when the old fashion ice cream truck rolls up the street playing the tunes you’ll remember from your childhood days! So cool! Gorgeous home steps from the beach.

My daughter and I stayed at this property over the Christmas holiday. I grew up in Maine and my sister lives in Biddeford. Coming from Houston, I miss the ocean so wanted to stay where I could walk to the beach. This home is excellent. It’s spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need. I hosted my siblings and their families for dinner one evening and there was plenty of room. The owners were very responsive. The neighbors are lovely. I met one neighbor and we chatted for some time as he was out plowing driveways. I highly recommend this home and would stay there again.

This is my third time renting from Kim… this property is amazing… always a calm relaxing time… away from all the hustle and bustle, but close enough to local attractions.Kim is always a responsive host, she offered great recommendations when needed. Wonderful property!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our son's first beach trip! The house was beautiful and steps to the quiet beach. We've never seen such a cool low tide! We had everything we needed in the house, including books and toys for our 18 month old. Communication was fast and pleasant and check in/out was a breeze. We can't wait to come back!

Great home and beautiful beach!

The home was beautiful on a nice quiet street and was close to a beautiful beach. The owner’s recommendation to explore the beach at low tide was the highlight of the trip for our young daughter. The house had all cooking utensils needed, and the yard was perfect to play in.
