Cozy 2 Bed 2 Bath waterfront cottage on beautiful High Rock Lake- fully updated

This well maintained 2 level home has plenty of living space and is completely furnished for a relaxing getaway. The oversized 3 level back deck is fully furnished with an outdoor sectional and dining table and leads to a floating dock with 50' of waterfront. The back yard is completely fenced in, so the pups can run around while you sit back and enjoy the lake.

The kitchen is bright with a modern stainless refrigerator, range, dishwasher and built in microwave. It is well stocked with all the every day cooking utensils you will need. Indoor dining table seats 4, with a removable leaf if more space is required. Front load washer and dryer is available for use.

The master bedroom upstairs has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom, along with a catwalk that leads to an upstairs balcony. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and is directly across from the main floor bathroom. Recently renovated loft upstairs has two built-in full size beds.


Propane grill available for use and the stone fire pit patio is perfect for outdoor entertaining and evening s'mores.

This lake house has become our go-to summer retreat, and for good reason! The fully stocked kitchen is a game-changer - we easily hosted a dinner party for 10 people without missing a single utensil or dish. The host has truly thought of everything.The location is terrific with really nice lake views, and we love spending time on the multiple decks and outdoor seating areas. There's always a perfect spot to relax, whether you want morning coffee with a view or evening cocktails watching the sunset. The lake itself is wonderfully quiet and ideal for kayaking.What really sets this place apart is the host's attention to detail and commitment to improvement. Each summer we return, there are thoughtful new additions that enhance the experience. The welcome meal and coffee upon arrival are such a lovely touch that makes you feel immediately at home.The neighborhood is fantastic too - the neighbors are genuinely friendly and helpful, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. This property offers the perfect combination of a beautiful natural setting, excellent amenities, and warm hospitality. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Nice relaxing weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in this updated and well equipped home. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the showers were extremely refreshing. Neighbors on both sides were very nice. Would book this location again. Oh, and the fishing was great.

Lakefront cozy cabin

We enjoyed our stay it accommodated our family of 5 very well! Loved the sun coming in the windows. Location was nice as well!Had everything we needed for making ourselves at home! Great place to stay!

Great stay

Great communication with owners, property clearly well thought out and cared for. Appreciated the nice little touches, the snacks and supplies to make spaghetti dinner were so thoughtful. Everything works as expected, supplies in the house were such that we could have showed up with just our clothes and been fine. Caught a couple fish off the dock and rented a pontoon boat and weee able to keep it docked at the house which was really convenient.

This is such a cute house with everything you need for your stay. My son was getting married at Board and Batten Events and it was only 2 miles away. Great place!

Family Vacation 2024

We take an annual family vacation and selected this rental for our 2024 trip. We were not disappointed. The home was so cute and well decorated and we loved being right on the water. We caught several different kinds of fish this trip and really enjoyed the kayaks the hosts had for us to use. The host was incredibly kind and worked with us when we had some last minute changes, sheā€™s quick to reply, and even left a welcome package of essentials. Recommend!

June family trip

We really liked this house-everything about it was comfortable and family friendly. I was pleased to have enough towels and washcloths. The deck, grill, long table, lights were so nice. We called the boat rental provided in the book and rented a pontoon on Sunday. The basket of goodies was a nice touch and came in handy.

Lexington is a diamond in the rough and this place is the jewel! lovely home, great layout and design. the back yard is perfect for relaxing with views of the lake and plenty to do. Love the use of the kayaks. I highly recommend this place!

We had an amazing time and this spot on the lake didn't have as much boat traffic as other spots we've stayed which was nice. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and the host were extremely hospitable.

Do not look at any other property!!

This home on a quiet lovely cove on High Rock is a dream come true. Itā€™s even more beautiful inside and out than what you view online. All the amenities you want and need are there. Well stocked, clean, modern appliances, spacious living area, extremely comfortable beds. We had my husband and myself, our 2 daughters and their husbands who brought their dogs. The property is fenced in so the doggoā€™s could run and play! They loved the water. 2 kayaks and other water goodies easily found on the bottom deck. There is a cool floating dock. The neighbors next door (year rounders) were a delight and so friendly. In another review posted a year or so ago someone made a comment about their ā€œbig dogsā€ but they are not big. They are sweet. Sureā€¦they are there and they do bark( as dogs will do) But they are friendly! They just have ā€œa lot to sayā€ Our dogs loved them. Beth the owner is the best. Very generous and accommodating! We think the world of jet. When we arrived there was a basket of goodies waiting for us! We will definitely be returning. Do you yourselves a huge favor. Book this property and see for yourselves.!

Super Clean and Super Cute!

This property was exactly as represented and was very clean. Amenities were nice and waterfront was great. The only issue was it was a little farther out than it seemed it would be and there were lots of terrifying large dogs on both sides of the home. They were usually in a fence (but could jump it) near the home entrance and with little lapdogs, it was a bit stressful. We also recieved a notice on the day before check in, to not walk through the neighborhood or have our dogs out front due to unfriendly dogs running loose in the neighborhood. Other than that an a little low water pressure this property was GREAT! The master with the attached bathroom was wonderful for taking a breather from my adult kids and the two full size loft beds made it easy to have a couple visitors that were only there for a night. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances worked well!

Thanksgiving Getaway

Super cute and modern canal frontage cottage. Has everything you could possibly need. My family relax on the three decks facing the canal listening to the birds and wind blowing through the oak trees. Has everything needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Full size washer and dryer for your convenience. Kitchen offered full size refrigerator, full size cooking range, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include showers. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. We were very comfortable in this beautiful cottage. The neighbors were extremely friendly. We loved our stay building family holiday memories.

Excellent Stay!

Cute and Cozy home! There was a gift basic that was a true surprise and something for all of us to enjoy. The beds were comfortable. The kids loved the loft beds/nooks. Well kept and clean! Even though it was chilly on our stay we really enjoyed it! We hope to return in the spring or summer.

Charming home on a sweet lake

We had a wonderful fall stay at this lovely Little Lake home. The small spaces were very well used, the decor was warm and inviting, and so many windows and places to hang out and chill inside and out! It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked. Though a little chilly for swimming, we managed to get out in the kayaks a couple of times, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And one more great thing, some places that are pet friendly arenā€™t secured well on the entire grounds, but the entire grounds of this home was fenced, and so my pup could run around anywhere and wherever she wanted! We will definitely be back!

Cozy autumn lodge

My family and I had a great time staying in this adorable spot on the lake. The scenery is especially beautiful in October with all the leaves changing. Our hosts were also extremely accommodating and friendly. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing getaway

The house was just as described. Had an amazing family getaway. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and I enjoyed being able to take my boat and tie up at the property. Overall was an awesome weekend
