CASA CORAZON CALIDO This house was inspired by the beautiful changes in light as the day transforms from morning to afternoon to nightfall. Each room takes guest on a journey through a day on the beach. in this carefully curated house a large wrap around porch takes guests from room to room. Art nooks with a spiritual vibes invite guests to pause and meditate. Guests are transported the moment they enter through the large hand carved pivot teak door. Immediately your eye is drawn to the ocean beyond. An Indonesian hand carved bench will invite guests to sit and relax. Foyer: The great room is the main communal space of the home. The neutral color palette keeps the focus on the gorgeous view. We incorporated natural textiles such as a leather rug, linen, and shells to accentuate the indoor outdoor lifestyle. The room is anchored by an original mixed media Johanna Van Parijs composition. The dining area features a long table and oversized capiz shell chandelier. This chandelier will sparkle as the wind hits it and the light defuses through the translucent gold-wrapped shells. A cozy lounge area seamlessly opens up to the pool and patio. Midnight Room: This room evokes the mystery and restfulness of the dark night on the beach. The color palette of navy blues and eggplant embrace guests. A crackle chandelier feels like the moon glistening on the expansive ocean. Single beds can be combined to form multiple sleeping arrangements. The room opens up to a private mediation garden. Mid-day Room: The inspiration for this room was that moment when you’ve been laying out on the beach all morning and you wake up in the afternoon not knowing how long you’ve been sleeping. The colors are all washed out. The world moves a little slower in this space is anchored by a natural edge slab bed. Nightstands are clad in mother of pearl and silver leaf. A large booze chandelier reminds guests of the blazing noon sun. A neutral color palette of sand, cream, and white give the room a restful vibe. Sunset room: Watching the sunset over the pacific ocean is one of the most amazing experiences and the inspiration for this master suite. Pale pinks, oranges, and blues combine to make this space evoke the colors of the sunset. A floating swing chair is the best seat to watch the sunset from this room. The bed is a white geometric carved bed. The nightstands are wrapped in golden seagrass.
