This amazing property has a view spanning Kachemak Bay and the Chugach Mountain Range. Wake up with coffee on the deck with a view of Grewingk Glacier. The fields of fireweed are incredible! The yard is often visited by Sand Hill Cranes and Moose. Feel the freedom as the Cranes, Eagles, and Canadian Geese soar overhead. Relax on the deck, and grill your catch of the day,while watching the boats on the Bay. Plan an evening around the fire pit and make smores and memories! We offer yard games for the lawn, and table games inside.

This four bedroom home accommodates large families or groups, like fishermen and women, who need multiple single beds. There are 2 bedrooms on the first level, The South facing room has a queen bed and a sleeping loft. The loft is only appropriate for a child. The North Bedroom features a queen. The main floor bath has a tub/shower combination and laundry facilities.
Upstairs is the Master Bedroom featuring a queen bed and ensuite bath with a raised Jacuzzi tub and custom shower. The Master has a lounge area with a full-size futon. The second floor North bedroom, our bunk room, has 4 singles..

This property was absolutely beautiful and extremely comfortable for the group of us staying. We used every bed, and we still all felt as if we had our own personal space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glacier Haus. The view just can not be beat! The house was perfect for our family-plenty of space and great for the seniors because of the living space on first level. Connie was absolutely great. Easy to get ahold of and quick with solutions.

Family vacation

My daughters and their husbands and 2 grandsons, 5 and 8, and I were very comfortable and pleased with the house. The house was spacious and the view was spectacular. The boys had s'mores at the firepit. The house is centrally located to Homer and stores were close by. We had come for a family reunion and plan to come back on our own in the future. Incredible views

Connie was so easy to work with. She made booking this trip so easy for us and was very responsive. The house was beautiful and the views even better. The only thing we encountered was this was not a 5 bedroom, its 4 with a loft perfect for little ones. With 5 adult couples we were forced to rent a small cabin also. Other than that i would highly recommend this house.

Everything we hoped for and more!

We loved our stay at the Glacier Haus! The view was so much more beautiful than we expected from the pictures. We could have just sat on the deck and enjoyed the view for our whole stay and be happy. There was great space for us to get the kids outside to play games. We fished, hiked, enjoyed family game nights, and truly enjoyed our stay! And Connie is seriously one of the best hosts I have had the pleasure to work with and that is saying a lot!

Fabulous property, wonderful hist

Our first Vrbo, this was a quick trip to Homer just to get away before the summer ended. The house is in great condition and was very spacious for our family of 4. The location is great, just a few minutes from the city. And then thereā€™s the view. The view from the back deck is awe-inspiring and worth it by itself. Our hist was hospitable, responsive to all our questions, and welcoming to my family on their first trip to the best state in the nation. We will be back.

Great views!

The views from this house overlooking the bay and mountains was amazing! We had 2 families stay in the house (total of 11). The unit was big enough for everyone with plenty of beds, towels, etc. There was plenty of seating. The mud room was nice with so many shoes and jackets. The house is 10 minutes to the spit, so it was close to everything. Only complaint is sound travels easily in the house (floors are squeaky and voices carry to the bedrooms). Overall, great house!

July stay @ Glacier Haus

This was our 3rd time to stay at Glacier Haus and it did not disappoint. It is a wonderful house for 2 families with enough space for everyone. The kitchen is really well equipped and we made several dinners which we were able to enjoy out on the beautiful deck. We're already thinking about when we can return!
