Thank you for sharing your well appointed home with us! We had a wonderful long weekend. The water and beach is beautiful. It is so peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing weekend!

The property is beyond gorgeous! The beach right out our back door was incredible. 5 minutes from the cute little town of Northport. Steve was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Summer trip

Very nice house overall that works well for a large group. The back yard is especially nice. The only odd thing is the bath room that has an opening into the kitchen at the top of the ceiling. Northport is a great little town.

That opening (11' from the floor) is to let natural south light into the bathroom and hall. We have stained glass being made for that spot which has been delayed because of covid.

Perfect for a family vacation

The property was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities needed to feel right at home. The bedroom set up was perfect for our three family groups to come together for the week. The best feature by far was the amazing beach, sandy bottom water, and beautiful bay views. All within minutes from the village of Northport. We will be going back.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Leelanau Blue! It was the perfect home base for our three-generation family of twelve—my wife and I, our two daughters, their husbands, and six grandchildren—during an unforgettable week in Northern Michigan.The home is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed, and exceptionally well stocked with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing lake vacation. The spacious kitchen and large refrigerator easily accommodated our group. The living room was another favorite gathering place, with an oversized, comfortable sectional and a cabinet filled with games for all ages.The bunk room was perfect for the six young cousins and gave them a special space to spend time together and make lasting memories. Every part of the home was smartly designed to comfortably accommodate a large group—and the photos truly do not do it justice.Our favorite feature was the gorgeous backyard and waterfront. The views from the house were beautiful, and we loved relaxing on the back deck, sitting in the Adirondack chairs by the beach, and gathering around the fire pi in the evenings. The owner was incredibly kind, attentive, and considerate, checking in by text throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. We also appreciated the excellent recommendations for local events, restaurants, and places to explore.Leelanau

This home is magnificent!!!!! It’s located perfectly for a mix of visiting the local wineries and relaxing in nature. The house itself is newly updated with lots of space for gathering. Our group especially loved hanging out on the dock over the CLEAREST blue water you’ve ever seen. Absolutely recommend!

We had an amazing time staying in Northport at Steve's place! The house was perfect for our 3 families, the pictures really don't do the house and views justice. The house is well stocked and in great condition. It was chilly during our stay so we didn't get to maximize our time on the beach but the views are amazing and we enjoyed sitting out by the water. We would definitely come back!

Great Beach House for a large family

We had a great time getting back to where I had spent summer vacations for over 50 years before we sold our family cottage. This beach house was well appointed, clean and the owner was very responsive and caring.

Fell in love with Leelanau

The home was beautiful and accommodated our large group perfectly. There are many amazing outdoor experiences within a short distance of the home making the location ideal. Would recommend this property very highly!

Perfect getaway

The beachfront is perfect. We loved paddle boarding, lunch on the deck and then s’mores from the fire on the beach. The kids loved the bunk room. We even loved the neighbors. The town was cute with a great bakery and a great brewery, along with cute shops. Highly recommend.

Perfect Vacation

Had a great fall family vacation at the property! Great location and exactly as advertised. Home owner was very great to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate my group on short notice. Beach area was fantastic! Really enjoyed fire pit and outdoor lights. Home was very clean and had a ton of space. Kids loved the bunk beds! Would highly recommend the property for a family vacation!

BestMichiganGetaway!

We had such a fantastic time in Michigan. The beach access right out the back door was phenomenal with little ones, totally eliminated having to carry all the things to and from the beach for a visit. Separation of bedrooms was perfect for a family stay/comfortable sleeping arrangements. Owner was so friendly and made extremely available. We are already looking at our calendar for when we'll be back next year! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

The cottage was great and the view of the bay was fantastic. We spent a lot of time in the beach. Steve answered all our questions and responded quickly.

Lovely week

This is the perfect house for accessing this part of Northport Bay. Two of the bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room have entrances onto a lovely wrap-around porch leading to the private beach. The children spent hours in the lake. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and modern.

Simply Amazing!

The property was beautiful and the view was spectacular! While we didn't have the best weather the comfort of the home and the view made up for it! Steve is a great host. He was helpful with recommendations and available for any questions we had. We will definitely be back!!

A Great Lake Retreat

The beach and water are the stars of this location - the clear, shallow, beautiful water and soft sugar sand, just steps from the house, were perfect for our little ones and the whole family. The house is newly renovated, modern, and quite comfortable as well, with views of the lake from all the main rooms. We had a wonderful family vacation here in this very special part of Michigan.

An Up North Paradise

This property is a true Beach House. It is completely as described. All rooms were clean and tidy. The kitchenware (pots and pans, silverware and plates and bowls) and appliances were top notch. This house fit our party of 10, which included 4 young children, with ease. Off the kitchen / great room was a full width deck that made the house feel bigger than it actually is. The kids loved the bunk room with its own couch and TV. For a group of this size, 3 bathrooms were a must. Outside, beyond the deck, was a grass area for lawn games and beyond that a big sand beach which the kids put to use. This led to crystal clear water and a long dock with plenty of seating room at the end of it to ponder clouds, sunsets and life. Northport, just a few minutes away, is quaint with gift shops, a great bakery, grocery store and restaurants. We rented a pontoon boat in Northport and saw the sites along the bay. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would do it again.

Perfect Find!

Beautiful property. Everything we were looking for--from a 6 year old to a 66 year old and many ages in between!!--including teenage boys!!! Perfect space to have privacy and gather the family together for meals and games!!!

Amazing!!

What a beautiful home. The house is inmaculate, every room is decorate nicely with a European style. The kitchen has a stunning countertops and new appliances.The views and the sand beach were awesome. The owner respond your messages quick. This house have everything you need for a family-friends weekend. We will be back soon!
