This listing is for condo #3. Condos 1 and 4 are on the ground floor which share a shaded cement patio, condos 2 and 3 are on the second floor which share a deck, all four overlooking the Yellowstone River. Each condo is equipped with outdoor furniture and a BBQ grill.

Welcome to your basecamp for your southwest Montana/ Yellowstone vacation! We have a very friendly manager and staff should you need anything during your stay.
Located on the banks of the Yellowstone River, 11 miles north of Gardiner, Montana, Yellowstone Riverfront Condos offer a unique vacation opportunity!

There are four 2-bedroom, 1 bath units in this two-story structure; each unit has a laundry room, WIFI, two private entrances, gas grill, and expansive outdoor areas with a riverfront view that perfectly captures the sunsets in Yankee Jim Canyon. These units can be rented individually or are perfect for large groups needing an entire floor or the whole building. There is also a private trail to the river for fishing access on the Yellowstone River. Each unit sleeps 4; the beds can be configured as kings or XL twins.

The property is located at historic Slip & Slide Ranch established in 1908 and still operated by the Rigler family. From the unit, you can see the historic rock barn featured in the Montana publication, Hand Raised: The Barns of Montana. In addition, wild Yellowstone bison, which are part of a national bison testing program, graze in the meadow by the main ranch buildings and are easily and safely viewed from the condo site.

The ranch borders thousands of acres of public land with hiking opportunities that can accommodate any skill set. The historic OTO Dude Ranch is a popular trail; hiking the now publicly owned part of the old Slip & Slide Ranch provides two glimpses into Montana ranching and accommodation history. Both hikes provide ample wildlife viewing as well as an opportunity to explore areas outside of Yellowstone Park which are often less traveled than popular Yellowstone Park trails.

The central location allows you to enjoy Yellowstone Hot Springs, 3 miles away, and Chico Hot Springs, 20 miles away. We are also just a short drive to Livingston, Montana where there is a wealth of fine dining, shopping, and art galleries.

The property was absolutely perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Sitting on the deck or by the river was wonderful. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen I have ever experienced. We stopped at Costco in Bozeman and were able to eat in most meals. I highly recommend this property….in fact I just did to my cousin.

We had a wonderful (too short!) stay, and wished this was the property we had for the whole trip. Tanya was responsive, the property was as described, and the deck/riverfront area was absolutely wonderful. Kitchen well equipped, we had everything we needed. Perfect spot to finish up our trip.

A short drive away from Yellowstone

This was home for 3 nights as we took in the sights of Yellowstone. We enjoyed the deck and grill with a couple of evening meals enjoying the deck and river. The bed flexibility worked well for our family. Communications was timely and straight forward.

A Perfect Stay in Paradise

We absolutely LOVED this property for our 24 day visit to Yellowstone. It was just 11 miles from Gardiner. Tanya and Susan were most accessible and helpful with any questions that we had. We had all of the necessities for making our stay comfortable...top of the line cookware, dishes, plenty of laundry soap and dryer sheets, and even bear spray to us for our hikes in Yellowstone. Thank you, Susan, Frank, and Tanya for everything!

Great condo!

A great place to stay! Had everything we needed and love the close proximity to Yellowstone Hot Springs and the park entrance. Back deck view of the river is beautiful, wish it had been warmer so we could have utilized the deck, next time hopefully. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

River Front Condos the Best!

Our stay at River Front Condos for five nights was the perfect location to spend several days enjoying the majesty of Yellowstone National Park and the surrounding areas. The host has a keen sense for what makes a stay comfortable and relaxing. It was obvious that there was a great deal of thought put into what makes a guest feel at home - comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, all the little bathroom extras; and it was all in perfect condition and very clean. I have to also mention its location on the river - AMAZING! We even heard elk bugling early one morning. Enjoyed our stay immensely.

4 day stay

We really enjoyed the ammenities and layout of the apartment. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen well supplied with everything needed. Using a code to enter and lock the front door was easy, and the views spectacular of the river and mountains. We would highly recommended this as a great base for touring Yellowstone. Fishing trip and site seeing.

The location of the property is perfect because you can go north or south and see lots. The property being right on the Yellowstone River was so peaceful you could sit on the deck and watch the river. We had a great time and if we ever went back in that area we would be happy to stay there again.

A+ stay, beautiful environment

Property was exactly as described, very comfortable for 4 adults. Location-wise, it is not far from Gardiner (15 min drive) but be mindful the unit is located immediately on the highway (nested between river and highway). Tanya prepared everything for us, but was not very responsive. No issues were encountered regardless.

This was the perfect place to stay to explore Yellowstone

We had a great time at Tanya's property. We were a group of four - my 75-year old mother, 15-year old nephew, partner, and myself. The condo was spacious, clean, well-stocked, had everything we needed. The location was great for us - not far from the north entrance to the park and the sweet town of Gardiner - and right on the river. It was quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. We then spent a few days in West Yellowstone, but I much preferred the Gardiner area - a lot fewer people, smaller town, less touristy, easier to get into the park. If you're looking to explore Yellowstone and want a comfortable place to stay while doing it, I recommend this spot!

Great Location

Nice lodging close to Yellowstone. Outdoor amenities very nice. Fishing during the spring difficult as there is little to no river bank. Indoor accommodations were clean and comfortable. Only one bathroom with several guests requires some planning in the morning. Only thing missing were ziploc bags and Kleenex; easy to obtain at the local grocery store if desired.

Perfect plus many extras

Very comfortable condo 10 minutes from Yellowstone North entrance. Comfy king beds and well equipped kitchen. New cutlery, dishes and knives that are chef quality. Beautiful deck to sit on and enjoy the Mountain View’s and Yellowstone river. We will return!

Love the king beds!

I picked this location because it offered king size beds which seems pretty rare. The beds were great and the condo was clean and comfortable. It worked out great for our trip to Yellowstone.

Yellowstone in the Winter

Beautiful, quiet location. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. The tub didn’t drain properly and the shower curtain needs replacing but I didn’t report that until I checked out. The setting is much prettier than pictures indicate. The mountains are gorgeous and I saw the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen starting in the front of this condo and enjoyed it all the way to Gardiner. We saw an elk herd every day. One morning we saw bald eagles in the trees along the river.

Yellowstone Winter Trip

Spent a couple days skiing and snowshoeing in Yellowstone and finished each day soaking in the hot springs! Location was great and very easy to get to. Just a few minutes away from the hot springs and a half hour away from mammoth hot springs in Yellowstone. Property was clean and quiet and exactly what we were looking for! Very few restaurants open in Gardiner so we bought groceries at the market and cooked our own meals. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the laundry room was great for cleaning clothes after long days trekking through the snow.

Winter visit to Yellowstone

It worked very well for us. We were only there to sleep & have breakfast, since we left early to get on the Snowcoach & ate out in the evening. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.
