Newer home on Steinhatchee River, approximately 1300 square feet; 3 bedroom, 2 bath; sleeps 6. Master bedroom with queen bed; guest rooms include one double bed in second bedroom and two twin beds in third bedroom. Linens and towels included. Smart TV and High Speed WiFi. Blink security cameras. Children welcome; Pet friendly. Fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, microwave and wine refrigerator; linens, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils provided. Full size laundry facilities. Access to boat ramp, dock, pool. 30-40 minute troll to the Gulf of Mexico. Ample parking under home for boat on trailer and 2-3 cars. Driveway available for additional parking. Front and back porches. Lower level deck overlooking the river.
Beautiful view of Steinhatchee River. Very quiet development. Extremely relaxing. Come here for great fishing and scalloping in their respective seasons.

We love this property, this is the first time we’ have stayed here, even though we’ve been going to Steinhatchee for 10 years, plus. The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked, lovely location. It’s quiet at night, has a nice size kitchen, so we could cook up our scallops, a nice family room for game night, I really have nothing negative to say about this property. It’s maybe a three minute drive to Steinhatchee marina and Sea hag, where we had our boat so we just hopped in the boat and went scalloping. Also has a lovely walking path along the river. Thank you for a lovely weekend. See you next year.

Great rental house

We enjoyed our stay at Rivers Bend in Steinhatchee. Having our own boat ramp and dock was nice. The house is clean and has everything you need. It is far back in the canal, so just be prepared for a longer boat right out to the scallops.

Wonderful 1st Scalloping Trip

We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of four plus my parents. Quiet locale. Friendly neighbors and Anne was quick to help with me forgetting the code to get in upon arrival! Plus, the HOA responded quickly to a tree that had fallen down on the dock.

Nice, quiet stay in Steinhatchee

Stayed 4 nights during 4th of July weekend to go Scalloping. The house and the location was nice. Very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I slept like a baby every night. Very well stocked with cookware, towels, sheets, etc. The owner was very sweet and responsive! The drive to get to the gulf by boat is a little longer than expected because it’s either no wake or minimum wake. It took us roughly 40-50 minutes. We used the private dock one time which was convenient but went to the public boat ramp the remainder of the trip because it was a very HOT boat ride to have to drive minimum speed in 100 degree weather. The boat wouldn’t fit under the house due to height and we just have a 22’ center console with a T top. I wish the community would put a shade over the pool. I was looking forward to a cool dip after a day in the salt water but the pool water was SO hot it felt like a bath tub. There was a alligator swimming in the river in front of the house so it was a no for us on swimming in the river. 😆 Overall, I give it 5 stars because I would absolutely come back! Next time I’ll be fishing up the river, I heard they have record sized bass!

Red Scalloping House

Had an awesome weekend at this cool house on stilts! All the houses in the community are on stilts, it was cool! Great house layout, very cozy, has everything you need and very convenient to the docks to go scalloping or fishing! We fished out back of the house on the river and that was fun too! The no seeums by the river were intense though! Be sure to wear bug spray! It was perfect for the 6 of us! Would definitely recommend!

Vacation stay

Beautiful area . We really appreciate how everything was close together and easy to get to, food and water wise . Although the information book that was left didn’t have a proper clean up plan. A few more notes would be appreciated.

If there was a 6-star option...

Can't say enough good things about this property! Owners communication was exceptional. House was clean and well appointed. Nice, quiet location. Boat ramp being on site was a huge plus, no wait at the public ramp for scallop opener. We will book again!

Spring Break 2023

We stayed for a few days of spring break fishing with our family Plenty of room for 6 people. We did use the boat ramp once and the ride to the marina and gulf wasn’t as long as expected; it was a beautiful ride along the river. The view over the river was nice and the neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Scallop Season

The property, dock, pool, and house was all great. The neighbors don't like the fact the place is rented out. We had several people approach us that we were trespassing. Locals would park there boat in the middle of the dock so there was no room for ours. And would complain about every little thing they could. Other than the neighbors it was a great place to stay!
