Green Valley Casita - Private and Quiet overlooking the Desert Hills Golf Course

Located in the Desert Casitas, this private and quiet end unit has a view of the Desert Hills Golf Course with the beautiful Santa Rita Mountains as a backdrop. This comfortable 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit is 655 sq ft and is fully-furnished with everything you will need for your stay in Green Valley, including a washer and dryer.

The open floor plan has a large living room, extended dining room and an enclosed patio that overlooks the 18th hole of the Desert Hills Golf Course. The inside features 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and kitchen with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove/oven and microwave. The open galley kitchen has dark solid oak cabinets and all the kitchenware and appliances you need for your stay.

This casita also has air conditioning and high speed internet access including a wireless (WiFi) connection. There is cable TV with a TV in the bedroom as well as the living area and includes FREE instant movies from Netflix .

My Green Valley Casita is beautifully furnished with a newer matching couch and recliner, warm wood coffee table, lamps and end tables. It has a comfotable wood dining set and includes a desk situated under the window facing desert vegitation.

Perfect location and friendly neighbors

Perfect location and friendly neighbors highlight this Casita which is an end unit looking out across a natural verdant wash and golf course. Comfortable, with absolutely everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. Kitchen was very well equipped. Convenient to everything in Green Valley and a short half hour to downtown Tucson. Host was very responsive. I would definitely come back again!

Great Green Valley Location

Property was priced appropriately. Jim and Sandy are great hosts and were quick to respond to any questions. Loved the location with easy access to shopping. We would stay there again.

Quiet location, great value

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Desert Hills Casita. It was clean, well-stocked and in a quiet location overlooking the golf course. In the early morning, we would sit out back to see the Javelinas stroll by. The owner was accommodating and responsive to our requests.

Wonderful stay in Green Valley

Great casita for 2 people. Clean. Well equiped. Nice patio area on the gulf course to sun tan, watch birds and javelinas. Close to many major attractions. Owner left us a wonderful directions for all the major attractions, amenties and restaurants. We took advantage and bought rec pass and used pool and gym. Would definately return.

Good Experience

We have been renting for 15 years in Chandler, Tucson, Green Valley and Tubac and this was one of the better units we came across. This casita sits on the western bench above Green Valley and is very close to GVR facilities and within a short drive to good golf and shopping. The property was clean and well maintained and had one of the best equipped kitchens we had ever seen. Wifi and TV were great, the owners really sincere and on the ball and we would recommend it to couples who like privacy and quiet. The rear of the unit faces north however and there is little sun warmth on the deck so for this reason only we chose a SE facing unit for next season within the same complex. Because of the many years we have been snowbirding in the area we have refined our golf to just San Ignacio, Del Lago, Kino Springs, Quarry Pines, Starr Pass and occasionally Tubac. Restaurants in GV tend to be just average but Tucson is close by. The second draw for us next to finding a nice unit like this are the GVR facilities - there are 13 of them and each has it's own character so if you combine a bit of hiking, bicycling, golf and gym workouts it all makes for a very pleasant stay. Overall, GV is well policed, clean and people seem healthy and happy living here. Thank you Jim and Sandy for a comfortable six week vacation!

The condo was fine for two people, well supplied.

A clean and well designed condo for two, with the linens, appropriate kitchen materials and other amenities. The view was beautiful and for New Englanders a very pleasant alternative to blah gray of the March month. We would be glad to return for another season. A lovely spot. I would recommend it and we will be back to Green Valley again.

Winter get-away for a month

We were lucky to get the month of February at this lovely casita. The owner invited us to check in one days early (Jan 31) because the previous tenants left early. The end unit has the extra window at the side, and owner has insulated/ closed off part of the patio, thus extending the dining area, giving the casita a roomy feel. The unit was well stocked (K;Bath;BR) with all necessities to get arrivals started. Owner helped us dinosaurs figure out the TV and NetFlix, for a pleasant stay.

First time success!

This was our first time to rent a property in Arizona and it was a great one. Perfect size, great location, everything was as advertised. A convenient coffee table book was available that listed all the activities, attractions and restaurants a person could want. Great Mexican restaurants abound in the area. If you stay here you will enjoy the quiet because there is no through street. As an added bonus this unit has an additional window that looks out on a spacious side yard. The mesquite tree is fabulous. Without hesitation I would recommend this property to my friends and relatives.

Wonderful place, quiet and private location.

We stayed at this casita last December and it exceeded my expectations. There was a great selection of cookware and dishes. The place was clean, comfortable and what a great view! There is a nice patio that overlooks the golf course with the mountains in the background. Every night was would sit and watch the wildlife and wonderful sunsets. The unit is so private and quiet. We want to come back!

I am a native of Oregon but am having a love affair with Green Valley. I'm not new to owning and renting vacation property with this being my seventh! No, I don't sill have them all (if only) but I've been at it for 30+ years and have learned a thing or two about what it takes make my guest's stay as enjoyable and memorable as possible. You'll find me easy to reach, responsive and a careful and clear communicator.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

In addition to being in beautiful Green Valley and located in a very desirable location, my Green Valley Casita is located at the end of a short dead end street with no through traffic. It is an end unit and there are no buildings on one side - only natural vegetation. I personally maintain and upgrade my casita and fuss over every detail. I keep it in the condition I would want if I were staying there and, in fact, I do spend time there throughout the year.

Location, location, location! It doesn't get much better than spending time in this well-appointed casita on the 18th hole of the Desert Hills Golf Club with the picturesque Sana Rita mountains in the background and just around the corner from the Desert Hills Social Center.
