Relax and enjoy this secluded garden retreat located directly across the street from a family friendly park that boasts tennis courts, a playground, a basketball court & baseball diamond.

Our remodeled, 3 bedroom, well appointed home is the perfect combination of modern design and comfortable living. We've tried to think of everything to make your stay stress-free and enjoyable.

We are located 13 miles from San Francisco & 10 minutes away from SFO (perfect for early departures or late arrivals)

We provide our guests a detailed welcome guide to our home as well as many suggested tourist destinations of interest in the area that locals know about. We are always here to help and want your stay to be absolutely fantastic.

Please note that there is an extra guest fee of $30/person/night for more than 6 guests. This is automatically calculated when you book. There is an additional fee for any unreported guests.

Also, for any guests who do not yet have host reviews, we will ask for the full names of all adults before booking, and we'll require a picture of the primary guest's photo ID to be sent after booking. SSF Permit #P23-0028

Great Homebase for a week in SF

We loved staying here while exploring the bay area! The home is comfy and the garden is a beautiful and relaxing retreat after a long day in the city! Hosts were very kind and communicative and left a welcome guide with all the info we could possibly need!

Lovely house with a magical garden

The house had everything we needed and it was a convenient location for the airport in a nice neighborhood. But the real charm is the incredible oasis in the backyard. Lush and peaceful and seemingly miles away from civilization.

We had a lovely stay at Stacey and Shoshana’s place. It was in a location that was central to the places we wanted to visit and especially close to the airport. They had all of the main amenities which was helpful.

The garden is so beautiful.

We really loved the convenient location to the airport, but for me, the best part was the beautiful backyard garden. It is even enjoyable with a light rain because a portion of it is covered with comfortable seats. We would much prefer to stay here than a big, impersonal hotel. We would stay here again.

Perfect for us

We needed to be in SF for three weeks and I’m so glad we chose this place. It was perfect for what needed. The backyard is magical and was such a great place to hang out. The location was close to anything you might need! Would stay there again anytime back in the area.

Beautiful Home!

We really loved this home & had a very enjoyable stay there! Everything was clean & comfortable. Very nice neighborhood & easy access to the airport, freeway, & to my uncle's home. The instruction booklet was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again when we go back to San Francisco!

Great place

This home is wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. The garden out back is just charming. We made good use of the kitchen and other facilities. We had a smoke alarm act up and they were there to help us within a half an hour. We would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Perfect for our needs!

We loved our stay at this San Francisco VRBO! Getting in was a breeze - the host sent super clear instructions, so we could just drop our bags and start enjoying our vacation right away.The kitchen was a dream, especially for coffee lovers like us. They thought of everything - you can brew a whole pot for lazy mornings or pop in a K-cup when you need a quick caffeine fix. We cooked several meals and found everything we needed, from pots and pans to basic spices.But what really made this place special was the gorgeous garden. We spent hours just sitting outside, watching the hummingbirds dart between the Japanese maples. It was so peaceful watching the squirrels scamper around - felt like our own little oasis in the middle of the city. Such a perfect spot to unwind with morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Second stay at property

This was our second stay at this property and when we arrived we were met with a beautiful condolence card as a family member passed away. We also asked for a couple of things to be added to the kitchen and Shoshana and Stacy happily provided them. This met our family’s wonderfully. Thank you again!

Wonderful!

House is attractive inside and out, well stocked and host suggestions for food were delish. Staying in a neighborhood and visiting the suggested local establishments made it feel like home. Close to SF, Half Moon Bay, Pacifica, Muir Woods and more. Our purpose was vacation mixed with moving our son to Palo Alto, a 25 minute drive. Outside backyard garden was lovely to enjoy reading, dining. Stacee and Shoshana do a very good job. Would stay again!

sweet comfortable house

A very comfortable and attractive house with a beautiful hidden garden retreat in the back. Hosts were great and very responsive. The neighborhood is a quiet residential neighborhood without much nearby, but its a quick trip to anywhere in the bay area so a good staging ground. The house is all on one floor with only a few front steps so easy for my elderly mom to navigate. Be aware that the neighborhood is in the SFO flight path, but we adjusted to the sounds quickly and the house was well-insulated, so this did not bother us. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice little house - Fabulous Owners

From the beginning the communication with the owners was fantastic. The check-in was super easy via email and electronic entry. The house was exactly how described and presented in the listing. They left a book that told you every detail you needed to know about the house and things to do during your visit. You can tell they really care about the home and want to make you feel at home while you are there. There were plenty of towels and bedding, and the things we needed in the kitchen to do some cooking. They even provided some coffee beans! The first night we arrived it was a little warm and I was so glad they provided fans, thank you! We were also glad that there was a washer and dryer as we were in week two of a two week trip. The location was good for our downtown adventures, and especially great for our very early return flight home. We were at the airport in about 8 minutes. We would recommend this place to our friends!

My wife and I enjoyed the authentic feel of the early 1900's. Great handbook so we could easily figure out how to use everything. Bed was totally comfortable, and the heat worked wonderfully which in So. San Francisco apparently is a must even in late October.

CA vacation.

Wonderful home. Our family of 4 which includes 2 college each had a separate bed and private spaces. Was a relaxing place to decompress after a busy day touring SF and surrounding area. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Cozy home away from home.

My family and I wanted to say thanks to Stacee and Shoshana for having us stay at their property. The house is wonderfully kept and very clean. The location was great for visiting the area. The provided house information booklet had everything we needed to know, and great recommendations for the area. I would highly recommend this property!

Pre-cruise stay

Seven family members rented this Bungalow for 3 nights. We all found this rental very nice. It was super clean, well equipped and close to stores. (Sees Candy is less than 5 minutes away.) The location was close to the airport and not too far from local attractions. Host was responsive and had a folder of information for renters on site. There was one bathroom for all of us so we rotated showers. It worked out fine. We loved the garden space - Zen................
