Modern log cabin with million dollar views set in private gated community. No visible neighbors in front view so very private. Porch/deck on three sides. Wide open living room and modern kitchen with granite counters. 2 bed rooms downstairs with master suite upstairs. Great sitting area in loft with best view of Shortoff mountain and Table Rock. Satellite TV in living room and vcr with movies in loft. No WIFI sorry, but you wont need it. Sit on the porch and unwind. Propane grill for grilling and unfinished basement with ice hockey table. Neighborhood has pool as well. Fire pit with benches.

One of my pet peeves when traveling is having to wait for check in. Therefore, I always try to get the cabin ready and often can allow EARLY CHECK IN and/or LATE CHECK OUT.

The cabin is not appropriate for children under age 10 and we do not allow pets or smoking (even outside).

Our neighborhood is one of the best parts of this rental. It is broken into two parts, both of which are gated. The lower part has only 2 houses in it and has a private community pool, a small stream, and lots of space to walk and bike. One of my recent renters fell in love with the neighborhood and purchased their own second home here.

Only 4 miles to boat access ramp. Two state parks very close by - 1 with picnic areas and hiking and another with a sandy beach and swimming area. Easy access to Black Mountain (30 minutes) and Asheville (50 minutes). The Blue Ridge Parkway at Linville falls is only 45 minutes away and Linville caverns is a 40 minute drive. Both Marion and Morganton have cute downtowns and are both 15 minutes away in opposite directions. Morganton has a nice 4 mile paved greenway along a river which is great for walking or biking.
