Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great! But Hot tub was not working on arrival. Also not to have ANY coffee filters is a No Go! It was the wrong coffee machine we brought our own K-Cup pods. So no coffee on arrival or the next morning...Every hotel in America has at least one free cup in a room.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 7 de out. de 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased you enjoyed the great location and sincerely apologize for the hot tub issue and the inconvenience with the coffee supplies and machine. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive expecting to have coffee available and not be able to use the pods you brought. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention and will share your feedback with our team for review. We truly hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

Avoid Elk Springs, they don’t care about their paying customers!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we noticed the AC set to 70 but the place was 82. Within mins we emailed and texted management. Someone came out that night & said something was wrong. The next day it was 82 inside & contacted them again. I asked for them to send someone out at 11am the next day as we were BBQing and trying to relax in the sweat box. We came back to the cabin after maintenance came and sent a text said it’s still broken and 81 inside. They wanted to send someone out at 9:40pm, I declined that as we were leaving the next morning and didn’t want someone around when we were sleeping. Because of that 1 decline of the 3 offers for maintenance (again it was for an eta of 9:40pm) they aren’t compensating us at all. They said too bad you declined services so you’re out of luck!! It was a heat wave in TN temps were above 95 degrees and we were stuck in a hot cabin with only ceiling fans during the day. You couldn’t even use the game area because it was 100 up there! Not to mention, the TV is so old and only has basic cable so you can’t watch tv if you want to. Elk Springs should be ashamed of themselves for letting people pay to sweat in their cabin and not offer any refund or to switch cables! I wasn’t asking for a full refund but something would of been nice. Avoid these people at all cost because they don’t care about their paying customers! Total disrespect and disgrace! I have all the text to prove all this happened and would love to post them if I could.
Resposta de VrboOwner em 25 de set. de 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand how uncomfortable it can be when an HVAC issue occurs, especially during a period of extreme temperatures. That said, we do want to clarify that our team communicated with you throughout your stay and made multiple attempts to have the issue addressed, including sending maintenance to the cabin and offering additional service. Unfortunately, the opportunity to have maintenance return to the cabin was declined. Our team cannot properly resolve an issue or determine its cause without access to the property, and we did not want to enter without your permission. We take our guests’ concerns seriously and made every reasonable effort to assist during your stay. While we understand you were disappointed with the outcome, our decision regarding compensation was based on the circumstances and the service opportunities that were offered. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to provide our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Romantic Get Away

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived late and the home was cleaned and inviting when we arrived. Everything that we could possibly need to make it an uneventful vacation was supplied. The only thing that we didn't realize is how much creaking and groaning the cabin did during high winds lol that was a little unsettling, but it was perfect weather and accomodations for our Anniversay get away.

Thank you for the kind review! We are so glad the cabin was clean, welcoming, and well-stocked for your anniversary getaway.
