The Beach House at Tillicum is a contemporary ocean front home; its layout and location is perfect for your vacation experience. The western facing windows provide breathtaking, unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean--less than 100 feet away. It is the perfect place to relax, to romance, and to reinvigorate!

Relax in the spacious outdoor hot tub just steps off the wrap-around deck, while listening to the mighty surf and watching the distant fishing boats. Follow our private trail to the sands for beachcombing, kite-flying, refreshing runs or romantic strolls on endless miles of lightly populated public beaches.

Many spectacular features await you at the Tillicum House beach. The mouth of Big Creek--just steps from the back yard--changes orientation almost daily, thus altering the look and feel of the beach. For over 40 years, visitors to the beach have carved their names into a gigantic tree that washed ashore during the Great Alaska Earthquake of 1964. Playful seals like to pop their heads up in the nearby waves and follow along as you hike on the beach. Some of the best whale watching in Oregon can also be found at nearby Cape Perpetua.

By staying at Tillicum, you will be centrally located between Florence and Newport, and just minutes from Waldport and historic Yachts where you can find a variety of restaurants, ocean activities and shopping pleasures. Waldport beach house

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this rental. The beach access was the best we have had after many trips to the Central Oregon Coast. Long beautiful beach. The house had everything we needed, including the hot tub. The rental company was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Great access to beach

It is a great place for dogs and direct access to beach. You aren't able to open the back bedroom windows (broken), but was provided fans.

Idyllic Beach Getaway

Place was a short one minute walk from a wonderful broad and long beach. House was clean and comfy. Hot tub worked great. We were close to some great attractions like the aquarium . If we had not had the two year olds would have gone hiking on some of the forest trails nearby. Would recommend this place anytime.

The location is perfect and the beach access was wonderful and easy for seniors to use. The kitchen pots and pans could use replacing but we managed just fine. The things that were less pleasant were not forseeable and certainly not controllable by the management. The home next door is also a rental and shares the entrance from the highway. The guests there could have been a bit quieter but it didn’t ruin our stay. The home to the left is having work done and again, distracting, but won’t ruin the experience. This is a lovely, pet friendly home, very, very comfortable. The decks are perfect for enjoying the sunrise with a cup of tea or coffee and the beach area is breathtaking.

Beautiful memories

We absolutely loved everything about this place property manager was awesome they were easy to contact and very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed making the best memories here with my elderly mother and my sister and our dogs. We loved how easy beach access was we loved the privacy of the hot tub it was nice and hot! Thank you for having us and hope to be back again soon! ❤️ I would recommend this location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home has excellent beach access even for those of us over 60. The home itself is very comfortable and the views from the deck are perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. Reynolds Creek is a few steps away and is just beautiful. Breathtaking sunrise and sunset views makes it feel like you are alone in paradise, no exaggeration.The shared driveway access makes it feel less private but only until you get inside and then you see you are surrounded by the marvelous hedges housing birds and bunnies.The home could use a new set of pots and pans, but we managed and it didn’t detract from the fact that we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay.
