Beach Vacation Rental in Hopkins Landing, Sunshine Coast, BC

Welcome to your perfect coastal escape — where the ocean meets the mountains and life slows down. Located in the peaceful community of Hopkins Landing on the Sunshine Coast, this cozy vacation rental offers beachside living just steps from Hopkins Beach.

The suite features a comfortable queen-sized bedroom, a private bathroom, and a small living room with a kitchen — perfect for a couple or solo traveler. Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and surrounding mountains right from the property.

While the property is not directly on the waterfront, beach access is steps away, allowing you to enjoy the sand and sea with ease.

Conveniently located less than five minutes drive from the Langdale ferry terminal, and just an 8-minute drive to Lower Gibsons. The nearest bus stop is only a 2–3 minute walk away.

Please Note: This is not a detached suite. The owners live on the property, so you may occasionally hear some noise, although we do our best to keep it to a minimum.

The suite is accessed by stairs and is therefore not suitable for guests with mobility challenges.

The suite can accommodate a maximum of two guests.

This peaceful and relaxing place was perfect for my visit to the Sunshine Coast. Well equipped full kitchen, comfortable bed and an amazing view of the waterfront on a quiet road. Nidhi was quick to respond and very welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for a single person or couple.

Possibly the most beautiful view on the Coast. Nidhi and Vineet were kind and welcoming, doing everything possible to ensure I had a perfect stay - they even invited me to gather fresh herbs from their garden! It was my very first VRBO and if this is the calibre of hosts on may expect, I am over the moon. Will be back!

Great location!

We loved this place! Beach was a short walk, lots of great restaurants and coffee shops a few minutes away, and the place itself was very comfortable and well maintained. Host was very nice and available if needed, but we never did :-)

Beautiful spot with lovely sea breeze

Very bright and well situated property. There was everything we could need for our 4 night stay including a very well equiped kitchen, comfy bed, washer and dryer and wonderful views. Super clean accomodations and gracious hosts. Access to a lovely beach Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to hang out after driving around Sunshine Coast

Nidhi and Vineet are very good hosts. They recommended some places to visit. Their suite is really nice, clean and well-kept with brand new and dated appliances. I highly recommend this place for couples wanting a nice view of the ocean while sipping wine and relaxing!

"WOW"

Cannot say enough about this B&B and its gracious Hosts. Rather then being a typical tourist we were so taken by this B@B that we spent two of our three days just at the B&B making food, Kayaking, walking around, just sitting on the deck breathing in the breath taking view. Simply Amazing. This is my Go To place for our next trip to the area.

Wonderful apartment with great views

The apartment was very comfortable and updated with new appliances and fixtures. Two minutes to ferry and 10 minutes to downtown Gibsons. Nidhi and her husband are great hosts. The bed was super comfy and of high quality. I would definitely recommend a one or two person stay in this comfy apartment with great views!

Perfect vacation in Gibsons

We had a lovely stay in our suite. Quiet, great view of the ocean and a relaxing deck to take it all in. The bed and pillows were SO comfortable. Bright, well appointed kitchen. Our hosts Nidhi and Vineet were very helpful and friendly. We learned a lot about the community from them. This was our first visit to Gibsons and we look forward to returning. Very close to the Langdale ferry and a short drive to Gibsons. Walk across the road to a relaxing beach. Delightful in every way. Thank you.

Great area! Hadn't been there in 35 years! Suggest going to the Sunshine Coast earlier than the last week of Sept., as many businesses were closed. Kitchen table and a couple chairs would have been nice but it is a small unit. Only Netflix and and Utube provided. Very comfortable bed! Will only rent a detached unit next time.

We have been constantly making changes and upgrades to the suite to make it more comfortable for our guests. While renting a detached or attached unit is a personal preference, it is very important for guests to read the about the rental and amenities that are offered, before they decide to go ahead and book. We would also advise that guests should not stop communicating with hosts even before arrival, as it becomes challenging for a host to help them if required. We wish you the best and hope you find a vacation rental that suits your requirements.

Beautiful view, nice hosts

This rental is blessed with a truly spectacular view of water, islands and sky. It is well furnished. The hosts are friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The photo of the sloping lawn down to the rocky shore is misleading, as this is not a waterfront property. It's on the uphill side of the road, with houses between it and the water. Also, anyone with mobility issues should know that there are three sets of fairly steep stairs between the parking area and the door of the suite. Overall it was a quiet, and comfortable place to stay. Thanks, Nidhi and Vineet!

Hello Marian, Thanks for your feedback. It was a pleasure to host you. Our property description has always been transparent. We have not mentioned anywhere in our description that this is a water front property. The details mention that it has water and mountain views. All the pictures have description and do mention that the beach is few steps away from the suite. There are images that clearly show that the property is not a water front and has neither been mentioned so. Our property description also mentions that there are stairs and we request all the guests to read the description. :)

Peaceful with stunning views

Nidhi and Vineet were more than super hosts! Very friendly couple and we really enjoyed spending time with them. I had to text Nidhi a few times and she responded right away. Very responsive! She gave numerous food and shopping recommendations. We visited their food truck and were impressed with the quality of food Nidhi prepared. The iced coffee and mango smoothie were amazing! Our stay was peaceful and the views off the balcony and beach were beautiful. I have to agree with a previous review in that there was limited space for luggage but we made it work. The bed was super comfortable. The new outdoor space off the bedroom was great for our morning coffee. We would definitely revisit! Thank you Nidhi and Vineet!

Beautiful calm respite

Loved our stay here. Very clean comfortable and just lovely. Hosts left us instructions on how to use the smart TV. Netflix and YouTube will get you enough to catch up on news and some entertainment for your stay. Lovely deck just outside front door with a table with umbrella for 2. One night my husband was going to barbecue our dinner and looked down to see 2 orcas swimming along the shore. Just the cherry on a great stay. We look forward to returning when we can.

What makes our property unique is its peaceful location just steps from Hopkins Beach, offering guests the rare combination of ocean and mountain views without the hustle of a busy area. Though not a waterfront property, beach access is only moments away, perfect for morning walks or evening sunsets.

The suite is cozy and ideal for a couple or solo traveler, and it's just minutes from the Langdale ferry, a short walk to public transit, and a quick drive to Lower Gibsons. Guests enjoy the quiet charm of Hopkins Landing while staying well-connected to everything the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Our yard is also a favourite spot for local wildlife — deer and black bears are regularly seen wandering through, sometimes even during the day. And if you're lucky, you might just catch a glimpse of an orca while enjoying the view from our deck. It’s truly a nature lover’s dream.
